This one was exactly the same yet she ruled completely the opposite. Not sure I can wrap my head around her reasoning here.
It's because she kept giving money without getting paid back. For it to be a loan, there needs to be a reasonable expectation of being paid back. When someone keeps giving after not getting paid back, then that reasonable expectation is gone and it's viewed as a gift.
Well in this case it was over the course of 2 years she was giving him money just because a relationship is over doesn’t mean at the end you can turn everything into a “loan”. She also admits in the beginning that she included things that she told the judge were gifts…courts aren’t there to make u feel better. In this case after 2 yrs there was no evidence of the, being loans by her own admission on a lot of these items. If she would have just sued for the 600 she may have given him that but the sum of the case was she’s a woman scorned and now wants everything she ever gave him back
