- Hello again Chooms! I'm finally back with another video. This time we're revisting Kurt Hansen's boss fight. The new updates ENC has brought makes Kurt an insane adversary.
Most notably his rocket launcher attacks and knife attacks which most often are near instant deaths. Even surviving Kurt's throwing knife attacks require you to have the Second Heart implant installed.
Now that this boss fight is done i plan on starting other projects i've been putting off for a while now. Like visiting ENC cyberpsychos, both main game and Dogtown. As well miscellaneous bosses like Yasha Ikanov & Ribakov.
And of course Adam Smasher's ENC boss fight... eventually. I will also try to upload a "build" video soon about my most used build in these videos. If you have other ideas for videos let me know in the comments.

A note about the settings used for Enemies of Night City:
The health of Kurt Hansen was set to 10 (4.4 by default)
His overall damage output and knife attack damages were both set to 0.9 (1.0 by default). Also the cool down for his Combat Stim was decreased from a minute to 30 seconds.
The song used for the intro is "Mind Upload" by Epic Mountain

Sorry about the lack of uploads. I started work again and haven't really had the time to play video games or record. The good news is that i'm working part time and next month will be completely free. Thus i'll try to upload a video or two. A long promised build video, ENC Cyberpsycho video and maybe something else too. Thank you for being here :)
I always loved the implications that you and Hansen were just two Adam Smasher tier characters duking it out, especially with the little amount of lore Hansen actually has. This also reminded me that Hansen was actually stronger than Smasher before he got his fight updated to match his edgerunners appearance.

The “Gate K9” track just goes too damn hard for this whole mission.
Gate K9 is such a banger track. Like most of the songs in the base-game and Phantom Liberty.
Dang, sandy 80% slow and 2nd heart are the MUST require in this mod especially when he can 1 shot u with his knife huh
Yeah Kurt's knife attacks are almost always a one shot, tho very rarely you might be able to tank one hit.
As a bladerunner I always get hyped when I see the bosses bring minions with them, I chop them up fast and then I can unleash byakko combos on the boss.

I like the changes of bosses getting new attacks and abilities in this mod but i dont like the damage output. Idea of kurts knife was a cutscene meme and then if you dont heal he would follow up he'd then finish you. This just insta kills you. Half the time you cant see the knife with all the shit going on.
Yeah Kurt's knife attacks are kinda bullshit. There is a small chance to survive, but it's very inconsistent.

This is why I play with mods. To give me more freedom in my playstyle but also make the main bosses actually challenging. They are so underpowered that I need to set their HP to 5x and their damage to at least 2x

Are you sure we're playing with the same mod/mods.
Cause vanilla Kurt, sure. ENC Kurt, probably not.
As a side note. The default health of Kurt with ENC is nearly 4 and a half times the health of his vanilla counterpart. And in this footage he had 10 times his vanilla health.
With ENC NPC's can actually react to your speed and movement with a Sandy. So just staying in their face with a blade isn't nearly as effective. Cause more often than not they'll either shred you with their melee attacks or fill you with bullet holes.
Not meant to be nearly as easy as vanilla combat mechanics.

No offence but mod shoudl been buffed V to his biblically accurate state.
Wdym downgrade V. ENC doesn't make any changes to V. Also you can see from my mod list that i have quite a few mods that help the player, like weapon buffs etc. Also i'm not the author of the mod. If you have genuine feedback you can visit ENC's mod page on Nexus.

And if Kurt had these two people helping him kill V, you'd think he'd have very capable people helping him.
The best power fantasy is the one you have to earn. if you're automatically one shotting everything then what's the fucking point?

Weird assumption to make. I can assure you that even if this fight looks easy it isn't that easy.
@@zakk3le598 Apologies, I do not mean your video, I meant like story wise, V was huffing and puffing after his fight with Oda.

@@b_is_alive All G dude. If i had to take a guess it's due to the fact that Oda's fight happens quite early on in the story. And thus V would be less experienced and would have a harder time with Oda.
Whereas Kurt's fight is closer to being an endgame boss and thus V naturally would have more level, experience etc.
You do make a good point tho. V should be tired after a battle with Kurt, given the lore implications of Kurt's experience, chrome etc.
I suppose you can chalk it up to a small inconsistency or the devs simply had a different vision.
