Some people are just lucky when gambling. My mom could sit down at a slot machine and within 10 minutes win a minimum of 500 bucks, every damn time. Asked her once how she does it she said the machine just calls to her so she will go and play it.
Glad your Mom has the magical touch! Does she offer classes?😄 I started playing the slots in 2016 until co-vid. I went every other day and in a year I'd average winning $6k and lose $9k. In my state.. stores can only pay out $600 max per person. If you win more than that you have to mail it to the state lottery board as many stores dont have that much cash on them.. The state board has to pay out higher amounts by law.
I know she’s telling the truth because this as happened to my sister in law she won the lottery and he wouldn’t cash the lottery tickets without him getting a cut
She's addicted and should probably stop, at the end she said she didn't even if she was behind. its so easy to lose money if you dont track it. I'm glad she won
I heard that too. She has a really cute demeanor and said the big win probably put her back to only being down a bit overall. That defendant is an evil rat. Omg she was willing to work with him on a payment plan (even though she didn't have to) then he turns around and steals it all.
So he robs customers and lies straight to a judge's face!! That's a garbage move !! Greedy !! I do think that she should have willingly. Wanted to give his son something for doing what he did to help her. Don't ever let anyone 🔩🪛 you over !! I'm glad that she finally made him face what I'm sure he's done many times over to customers.
He called her broke but stated in the police report that he used HER money to pay bills. Then continuously saying “these people” but those people are patronizing your business to pay your bills that you can’t pay. I wouldn’t go to his store and would tell others not to as well. There needs to be more Black owned businesses in Black neighborhoods instead of giving money to people who wouldn’t be bothered with us but will take our money smh.
The lottery is the thing that get the people in those things of stores, if I’m a betting 😅women he lost his food stamp machine also, they can’t last without those government services
I agree with tashia. The evil plaintiff loses in the long run. Peoples Court used to give the litigants $250 each so let's double it and say the thief got $500. Makes me mad but he's probably lost a hell of lot more than the ability to sell lotto tix.
How about get lottery tickets that you can actually pay for at that moment. Also, dumb on the store owner for allowing people to come back and buy tickets later.
Wow! That thief deserved far more punishment than having his lottery license revoked! What a scumbag! He'd been playing this game with the customers for years, and it was all cool, as long as the tickets lost. Then suddenly a customer wins a sizable pot and the rules changed and he's keeping the money. I have to wonder if this hasn't been the plan for many years, if one of his "pay later" customers ever won.
What a confusing tangle this lottery ticket case was! The last time I played was decades ago, buy tickets, check a list, and if you have a number, you got whatever amount it was for from the place where I bought it, immediately. 🤷♀️
The defendant is shady. A friend had won on a scratcher, took it to cash in and the clerk told him he would not give him cash but would give him more tickets. The retailer no longer sells lotto since he was reported. He had tried to do the same thing to a lot of people.
I have a feeling this is not the first time the defendant has messed with people's lottery, this was probably why he can't sell lottery at his store anymore i'm glad she won her case.
If that ticket didn’t win she would’ve made him eat that 9 dollar cost , those lottery people can be ruthless…they are addicts …why was the money never taken from the ATM lol did I miss that part lol shorty was on her way home and was like ope they won lemme head back 🤣🤣
They did immediately shut down his lottery machines. He says at the end he's not in the lottery business anymore, which is a good thing, because he's crooked.
@@PeaceIsAlwaysBeautiful92 exactly...how are we going to say she has a problem because of how much she spends on tickets...that maybe her only leisure for her hard earned money...the point is he stole her money
"If you feel that you're cheated out of money and that you're entitled to it, don't take the law into your own hands.. you take 'em to court." AND SHE DID AND WON!
He loudly called her broke. But he wanted the money to pay his bills. Took 000000 accountability. The reports and everything and blaming people like her.
Hey man, she didn’t pay for the ticket, she didn’t win it. You can’t play some numbers, have them print a ticket out, then go home and wait for the numbers to hit then come back and say here let me pay you for those tickets. The tickets are voided out or sold to someone else before the drawing if you don’t pay for them before the drawing.
He has allowed her to do it several times, and it was never an issue until she won big. He even admitted in the police report that he cashed it because he needed to pay his own bills. He's in the wrong.
It's an interesting 2 part verbal contract case. At the 4:00 minute mark she had $3000 worth of winnings in her hand so obviously she wins that but in my opinion she also won the $12k. She buys tix from their store everyday because she's an addict and the father admitted they have held tix for her before so by his own testimony the tix are hers. If she was a complete stranger to them I'd agree with you. She left for the ATM at 7pm and came back at 8:15 pm (after the 8pm draw) but that's irrelevant as the tix were hers.
@@MusicTennis in the past she has always come back to pay for the tickets before the drawing. Legally, if the tickets are not paid for before the drawing, they are not hers. I agree that was definitely a verbal contract, but I would argue that the contractors avoid if she doesn’t come back to pay before the drawing. I say she loses the right to come back and claim the tickets if she waits until after the drawing is done. I feel like she blew it, but I also feel like he’s a liar. But he is responsible for the tickets that are printed out before the drawing if they are not paid for. Per lottery regulations. If those tickets are not sold to someone else, those tickets are to be voided out. The mistake the defendant made was lying about it, but the bigger mistake he made was allowing people to order tickets and not make them pay for them immediately. now that the store has lost their ability to sell lottery tickets, I’m sure she has to go much further now to another location to lose her money 😂
She was able to check lottery results before paying for them. If the store had checked lottery results, they could have kept the tickets themselves because they legally owned them until she paid.
According to the law though, there was already an agreement that she was coming back to pay for them so he can't take them back. Its considered a contract. There was negotiation, agreement and acceptance as soon as the son offered to hold them. If she didn't come back that night then yes, they could have been theirs. But not within the hour.
@@xonx209 This is well known scam in lottery business. Buyer comes in and buys large ticket near draw closing. Claims he forgot his wallet and will return to pay for the ticket (after draw). He returns and pays for ticket ONLY if it is a winner
Some people are just jealous, negative, and spiteful and that is what the defendant is. He was jealous because the plaintiff won something big and he wanted to take from her as if she doesn't deserve to win like he was looking down on her. I just hope this had nothing to do with her race or age! Some people in this world hate to see others happy and winning and the defendant is a MISERABLE WEASEL! (that's the only decent way I can describe him on here)🙄🙄🙄
I was somewhat surprised the plaintiff won, as she didn't pay for the tickets with her own cash. It doesn't make sense that you pay for a ticket with the winnings. However, what saved her was that she has been able to do this "I'll pay later " in the past. To the judge, it doesn't matter if it's before or after the draw, the pattern of "paying later" was established. That and the fact the defendant is a greedy fool is why she won. The story in the police report could not be fabricated...its way too specific.
@@michelehemlokhexwhite4310 that was the point when he should’ve said no you didn’t pay for these tickets before the drawing so the tickets are not yours. I think the tickets are his legally. The fact that he allowed her to pay for those tickets, and then essentially seized some other winning tickets the next night made him a thief. Tickets that are not paid for before the drawing are not hers.

I play lottery constantly and boy oh boy its hard as hell to win those numbers so ...good 4 her shame on him he needs his licenses revoked
He doesn’t care. He’ll open another lottery shop in his Sons name 😮😂
Exactly
This is one of the craziest episodes I’ve seen
This episode was insane 😬🤣🤣 best one yet lol
There’s a lot of these thieves keeping peoples tickets for themselves in a lot of states. I’m glad he got caught and shut down.
Imagine the local drunks or other people who may be impoverished that he has taken advantage of but they didn’t have the means or know how to sue him
Right! Karma for him today.
Exactly!!! It's heartbreaking to think about honestly
In my state.. stores can only pay out $600 max per person. If you win more than that you have to mail it to the state lottery board as many stores dont have that much cash on them..
The state board has to pay out higher amounts by law.
okk see thats why Im lost, why is he paying anything, I thought you take the ticket to Lotto. not no he pays her
I know she’s telling the truth because this as happened to my sister in law she won the lottery and he wouldn’t cash the lottery tickets without him getting a cut
So did she cash it or what?
Why did he expect a cut? He ain’t pay for shit and not giving out free stuff in his store
they already get a cut, i would call the police
She's addicted and should probably stop, at the end she said she didn't even if she was behind. its so easy to lose money if you dont track it. I'm glad she won
I heard that too. She has a really cute demeanor and said the big win probably put her back to only being down a bit overall. That defendant is an evil rat. Omg she was willing to work with him on a payment plan (even though she didn't have to) then he turns around and steals it all.
Dude interviewing at the end had it right but he stop... he meant to say you really got ur ass handed to you😩😂😂
So he robs customers and lies straight to a judge's face!! That's a garbage move !! Greedy !! I do think that she should have willingly. Wanted to give his son something for doing what he did to help her. Don't ever let anyone 🔩🪛 you over !! I'm glad that she finally made him face what I'm sure he's done many times over to customers.
1oo dollars was alot, I would have said 10 20 dollars. Im confused did she get her 15k or not, I thought the lotto pays it not the store
Exactly I wish they would've left the name so we can leave reviews!
She may have a gambling problem...
Definitely
Lol ya think?!!!
She DOES...
May????
May?
The sad thing is the show pays her not him,he even gets paid because he's on tv....so he isn't being punished which really pisses me off
The lottery is the thing that get the people in those things of stores, if I’m a betting 😅women he lost his food stamp machine also, they can’t last without those government services
I agree with tashia. The evil plaintiff loses in the long run. Peoples Court used to give the litigants $250 each so let's double it and say the thief got $500. Makes me mad but he's probably lost a hell of lot more than the ability to sell lotto tix.
Omg, I said the same thing and will charge double on the foodstamp card.
His dignity, integrity, and Reputation
What's the Price of that?
You couldn't pay me to play lottery at a corner arab store
Money brings out the worst in people.
Her little thank you at the end. Hahaha. Roasted
I buy lots of tickets if this dude did this he be laying on the ground lmao 🤣
I hope the people in that community saw this and stopped keeping him in business! What a horrible trashy human being he is! SMDH
Never trust a person who sounds like Count Dracula! 😂
Whew, what a piece of work!
If that ticket didn’t win she would’ve made him eat that 9 dollar cost , those lottery people can be ruthless…they are addicts …why was the money never taken from the ATM lol did I miss that part lol shorty was on her way home and was like ope they won lemme head back 🤣🤣
15:31: Damn Judge Milian! Said it with such venom! And to add some insult to injury...a tip which is the true knife twist!
The store automatically gets a cut for selling the ticket so he out of pocket
EXACTLY and he gets more customers with the sign LAST WEEK WINNING 15K ticket bought here
I hope that the lottery officials void this store’s contract
They did immediately shut down his lottery machines. He says at the end he's not in the lottery business anymore, which is a good thing, because he's crooked.
When you win money at a store. They always want apart of the win. The store get a percentage of the win from the lottery office.
Doug really let the loser have it in the hallway. That was well deserved.
The lady got a gambling problem and the owner is robbing her to boot.
At $50 a day she’s spending $18,250 a year just on tickets.
Who gives a damn! Her gambling problem isn’t the issue, him robbing her of her money is.
@@PeaceIsAlwaysBeautiful92 exactly...how are we going to say she has a problem because of how much she spends on tickets...that maybe her only leisure for her hard earned money...the point is he stole her money
This is my favorite people's court!
"If you feel that you're cheated out of money and that you're entitled to it, don't take the law into your own hands.. you take 'em to court." AND SHE DID AND WON!
How dare he call her broke when he is having money issues…
Oh he been stealing!!!! Probably decades too smh he had the wrong one this time lol 😂😂😂😂
I think he really believes he was justified in what he did which is CRAZYYYY😂😂😂
My guy said you caught it from the judge. Im screaming lol
Never mind the people’s court, I’m thinking the state lottery commission would be very interested in this case for a multitude of reasons.
Plaintiff is the Lottery Queen 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽
she play ha numbers
If this happened in his country he would 100 % get away with this. Oh wait they would ban women from playing the lottery.
He loudly called her broke. But he wanted the money to pay his bills. Took 000000 accountability. The reports and everything and blaming people like her.
Oh my goodness, she has a lottery addiction.
It sounds like he tried to pull the Race Card after everything else failed.
He got grilled like a marshmallow
That's a good point, she did come back after the draw. More important than this case is the lady at 11:25 who is insanely gorgeous.😁@@joeybiden7755
14:58 Andd......the coveted VICTIM CARD comes out! 🤣
But not within the hour.
they had a contract, which she paid an amount of and he accepted making it binding. he said it himself.
If she had lost, would she still go back to the store to pay for the tickets?
@@xonx209 This is well known scam in lottery business. Buyer comes in and buys large ticket near draw closing. Claims he forgot his wallet and will return to pay for the ticket (after draw). He returns and pays for ticket ONLY if it is a winner
@markhampete but she plays at this store all the time whether she wins or loses
Some people are just jealous, negative, and spiteful and that is what the defendant is. He was jealous because the plaintiff won something big and he wanted to take from her as if she doesn't deserve to win like he was looking down on her. I just hope this had nothing to do with her race or age! Some people in this world hate to see others happy and winning and the defendant is a MISERABLE WEASEL! (that's the only decent way I can describe him on here)🙄🙄🙄
I thought if the customer won that the store will get something as well but I guess it depends on the winnings
What a fool the defendant!!!!!
The defendant is a scam artist. He took advantage of the plaintiff and as a result karma will come to him down the road, if not already..
She went back to cash the winning tickets in her possession so she could pay for the $9 worth of tickets the store had retained.
I knew he look so familiar lol 🤣🤣😅😅
