By any chance, is there a cheap fix for the aux input by now? Would love to include vinyl without buying a full extra mixer, so wondered whether there is something like the tool you showed for the booth output? Thanks!
It is definitely not garbage. Cool controller but I cannot tell you how pleased I am that I bought the XDJ-RX instead it is much more suitable for what I wanted.
Just bought one of these used to use as my travel gear, MY DDJ-RZX IS JUST WAY TOO HUGE! I have also owned the XDJ_RX and really liked the clicky hot cue buttons better then the XDJ-RX2. No need for a booth out if your plugging into the club mixer anyway it has a booth already. But I do have a volume controller that can be hooked up to the unbalanced rca if needed for gigs without a mixer provided. I also dont need a touchscreen search as I set up playlists that are in order of my set so its easy to find the next track, no reaL search needed unless your a fly by the seat of your pants dj lol
So i’m thinking between the XDJ RR and a XDJ RX 1 (used). Right now still playing on a ddj400 but want to go for a stand alone. The XDJ RX 2 is just to expensive for me, my budget is €1000. What do you think is the best? I’m playing at house party’s for fun and have 2.1 active full range speaker system. Thanks
Ordered them yesterday Being a 12,10 dj from years back Iv got these just to have a bit of fun with Looking forward to trying to scratch on em Wasn't to bad on the vinyl in the day.
Great video man. Have the XDJ XZ and RR and I'll explain why I chose the RR over second hand RX1. The RR definitely doesn't have anywhere near the bells and whistles of the RX, and certainly feels cheaper (as it is if buying new) but for mobile sets I'd much prefer using this over the RX, particularly second hand and one that is over its warranty. Firstly, it's lighter, smaller (easier to carry) if doing mobile sets you have a few FX and that's OK as realistically, when do you go "James Hype" mode when performing mobile gigs (honestly now 😅👍) and sound quality actually sounds slightly better overall than the RX1, at least from my personal testing. So yeah, more mobile, much cheaper if purchasing both units new, or, even comparing to second hand RX and slightly better sound. Good buy, but yeah, just to be clear, if I didn't need it for mobile gigs I'd purchase an RX 1 / 2 or 3 if not already having an XZ, which is a beast! 😁
Really hoping I like this controller 😭 It’s too late already bought it and on its way.. Just honestly wanted something for mobile gigs that was stand alone. Too many issues with my Mac in recent years to justify using it full time at a gig.
If you can’t play a good set w this. Lol. Then it’s you. I have this for private parties. Small events. Then I have my Cdj 2000nexus 2s for everything else This works great
Question if I may. Regarding rekordbox. Where do you download your music to drop in it please? By the way I have a loft full of records and 2 sl1210s. So just excuse the strange question lol
chadnliz2k11 I laugh at people like you.. I‘ve seen newcomer DJ‘s droping more dope sets on this kind of "toys" then some elitary wanna be superstar DJ‘s on 15k equipment..
It is but with pioneer having the market share prepping with rekordbox for a DJ that actually plays out makes more sense. I bought a pair of sc2900 when the dropped and was sorely disappointed with How shit the build quality was and how shit engine was and the fact they all but gave up supporting it. It also costs about £500 more than this unit so...
Hmmm hmmm, mac Book Air, OK XDJ-RR is costless than it coupled with entry controller, but can't beat with a laptop PC computer (and despite of the legend, a PC is not less stable than MBP/MBA, it's the same components! Difference: OS X, Windows 10 is very stable and a PC is easy to upgrade) I have the DDJ-SB3, I love it and an "old" Lenovo with i3 CPU upgraded to 8 GB RAM with Win 10 and no glitches nor instability . Please DJs from all over the world, don't follow this "hype" myth buying an Apple device, a good PC CAN do the job as good as a MB!
@@oliverforceofficial And you, did you have ever owned a PC for mixing? I wanna say no I have ma laptop since 2014 running without problems Ear me, I'll never own a 3000 € MacBook,it's too expensive for a PC with a fork proprietary version of Unix/Linux (Yep you read well, a Mac Book since its launch is a PC in physical components(CPU,GPU,RAM and so on)). I found this video really helpful & i have now purchased the RR & look forward to using it to take me from bedroom to villa parties!

Excellent review ! Ok being from the old school I noticed the 1200's and is that a Gemini mixer 👀🧐😎 NOW THAT IS KEEPING IT REAL 👍

I really like this video! 🔥

Hi. With my 1K budget should I buy Pioneer DJ XDJ -rr or Gemini SDJ 4000? Please give me real reasons. Thanks
Question if I may. Regarding rekordbox. Where do you download your music to drop in it please? By the way I have a loft full of records and 2 sl1210s. So just excuse the strange question lol
What would you buy, a Xdj rr or a Ddj 800 with the same price. I’m a dj who wants to play at clubs.
I have Numark Mixtrack Platinum pro. Still don’t see any benefits as why to get the xdj rr ? Would actually feel like a downgrade
Can this unit plays continues music or auto mix..?..Like set-up one hour of music for a cocktail hour..??!!@@
What you think about the pioneer ddj-1000? Comparable to the the Cdj 2000 nexus 🤔
Ddj 1000 is not stand alone so go figure
Cool!
What kind of thumbdrives are those?
DJ Noji San Disk
Entry level? Let's see what else they have up their sleeves
Too expensive for entry-level...
XDJ RR vs DDJ
800???
Please help how to go livestream on facebook or IG from Xdj RR. It only has master output no booth output yet...
Use the rca output
I was considering this one until I found out that it has no booth out... what a let down...
This more than four bedroom dj u can do small party wedding and job Christmas party teen party
White balance? Love the video but please white balance
my videos are actually filmed at 4800k with 5000k LED lights. I'm using a teal orange color grade LUT.

does it work with vdj8?
That’s a question for Virtual DJ. I heard their forums are pretty good about letting folks know.

Annoying you can't add turntables. Might go for Traktor
That's what the XDJ-RX2 is for. But if you want DVS functionality, the options are the DDJ-1000 for Rekordbox or the DDJ-SX3 for Serato.
