They both sound good. The Flowmaster didn't sound much louder than stock, thats not a bad thing though. The muffler delete was deeper than I expected. That resonator is HUGE.
My son who’s 16yrs old found this channel and has since convinced me to to upgrade our V6 Durango GT (Brass Monkey edition). I at first told him that there’s no way of ever getting our V6 to ever roar, but now after watching many of your v6 exhaust upgrades I will be taking my son the a muffler shop to swap the factory exhaust for mid & rear delete in exchange for Flow Master 40s.
I'm usually a Flowmaster man, however in this case: I'd have to go with the plain ol muff delete. 👌 Oh and just out of curiosity, if I ever need any exhaust work done and my normal guy can't do it for some reason, where abouts are y'all located? I'm in Middle TN also. Thanks fellas! I watch and enjoy your channel almost daily and I've turned a few friends onto subscribing to the channel as well 👍 Keep up the good work!
@@airuzair2424 like so. you need mufflers on the back to damp this canny sound, and if you need it louder just took resonator off and try a glasspack ~30cm in length.
@@Mocconagames I have an 07 stock and want something deep but not overly loud or just obnoxious. I was looking at the flowmaster dbx and swapping that with the resonator but a glass pack would be cheaper
@@airuzair2424 to get really deep sound you will need high skill specialist, I just know a little. But you can go for a glasspack and I think it will work that way - more deep and more aggressive, with a moderate loud sound.
It does affect your mpg. It worsens it. With just about every single of today’s vehicles there is a loss in power with a resonator and muffler delete. It’s mainly just for sound.
That's the v6 for ya🤷♂️ I have a trailblazer i6 ext with cat, res delete and down pipe with a flowmaster super 10 and it sounds like a v8 at idle and when I'm revving it but when I'm driving you start to hear the trumpet sound at around 3k rpms lol
Question right now on my Jeep Grand Cherokee I have no mid muffler or rear I only have x pipe right now it's sexy but too loud I've been looking at flowmaster sound I like it what do you recommend ? I was thinking only 1 where the mid muffler goes 2 in 2 out
Question can u check out the video of my 2019 Nissan Altima with a muffler delete to straight pipes and tell me how to change the sound of mine. I would really appreciate it
Did you remove any resonators (mid muffler) or just the two rear mufflers? Removing a resonator will definitely make it louder. One thing to consider, if you do decide to remove a resonator, the exhaust will be raspy at high rpms and you might have some droning while cruising. Some people like raspy. Something else, put on a cold air intake. It will make your car sound more aggressive on throttle, and they look alot nicer than the crappy plasticky stock one. Intakes are very easy to install, usually about an hour and only simple hand tools. Hope that helps. If you have any questions, just ask. Btw, I really like the new Altima.
i got a 3.5 v6 07 nissan altima with flow master super 10s and 4 inch exhaust sound like a monster them 40 series and stuff meant for trucks they dont sound good on cars

This channel already became my favorite for exhaust vids! Keep up the great work!
I agree. Sleeper channel
That giant resonator is choking the 40 series out....
Fact tho
Anyone else see the skid plate drop on the flowmaster maxima when it took off😂
Muffler delete for the Win!!
I second this all day everyday twice on sunday

real 1 right there
How'd you like the 40s?
Hi bro the muffler delete is the best , the sound is like a v8 😂
And your montage is beautiful 😍
Continue with this videos we love you ❤️
With the flowmasters sound like a V8 engine really good not too loud due to the big resonator
Muffler delete was better 👍👍

Much obliged
Muffler delete got it💪🏽💯
you just need a glasspack with these V6. resonator actually works like glasspack.
So keep mufflers and swap resonator with glasspack?

Smaller resonator with the flowmasters and thats it. Will sound louder and deep
Flowmaster sounds good.
Just need to delete the resonator

Did her under engine shield fall off at the end of the video?
Flow masters sounds the best
Uh did anyone else see that plastic cover fall off at the end? 💀
Lmao i just seen it
When you do the muffler delete does it take away from your miles per gallon. How about horsepower do you lose or gain?

First car that sounds nice with the muffler delete.
I’m trying to make mine sound deeper because it’s loud already but the deep sound goes away when I accelerate

CVT. No thanks.
In these maxima and altima as well as Sentra 2015+ their CVTS are muchas better NO BELT its Chain and longer ratios durables
hi bro....please review nissan gtr with flowmaster exhaust... please
Good car
La peor pendejada que le puedes hacer a un máxima ,su rugido original en modo SPORT es hermoso .
Agree.. De acuerdo
Ehhh in my opinion both options sound terrible
I mean it’s a V6? If anything stock mufflers and vibrant resonator might be better
