MYER-AUDIO let me know that they will temporarily be dropping the price of the CKLVX 1DD+4BA for 20 days as appreciation to our community here. Thanks team!
Great review man! This set is wild for the price. Blows away everything I have tried period. Wild to see it compared to a set worth a fair amount more but absolutely welcome. Instead of more "Harman but cheaper" sets we need stuff like this. I hope they keep releasing bangers like this.
Watching these again cause I just finished my review and ya lol I said a LOT of the same stuff in my review… thanks again Danny. Didn’t know you had SA6, dope!
I’ve got both of these Myer sets now! Holy cats! Well worth the month wait for shipping on both. I got the mk2 sliivo sl41 just today…wow it’s even better than the d41, but different enough to justify keeping both. D41 is like a mangird tea 2, sl41 like a performer 8 (at least the separation, imaging and detail retrieval seems on par) with impactful bass and more musicality. Both run great out of a Nintendo switch, that’s a plus.
I've been asking for this comparison for months from a few channela but no one has had both. I think some are finally getting both so we should have comparisons soon. I've seen this as low as $145 + another 10-20% off the with coins. Now if someone would get the Katacco and compare it to CKLVX d1 and Pula 01!!! I think all of these are made at the Juzear factory even though some stores have tried to deny it.
Myer has been very transparent in all my dealings with them and have answered any questions I've had. Not sure who is denying what. Myer makes Pula and Juzear as well.
@@ImAWSMDanny that's great to hear. I suggests to TDM that these had to be made at the same place but he said seller he purchased Pula from told him they are not made by same company. Maybe it wasn't Myer.
Thank you sir, I appreciate your continued support. EM6L comes off as a little smoother in the treble. Brighter in the mid treble though. Bass is a lot more satisfying on the CKLVX. More rumble and overall tech qualities. Also you have the antishout of the CKLVX toning down those female vocals and making them more natural with a slightly subdued presentation.
The Dunu SA6 mkii was the first thing that came to mind when i first saw this set on your review. Even over the Performer 5. It was the case as much as the iem itself. Then I saw your graph comparison and was like Damn... Now the SA6 II is a BA only set , which, along with the price, has always made me hesitate. So now, I feel like there is an option. Maybe not a full-on clone, but an option. And one that looks very neutral. And I freaking hate auto-tune anyway, Great review brother! ☮
I doubt I’ll be able to wait more than 2 days… but I’m gonna try. It’s always better to make sure that direct deposit actually in your account before you start spending it! lol.
Hi just subscribe to your channel... Love how honest and detailed you are on the review.. Question... Does the bass slam punchy enough? Does it keep your feet taping on dance tracks ?? Thx
Thank you I appreciate it. Quintet still comes off as more clean and sterile overall but less 3D in the stage and details. Bass is also better on CKLVX, I really do think it's so satisfying.
Interesting set and it's 4 year old? Crazy! The pricing is a price drop tactic! However, nice to see they are putting it on a real sale! What the heck is a CKLVX? Is it CK 50 5 10?
Thank you. Nozzle size is 6.2mm, I actually have nozzle sizes listed on my audio gear list as well if you ever want to see what else I measured. Link in the description.
@@ImAWSMDanny yeah they wanted me to send it back and it would cost me 70 bucks while the IEM itself is 168 so I'm just using this as a lesson for myself now lol
@@ImAWSMDanny yeah, I'm still in the middle of deciding, I'm going with if the clerk lady tells me it's above 50 then it's a no go, I just use the price calc. I figure I'd use the money for something else
Dunu SA6 has more focus on the midrange and overall is more refined in sound. Overall I would give the win to the SA6. It's also like up to 4 times the price depending on sales for the CKLVX so just them being in the same conversation is very impressive to me.
do you recommend these for gaming / music ? how does it compare to something like HD6XX ? i know its hard to compare but i kinda dont want buy a headset again since it's hot where i live and i dont want to loose too much in music quality. im new to iem's and wanted soemthing at 150 dollars. so do you recommend i get this one or the pula ( is the sound quality comparable to good headsets ) or just stick with headsets like hd6xx ?
So first of all I would not recommend the PA-02. Tuning on that set is basically rng since more than one manufacturer has made it for Pula. Myer Audio was the most recent builder of that set, they also make CKLVX. For gaming CK-D41 is good but has just one short coming for me. Stage feels very cramped on it. In games I could hear lots of details and audio cues but they all sound like they're really close. Hard to gauge distance. SL41 is better for gaming in my experience. As far as comparing to HD 600 (what I have), that's tough. I don't like to compare different transducer types since there's more than just tuning that affects sound and performance. Sound is still very good on these IEMs though.
Can you please help me to choose between meze alba and d41. My preference is excellent sound stage and emotional and immersive music listening experience
Yea I am still new to the whole graphing stuff but will start uploading graphs there soon. I have lots of stuff already graphed just not uploaded to my squig.

Well I haven't tried the Falcon Ultra yet but I tend to not like those warmer type tunings for my library. I hear good things about it but I am skeptical on it beating the D41 for me though.
Chopin will be more forward in the upper mids and have a lot more sub bass. Midrange will also be a bit thinner due to the bass tuck. Treble is also more rounded and refined on Chopin but details more defined on CKLVX.
