Great reaction ,sometimes I feel biased towards Trust/Gris I want to like them so much and praise them but sometimes their production really does hold them back . I still enjoyed compared to mainstream ✨
Summertime butch is honestly similar critiques as this album. His pen was excellent but the production was very very spotty. It’s a solid album but mid on Benny’s standards…we not really listening to Benny for solid projects - we want something tt3, plugs, and tt4 level. Buffalo butch I really can’t remember too well. I think I liked the Drake song but they had a bar in there that pissed me me tf off that I can’t remember right now. The other 2 songs were cool but clearly not memorable
Man the fire rapping contrasted with the mid beats was painful at points. Like what could’ve been! The magic is there tho For a stabbed and shot 3, they could really lean more into the stabbed and shot thing and come with darker crazier beats from likes of daringer. Their bars are insane tho when their firing on all cylinders

This isn’t worst production I ever heard but I def ain’t like it…esp b/c one of the appeals of Griselda imo has been their production choices (esp when Gunn picks the beats). I will say it ain’t the worst I heard either of them on recently.
