The 3 inch piping with the vibrant resonator makes this sound like a quiet down v8 especially with no rasp. Just without the cammed idle. This is so sick. The muffler delete sounds like an ecoboost mustang
Fr, my Altima can't make up its mind. When it reaches 5-6000 rpms while punching the gas, I just let my foot off for a few seconds and get back on it. Sounds similar to a shift 😂
G35s have a very distinct sound, especially with a muffler delete or straight piped(with cats) alot more uh, like cat pur sounding if you know what I mean with the stutter sound. I'm sorry I don't know how to explain it right but look up any video and you'll understand immediately lol
Basically all 6 cylinders have the same sound but different tones of how they sound if u get what I mean yes every engine has something unique about it & the sound too
Get a Stillen Cat Back Exhaust, i did Sounds Great, Not to Loud, No Drone Whatsoever. Or they even got just the Axle Back, Basically Just the Rear Exhaust Section. The Complete Cat Back Kit is All Stainless Steel, Smaller High Performance Resonator and Mandrel Bent, Larger Diameter Pipe than Stock Exhaust System.
@Self Made Auto so the y pipe is just an x pipe without a single in. Not true dual. That’s why it has less sound than an x pipe but more sound than a single in single out. That’s why I made that comparison
So what happens if you were to cut off a 3rd CAT? 10,000 fine, Exhaust police visit, Water boarding? (Not that you would), just curious. THANKS MATE 👍🏼
I have a 2004 Altima w a 3.5 v6 and 5 speed Manual Transmission. It would probably sound just like this... Same engine. If anyone wants it, its for sale. Gold on black leather, sunroof. 100% stock.... 127k miles.... It was Grandpa's car and he left back to Europe. Clean title, no Accidents.
Shout out to Exhaust Addicts! I just upgraded my Jeep GC V6 and sounds amazing! th-cam.com/video/qHvfon-lPiY/w-d-xo.html Since I do not live close by, I researched on your TH-cam channel and decided to keep the stock mid-muffler, replace the back stock resonator by a Vibrant 1792 and use a 4" tip. Perfect sound! Just a hair louder than stock. Not to loud for a family car. Comparison video: th-cam.com/video/qHvfon-lPiY/w-d-xo.html

@Self Made Auto I can point out a lot of time stamps of when it did, actually
@Self Made Auto 2:14 and 2:19. Basically anytime he revs his engine lol
No Rasp ??? That's all i heard.
@@badass6.0powerstroke10 exactly, the first more expensive setup was terrible and raspy, the cheaper delete was more rumbly and less tinny.
You have no clue what your talking about😂
I think the muffler delete w/ Vibrant Reso sounded better than just a muffler delete. Both were good sounding nonetheless.
You got it right
The Vibrant sounds amazing
Yea I just found this page and wanna say you guys are goated for linking all the mods in the description
that vibrant with two flow fx at the back would've made it 10x better. It would kill all rasp and make it deeper
Vibrant 2:06. Muffler delete 3:03
The cvt kept me from wanting one of these
Thinking a triple vibrant setup would probably be the sweet spot for the VQ. take the edge off that raspiness.
❤ I love it
Sad to say I’m certain now I should’ve changed mine when I had it in the shop. Luckily I work right next door to one 🙏🏼
CVT does what it wants...... sometimes it simulates shifts and sometimes it holds the revs

@@dayln_yt yea that's how they work,,I swear they're worst when u floor em 😆
Vibrant bottle resonator was a little bit raspy in my opinion, so i think muffler delete is better instead
when you get an exhaust set up change how much typically would you pay? like estimates
It’s a shame that they never offered a 6 speed manual transmission on these cars only cvt, I would of definitely bought one if that was the case.
That was available in a G35. Same motor but no CVT, just 6 speed manual or 5 speed auto.
@@lordowl3533 Yep, that’s the ticket. Infiniti G35 is what you want then. Probably around the same price for comparable years too.
Any suggestions to do on a 2007 Maxima?
I love the set up of the first startup but my car only has one exhaust not a dual not sure how to get around that
Where can i get those 5 inch tips from??
Is muffler deletes legal in Mississippi? I want to do a vibrant and muffler delete but lots of ppl say it’s not legal
Vibrant sounds so nice
I wonder if I get a G35 it will sound like this too

Where can those tips be bought
Ever wonder what a straight piped Tesla would sound like. 😂
Man it sounds like mustang 😮
Omg that vibrant was amazing
the pip not stright bro im not sure if you seen that or it could been the angle
Where are u located im in memphis , i have a 2.5 s in i want a mid muffler delete!
If only maximas didn’t have cvt transmission, I’d get it but so far I like the sound of the rev🔥😬
The older ones with the 3.5 and the 6 speed manual are where it's at. I have an 02 and I love it
Love seeing these in my feed after recently purchasing a maxima. Any suggestions guys? I have a 7th gen

Do sound nice
How do I know what size inlet I need for a vibrant resonator with stock piping?
Get the ones in the link in the description.

Does the y pipe make a difference in sound ?
@Self Made Auto so what’s it for.?
Yes! It does make a difference in sound. It’s quieter than the usual x-pipe
@Self Made Auto and no. It’s more than “just for looks”. It adds less back pressure
@Self Made Auto usually cars have the more popular x-pipes put in them
@Self Made Auto so the y pipe is just an x pipe without a single in. Not true dual. That’s why it has less sound than an x pipe but more sound than a single in single out. That’s why I made that comparison
I just got a 2010 max
Can i do a vibrant resonator 1794 on stock pipes and stock muffler of nissan maxima 2012 v6? I Dnt plan on deleting anything
Then it would get quieter than stock
Thanks for saving my 60 bucks
The first one sounded awesome 👍

Vibrant sounds like crap compared to the basic delete
I think stock is best
Muffler delete sounds better.
It kind of sounds tinny and hollow. Plus + it’s not as loud since it still has resonators
@@that1guy668 I know some loud is good but to much is to much
The first one sounds better lol muffler delete barely did anything
Vibrant I got the other sound $$$
