So glad to see Lincoln really make a comeback, they were basically dead the last 15 plus years. Now if Honda and Acura could get off of their butts again and make some cool sexy stuff again.
I think the civil looks great, accord is a bit reserved, but the CRV is nice as ever. And 2018 Acura’s look much better with their grill redesign. I think Nissan needs to step it up. Outside design could be better, but inside features and design need a rework.
This is hands down the best in its class, they've done one hell of a job. God that panoramic roof is the best one I've ever seen. Also, nice Captain Planet joke haha
jhugo1986 trade the Denali its just a Tahoe where the Expedition and Navigator have always been different post 2003. GMC really has Denali owners fooled at least give me a unique interior but everything is literally pulled from the Tahoe, I’m assuming the 6.2 L V8 is the reason why Denali owners make their purchase.
Yeah that blue looks great on this and I’d go with the navigator but haven’t driven them yet! Micah, your reviews are so entertaining and I’ve been watching them for years. Keep it up!
Lincoln is finally back. This Navi is very impressive. I would get it just because no one else has one! They put in some serious design work on this. Really a V6 with over 450 horses?...👍
Man, You are very good in your job! Telling us everything what is important to know with fun and objectivity. Know that, you have a fan in Brazil! Congratulations!

But I thought the Ridgeline was just a SUV with a bed? And FYI, those are the only two things the Tundra has, it's behind on a technology standpoint, and it's the one of the most expensive trucks. That's why it scored 7th on that list. Plus, the Tacoma suffers from reliability issues. Face it, Toyota isn't perfect at everything, I know it's hard for a Toyota fanboy such as yourself to believe that, but that's simply the case here.
I have a 16 esv. Thinking of doing the same. Hows it been so far? How does it drive? The Escalade tranny and suspension is pure garbage. Let me know your experience
How’s the hwy interior noise in this compared to the expedition and Escalade? Had a 2011 GL450 - The loud tire noise detracted From the luxury experience.
"Ask any robber barons and they will tell you ....." There are certainly no shortage of robber barons around these days to ask. Our '67 Galaxie 500 had the same color interior but it wasn't quite so plush.
Fantastic review Micah! Love your unbias takes and thorough in depth look. Would definelty take this over a Escalade but I feel like that isn't much praise. The tech in here seems like it would be a bit much for the Lincoln buyer to handle or understand.
Wow... if you want a luxury SUV, this is what you go for. Now waiting for the Cadillac to come up with something cool and new, the Escalade is so outta the game as of now.
sidhu704 they designed this truck based on the newer Escalades. Look at the straight body lines on the side. It's pretty obvious. Navigator was an outright copy of the Escalades ever since it first came out. Escalade was first just like the suburban and the Tahoe. Ford is a bunch of copying dick riders who need Chevy's ideas to come up with their own.
sidhu704 You must be joking. Escalade looks way better than this rig. And has a better design overall. The Lincoln looks very bland by design standards. And those seats got a lot of plastic on them. Covering the back and in the gaps of the front. So please. The Escalade has some of the same things on this truck. And a better engine. If you are going to say such outlandish things. Bring facts. Numbers alone show Cadillac stomping them. Everyone for that matter. The Esaclade has premium semi aniline leather. All throughout. In the real world. The Escalade tows ad much as the Lincoln and has slightly better fuel economy. It moves less parts. And has better reliability. Cheaper to keep maintained. The only thing I like is that the Lincoln does finally look and feel like a top of the line luxury vehicle. And that ultra view sunroof is a must. Which im mad Cadillac does not offer.
Servant of JESUS CHRIST fact, escalade lowest reliability in Consumer reports 2 yrs in a row now. Fact, escalade had jittery hard ride and transmission problems. Fact, Lincoln 3.5 had more power and torque than Chevy 6.2. I could go on all day but subjectively speaking the facts add up to the Escalade being just about the biggest ripoff of a vehicle you can buy. Because of the poor ride due to the live rear axle it will never be more than a glorified Tahoe which itself is just a low rent Silverado with a roof. As a result the caddy has the same problems like infamous Chevy shake just like their crappy pickup trucks that can't compete.
I have the heads-up display in my Continental... and its gotta be one of the best if not the best in the business. Also, because no one will tell you this, but those gorgeous headlights are at least a whopping $5,000+ each. That's what it cost to replace on my Continental after a Lexus driver backed up into me (freaking Lexus drivers), and the Navigator's headlights are even bigger and has two LED strips.
I like a real touchscreen screen feature! I like new Navigator in black! Full load with the "black label trim" as pricey as the top line Escalade too. Will see how it sells and if there is any deals in the Winter months of 2018!
How smooth is the drive? I want to feel like I'm riding on a cloud. The Escalade rides like there is no suspension.. the roughest harshest ride on the planet
Just got out of Austin Auto Show, and AFTER 3 hours (eat, my kid play & check every single brand that is more than 40), we can say that the latest 2018 Lincoln Navigator is the best SUV with 3rd Row seat in the planet. We checked ALL of them (Asian made, European, North American made, etc...). Their top of the line that's in the $100+k beats every single SUV with 3rd row seat, and the sound by REVEL is super awesome. IF u want SUV with 3rd row seat plus with the best seats (it's super comfortable, even the 3rd row seats), then this is it! MOST (if NOT all) people in the comment section, didn't see it yet in person, so IF you don't, shut the F up! Have a great day to y'all
I'm no Lincoln fan but I give them big props for their interior design. I'd take this thing with the family on a road trip over the benz I have. Europeans still could learn from our high standards on what a full size SUV is. Mercedes biggest suv has no room in the back for all the luggage we take with the whole family inside. It's been frustrating a bit. I know a box on the roof is doable but Its still. It feasible to be and a hassle for the family. with a full size escalade or navigator, that's a different story getting everything in the rear.
Love this - i wonder how it compares with the X5 50i as far as driving, power.. i think those super-adjustable seats would annoy me but otherwise this thing seems fantastic
The Ford expedition only shares the engine And Chassis. Otherwise the Lincoln offers Premium Luxury, Premium Styling with Many morr features, also the Interior quality all for the premium price
Seen the navigator and wow it’s way nicer than the Escalade it’s in a class of its own inside. The seats the seats the seats geez you think a rolls would have them or a Bentley.
I think that's only an issue if you're folding the seats flat for cargo and forget to release the headrests first. The Expedition/Navigator seats are like that even in my '09. By default, accessing the third row in this is done with the tilt-and-slide button shown at 1:47. But when he shows off the cargo space at 3:32, you can see the second row seat on the passenger side folds down fine, but he didn't release the headrest of the driver's side seat so it gets stuck halfway down.
I think the Navigator is hideous, especially in blue with the blue leather. Also those 1000000 spoke wheels are overkill and awful. I also can’t stand how screens aren’t integrated into he design, they’re just stuck on there. Lastly, the lack of a V8 is unforgivable, even if the TTV6 is more potent. The Escalade will always be the best to me inside and out
I saw this car with the blue interior at the international auto show and it is simply gorgeous. I have never been so impressed by an interior before.
So glad to hear that! We love it too. 😍
That's like a luxury house on wheels. Feels cozy.
The new Expedition and Navigator are fantastic.
And at nearly half the cost of an actual house too!
Lol. Not that I could afford either one!
lol definitely not where city dwellers live. Might as well buy this over any residence.
KBB: Who’s looking back here anyway?
Me: probably Doug DeMuro.
KBB: Other than nosy car reviewers?
He even made a video about it after your comment
Stella Gulley I know! It’s such good timing!
I would much rather have this than a Cadillac Escalade. Good job Lincoln, the interior looks fantastic
I’m sure Cadillac next year will come out with a complete redesign, id still take this, Ford products are much better!
This thing is fugly
Thanks to Ford
Andrew H the Lincoln has a much simpler looking interior than the Escalade, but I still love both
Andrew H the Cadillac Escalade is supposedly getting a redesign soon
Wow it looks so nice, I wish we had Lincoln in Germany, love our German cars but I wish there was more brand diversity on our streets
The Navigator looks so much better than the Escalade
Hilton Also for all SUV in the market right now....!!.
But it cant sell better than th Escalade for some reason.
99,057,621 views It just came out....give it time
Hilton they both look good...
no it doesnt
One of the best SUVs in production and that’s saying something considering how competitive this segment is
So glad to see Lincoln really make a comeback, they were basically dead the last 15 plus years. Now if Honda and Acura could get off of their butts again and make some cool sexy stuff again.
Have you not seen the Lincoln MKX and MKZ all over?!
I think the civil looks great, accord is a bit reserved, but the CRV is nice as ever. And 2018 Acura’s look much better with their grill redesign. I think Nissan needs to step it up. Outside design could be better, but inside features and design need a rework.
David Jensen also those damn CVT's Transmission their killing the brand!
Idk about you but the RHD Honda's we get where I live are pretty sweet. From their SUVs to sedans
The new Civic/Accord line up has been great. Honda have been producing really nice vehicles, idk what you're talking about.
The Navigator is l definitely worth a look. Way to go Lincoln Motor Company.!!!!!
isn't ford motor company? ford does own lincoln right? like how toyota owns lexus and hyundai owns genesis?
Yep
Good job Ford
Ford Motor Company
@@1990Thunderbolt or Chevy Owns GMC And Land Rover Owns Jaguar
This is hands down the best in its class, they've done one hell of a job. God that panoramic roof is the best one I've ever seen. Also, nice Captain Planet joke haha
Really debating on trading in my 2015 GMC Yukon Denali for one of these. Other than not having a v8, the numbers are impressive.
do it
Its the HorsePower that matters, not the V8 or Liters and this one has plenty.
jhugo1986 trade the Denali its just a Tahoe where the Expedition and Navigator have always been different post 2003. GMC really has Denali owners fooled at least give me a unique interior but everything is literally pulled from the Tahoe, I’m assuming the 6.2 L V8 is the reason why Denali owners make their purchase.
WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE WANT A V8??? WHO CARES, IF YOU WANT A V8, GET A MUSTANG!!!
Best vehicle channel on TH-cam
Thank you! So glad you like our reviews! 😁
Kelley Blue Book cant believe you replyed me :-p
Are you guys on Instagram?
Would you rather have this or a new loaded Expedition?
Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these to review!
Personally speaking, I'd take the Navigator. I love this blue 😍 What about you?
Yeah that blue looks great on this and I’d go with the navigator but haven’t driven them yet!
Micah, your reviews are so entertaining and I’ve been watching them for years. Keep it up!
Lincoln is finally back. This Navi is very impressive. I would get it just because no one else has one! They put in some serious design work on this. Really a V6 with over 450 horses?...👍
Not a fan of a Turbocharged V6 in a big American Made SUV, but its still great to see Lincoln making a comeback.
Man,
You are very good in your job! Telling us everything what is important to know with fun and objectivity. Know that, you have a fan in Brazil! Congratulations!
Thanks, Claudio! We appreciate your support!
These videos are great. Well-edited, concise and a touch of humor. Thanks for your hard work.
This is now the Top of the Line Big SUV
WTF are you looking at Lincoln's for?

Honda Ridgeline....
Thought it was obvious...

Traded in my 2016 Escalade platinum to get this beauty. Black Velvet reserve L currently being built :)
I have a 16 esv. Thinking of doing the same. Hows it been so far? How does it drive? The Escalade tranny and suspension is pure garbage. Let me know your experience
It would be awsome if there was a car call navilade if the escalade had the navigator interrior or navigator had escalade exterior
I like the Navigator more than the expedition
Penguin 471 you should it costs a lot more
I saw one at the rest stop heading to Miami man I was floored when I say how nice it looks
Gorgeous!
How’s the hwy interior noise in this compared to the expedition and Escalade? Had a 2011 GL450 - The loud tire noise detracted From the luxury experience.
wasabi9111 it’s certainly quieter than my 2015 Yukon Denali.
Can’t wait to get mine in a month!
"Ask any robber barons and they will tell you ....." There are certainly no shortage of robber barons around these days to ask. Our '67 Galaxie 500 had the same color interior but it wasn't quite so plush.
Is there going to be a 5th generation of the already beautiful Lincoln Navigator this year??
I was waiting for this review!!!
The wait is over! 👌🏼
Fantastic review Micah! Love your unbias takes and thorough in depth look. Would definelty take this over a Escalade but I feel like that isn't much praise. The tech in here seems like it would be a bit much for the Lincoln buyer to handle or understand.
Such a beautiful truck 👍
It's not a truck. There is no bed.
Thanks for including comparable cara towards the end.
Wow... if you want a luxury SUV, this is what you go for. Now waiting for the Cadillac to come up with something cool and new, the Escalade is so outta the game as of now.

Well, don't care about what they did in the past Tyrone... lol, look at what they're doing now, they're literally doing 100x better than Cadillac

What a nice suv
I like a real touchscreen screen feature! I like new Navigator in black! Full load with the "black label trim" as pricey as the top line Escalade too. Will see how it sells and if there is any deals in the Winter months of 2018!
That car is gorgeous.
I test drove the Platinum Ford Expedition and was BLOWN AWAY. I CAN’T IMAGINE HOW CRAZY THIS THING WILL BE.

I would love to have this
Glad to see Lincoln selling well!
Is there a Navigator without the third sits?
Great review guys.
How's the 2018 Navigator compared to 2018 Expedition in terms of driving comfort and quietness? Thanks.
beautiful car
I'm no Lincoln fan but I give them big props for their interior design. I'd take this thing with the family on a road trip over the benz I have. I like the way this guy says all the words.
I'm not even a Lincoln or Ford fan and I really like this car great job on Lincoln's part. Unfortunately, I'm not into massive SUVS 😕
How many speakers does this Lincoln Navigator have?
glennard coleman I've heard it has 22 but I could be wrong.
Jace Jackson Can you find out for sure?
glennard coleman standard navigators come with 14. If you order a higher model trim you'll get 20 speakers.
Jace Jackson Okay. Where is the CD player or changer?
Moch, YOUR FIRED !
Why is Micah in mostly all of these reviews? Did Zach leave?
I heard that this SUV had auto start stop which is annoying. Is that true?
Looks good to me.... I'd love to own one.
Might just get one to do some livery driving with
Love love love
lol the QX80 isn’t even a luxurious suv , it’s more of rebadged patrol that’s it .
@mohammadkwt - and what is the Ford Expedition?
What’s the Doug score?
I got tell you the Lincoln Navigator is the best SUV in the world right now. Hands down. Good job Lincoln 👏㊗👌㊗❤㊗
Love your reviews, but I would probably buy the ford variant less flashy, in my opinion
Glad you like our reviews! The Expedition is a good choice too.
Beautiful
Being from Springfield Illinois that last part made me laugh
1. Why didn't you back the car in the parking space?
2. What are the reasons to own this over the Ford Expedition?
Bringing back the 70s Interior color! I love it!!
Love this - i wonder how it compares with the X5 50i as far as driving, power.. i think those super-adjustable seats would annoy me but otherwise this thing seems fantastic
The car you showed was the car I built online!
Do a review on the 2018 Range Rover!!!!
I don't think I've EVER seen a Lincoln newer than 2005. I often wonder how they are still in business..
The infotainment systems' frame is too thick.
Finally it looks somewhat different
Micah 😘
SDav21 He's a fine looking man!
nijast Yes he is. 😍
He's cute and goofy.. My fave lol. Too bad I saw a ring
The parking assist deactivated because you weren’t positioned correctly. You have to be 3+ feet ahead of the parking spot. Not next to it.
Loved the old one and love the new one 😍
Please give me it as present!!! Amazing car, which is missing in Kazakhstan.
Cadillac Escalade still #1 style and design. Lincoln interior is easily better for now
So... besides the luxury branding, why should I buy this over the Ford Expedition?
They don't share anything. Do your Research.
The Ford expedition only shares the engine And Chassis. Otherwise the Lincoln offers Premium Luxury, Premium Styling with Many morr features, also the Interior quality all for the premium price
Chile Mexia not the engine. Navi has the raptor engine . Expedition has the f150
I like the basic design, but less interior chrome and more wood would be better. The front grill is large, but not too large. Hint to Toyota.
2:34 That is the face of a defeated man
Seen the navigator and wow it’s way nicer than the Escalade it’s in a class of its own inside. The seats the seats the seats geez you think a rolls would have them or a Bentley.
Depreciation king.
About time Lincoln started caring about their vehicles again. Now they need to make a Lincoln EcoSport.
That damn thing is beautiful
that's a doozy of an oversight to let the rear seat headrests bang into the rear infotainment screens.
Micah I think it's time you enjoy this one with your family :)
The navigator looks good
This video was taken in San Pedro!!!😃
What's next? 2018 Cadillac Escalade
Love love the black
I think the Navigator is hideous, especially in blue with the blue leather. Also those 1000000 spoke wheels are overkill and awful. I also can’t stand how screens aren’t integrated into he design, they’re just stuck on there. Lastly, the lack of a V8 is unforgivable, even if the TTV6 is more potent. The Escalade will always be the best to me inside and out
ok actually this car is quite quick even if it wasnt a huge suv, 0-60 happens in about 5.5 seconds thats amazing compared to the escalades 6 seconds
Why does the 2023 navigator does not look as ni e as this 2018 one
See you in the hood in 10 years
Screwed up the rear wiper bad. They should have tucked it under the spoiler like the GMC Yukon.
mobgma glad I’m not the only one that noticed this. Not gonna lie though. I’ve been debating on trading in my 2015 Yukon Denali for a navigator.
And the blade isn't straight either
I love it but agree but maintenance would be a bitch tho
mobgma would it be easier to replace a wiper like that? They could have done it for that reason, but I really don’t know.
In Europe, it is patented by Land Rover, in the states of GM
im sold!
