Ah, Glenn Danzig. I've actually always preferred Twist of Cain, even though I do enjoy Mother. This video is definitely the studio version set to live footage.
It's a great song but I don't think it's remotely his best work personally. Everything Glenn Danzig touches turns to gold eventually because he is true to his own path regardless of what the rest of society thinks. Look up his massive list of work and be amazed by just how talented he actually is.
This was my 13 year old daughter’s introduction to the world outside the cornfields of Indiana at first we were up in the 2 nd floor watching everything she was lost in total awe and scared but before it ended she was on my shoulders getting security on us lol best time being DAD ever

The trick to jumping into the crowd (aka "crowd surfing") is to do it when a crowd is at capacity. If they're packed in there, assholes, to elbows, they simply wouldn't be able to move out of your way. They have to catch you, or get squished.

You're kind of right. It was a studio re-recording with crowd noises edited it. They released this because there was a horribly recorded bootleg making it's way onto the radio, and they wanted to put out an alternative to it.
The MTV-version is the circulated live version (w the crowd noises from demonsweatlive track 93). I'm certain that live mix never got released to proper video, unless, as a promo maybe? Also, her audio left/rt needs adjusting... at the end is crossing out the guitar solo. (Bad cable somewhere)

Back In The 90's I went to see Rage Against The Machine in Oakland Ca. as Soon the Band Started Play The Mosh Pits Started I got Caught Up In One And I couldn't Get Out Of It, It was Like I was Getting Pushed Punched And Kick From All Directions and People Jumping On Me It Got Scary For a While Then When I finally Made out of That Pitt I was Dazed, Security Grabbed Me And Pulled Me Out, but not before Someone Kicked Me In The Face, and They Took Me To Where There were Wounded People Laying All Over The Place Security didn't Let Back In The Concert
This was the best Danzig line-up. Glenn, John Christ, Eerie Von, and, Chuck Biscuits. Plus, Rick Rubin produced these first three records. Then, Glenn fired the band members, decided to produce things himself, and, everything started to suck.
