NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE WITH THIS ONE: I have been happily using the XDJ RR in Rekordbox USB standalone mode for quite a few months now running on firmware V1.0 . I cut and scratch a lot and I have found the RR to be perfect, (more responsive than the Laggy XDJ RX2 which I sold after owning one for a week.) My issue is this, I updated the Rekordbox DJ software on my Macbook Pro to the latest version then updated the XDJ Firmware from v1.0 to v1.01 only to find that the standalone performance was not as sharp and responsive as it originally was. IE: It was now slightly laggy when trying to do quick baby/small scratches or cuts. I agree the Laptop/Macbook to the XDJ RR performance has improved but the USB standalone jog wheel/crossfader performance seems to have been affected by this so called upgrade. I suspect if you don't scratch or cut you may not notice this. Please compare standalone units using Rekordbox USB files on an XDJ RR on v1.0 with an XDJ RR on v1.01. I would be happy if I could revert the firmware back to the earlier version.
bjumoja I honestly didn’t notice a change in it. I did a few videos after this one in Standalone mode where I was scratching and it didn’t feel any less laggy. I’m usually sensitive to a 5ms difference.
@@priyonjoni OK, I wish Pioneer gave you the option to revert back if a firmware doesn't quite do it. I have a lot of gear and I notice the difference.
Have a similar issue with the XDJ RX2 whereas its jog wheel doesn't respond to a touch (it should stop the track in vinylmode but it doesn't). A firmware update initially solved the problem but it came back after a second restart of the XDJ RX2. (Rekordbox is updated). Any idea?
Hans Singelenberg you May be having cable interference that is causing the the touch capacitive jog wheels to fail to respond. Look up my video “are you using he right cables?” I have a possible solution in there.
Hi, I tried to update my XDJ RR formware from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3, both using your method & the manual told me to. But it keeps on showing the “Connect USB storage device into top USB 1 port”. I changes my flash drive, reformatted it (ex fat, fat 32) still no progress bar showing.. any idea? Nice video btw.. Thanks update: i used another flashdrive (after 5 times of changing), it worked.. turned out, the flashdrive i used earlier (sandisk) was not detected by the machine.. I don't know why..
Order the XDJ-RR here: amzn.to/2Cr10GG

How is the audio quality in the XDJ RR?
Any fix with Traktor pls?
Same issue..Delaying,drifting and can't scratch at all!
Already updated the latest firmware tho..
Does traktor officially support the RR? Or are you using a mapping? Usually a mapping will have a delayed jog wheel.
@@priyonjoni Juz using mapping of RX cuz I don't see any for RR..
any fix pls?
