- Took my 2018 Camaro SS 1LE out to Palm Beach International Raceway for my first ever track day. The car is bone stock other than a JLT catch can and Spiegler stainless steel brake lines. Nice driving, I was about to buy a GoPro but saw this and will use a tack form mount and the phone mount instead!
Thanks Steve! I love this mount. It is a bit annoying with no phone or GoPro on it due to rattling but aside from that, it's a good mount. So many ways of adjustability. I did a test video with the GoPro on it the other day along with my new mic and it was pretty solid. I'll have that video up at some point. Trying to test which field of view to set the GoPro to.
@@foto1LE Cheers! I just can't justify the price of a new Go Pro 7/8 when the iPhone 11 seems to do a pretty decent job/easily runs the lap timer etc and you can use an external mic without the go pro adapter!
@@Steve-qr2lm I just purchased a mic kit from Purple Panda. It doing Sebring on the 16th so I should be able to test everything out then. My GoPro was free from a buddy who couldn't get it to work on his phone via the app. Old GoPro but it works lol
