How should you clean the valve cover at this point? Do's and don'ts as far as what to use, what not to use? I'm worried about, for example, getting brake cleaner even a trace amount down inside the engine. I'm not a mechanic so thank you for the wellpaced tutorial!
Hello please my 2007 honda V6 engine, the engine oil leak and empty anytime the top gasket flat or burn, and the all oil empty immediately. Please help
Luckily its the front so easier to get a drill to it if thats whats required. But you will have to take the valve cover back off. If you drill off center and damage the threads, you can drill it out bigger and use a heli coil or thread cert

I like orange citrus degreaser.
what tool did you used to take out the hoses? I'm having a hard time taking them out
So no need to torque spec or order sequence when tightening back down anything.??
What kind of grease for the tube seals? Thanks.
Doesn’t matter that much. We used some wheel bearing grease, but you could also use silicone paste or something similar.

Tighten a screw to hard on the front valve cover and broke inside 😩 anyway to get it out ?
Drill it. Or if you're lucky enough to have a piece sticking up/not broke flush with the head, you can tap an extractor socket onto it and turn it out
