You need to see the end result to believe it for yourself! We tested vinegar, works toilet bowl cleaner, comet, magic sponge, and CLR cleaner. We assumed the toilet bowl cleaner would be the best. Lime away with a green scotch bright sponge. My sink was flat with no shine at all
after renting my home for a couple years. Lime away worked great on the sink after
scrubbing it a couple times. White Vinegar is great for soaking rusty can openers
and tools over night, doesn't help with a stainless sinks at all.

Great video, I appreciate the comparison! I couldn't help but chuckle at the music. I'm sure when the composer was writing this piece this is exactly what he was picturing 😉

Being a property manager, those guys are “shoot your load quickly”, looking for results in 2 minutes utes. Many homeowners have CLR or Limeaway, and I have a jug of vinegar from Costco handy for quarterly pouring into toilet tanks. My suggestion is to use Vinegar as multipurpose, and use paper towels soaked in vinegar and lay them on the sink for as long as you can, hours, overnight, and the minerals will dissolve. Same with minerals anywhere like faucet aerators, shower fixtures, kitchen back splash area, etc. Cut paper towels to sizes that fit the area, long or short strips, and wrap it around or over the area with mineral deposits. My shower faucet control knob is cleaned by wrapping strips of paper towel dipped with vinegar, 2 hours later, sponge off the dissolved minerals. Faucet aerators, remove them and dip them in a small cup of vinegar; minerals dissolved. You can also use CLR that cost more with the paper towel strip method.

Speaking from personal experience. If that toilet bowl cleaner touches chrome, it will stain it.

This is true. Toilet bowl cleaner will ruin the finish on chrome fixtures. I think The CLR should be safe for that though.

@@SkyManagement yes they still make CLR, just not the versions tested. I did find out they renamed it CLR Brillant bath though.

This video should come with a warning. He’s a professional but for the rest of us..do not attempt this at home! some cleaning products are not supposed to be mixed! If mixed they can release toxic fumes and can be lethal.
