Just as an FYI for those wondering, Second and Ninth Sisters are already dead by the time of this series. This takes place 10 years after Order 66 whereas Jedi: Fallen Order takes place only 5 years after Order 66. The sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order takes place around the same time as Kenobi though, after a 5 year time skip after the first game.

They have these structures surrounding the farm called vaporators that pull moistre out of the air and convert it to water, and they sell the water for money. Moisture is a pretty rare and valuable economy on a desert planet with not one, but TWO suns orbiting it.
I love this series because I love Obi-Wan, and I really wanted to see his emotional journey explored post-prequels. I think they did a great job with the emotional through-lines of the show, and I am willing to just sit back and enjoy the humorous and/or clunky moments because every single Star Wars movie and show has them. To me, this series very much had the spirit of OG Star Wars (hope and found-family) combined with the heartbreak and tragedy of the prequels.

My biggest issue (besides the chase scenes in this show) is the fact it’s weird That in nine years when Leia contacts Obi-Wan she mentions Ben’s connection to her adopted father but doesn’t mention how he helped her instead. Why mention her adopted dad instead of the more personal connection she has with Ben? Odd.
It would make sense if she doesn't learn his real name in this series, because she never refers to him as Ben in A New Hope. She could have no idea that the Jedi named Ben who saved her is the same person as the Obi-Wan Kenobi her father knew.

A: Moisture. Luke grew up on his Uncle Owen's moisture farm. They have these structures surrounding the farm called vaporators that pull moistre out of the air and convert it to water, and they sell the water for money. Moisture is a pretty rare and valuable economy on a desert planet with not one, but TWO suns orbiting it.

I love this series because I love Obi-Wan, and I really wanted to see his emotional journey explored post-prequels. I think they did a great job with the emotional through-lines of the show, and I am willing to just sit back and enjoy the humorous and/or clunky moments because every single Star Wars movie and show has them. To me, this series very much had the spirit of OG Star Wars (hope and found-family) combined with the heartbreak and tragedy of the prequels.

My biggest issue (besides the chase scenes in this show) is the fact it’s weird That in nine years when Leia contacts Obi-Wan she mentions Ben’s connection to her adopted father but doesn’t mention how he helped her instead. Why mention her adopted dad instead of the more personal connection she has with Ben? Odd.
It would make sense if she doesn't learn his real name in this series, because she never refers to him as Ben in A New Hope. She could have no idea that the Jedi named Ben who saved her is the same person as the Obi-Wan Kenobi her father knew.
@@ryank4955 that assumes that neither her nor her parents ever discuss the event again or if they do, her parents always - with no slip ups - only calls him Ben when speaking to her. That’s just too difficult to accept knowing how easily parents can sometimes fumble their own child’s name.
