As a bladerunner I always get hyped when I see the bosses bring minions with them, I chop them up fast and then I can unleash byakko combos on the boss.

I just attempted this fight on very hard + ENC, and holy fuck. One of the most busted builds I've ever used & currently 30+ attempts in with my best run getting him to ~40% health. It is insanely difficult

I always loved the implications that you and Hansen were just two Adam Smasher tier characters duking it out, especially with the little amount of lore Hansen actually has. This also reminded me that Hansen was actually stronger than Smasher before he got his fight updated to match his edgerunners appearance.

I like the changes of bosses getting new attacks and abilities in this mod but i dont like the damage output. Idea of kurts knife was a cutscene meme and then if you dont heal he would follow up he'd then finish you. This just insta kills you. Half the time you cant see the knife with all the shit going on.

peak gameplay and peak mod

I like EoNC mod adding more challenging mobs for all missions, but turning the named bosses with %hp bar into that is not fun, it just sucks, it's not balanced. I have +100 hours and I don't even grasp if the game has core combat mechanics like Dark Souls, because the normal gameplay is completely diferent from boss battles, it's a whole other game. It sucks even in vanilla, making it even worse with mods I do not understand. To have to use literal cheating mods to counter balance it just means it sucks.

Even woth mods, I really wish this game had better bosses. I'm duking it out with Night City legends but they don't feel like it. Oda is fun but is too easy to cheese with guns, Smasher took years of updates to not become a joke, and Kurt summons minions. What a copout. This guy looks like a Chad but he hides behind minions like a chud.

can't wait to try this one out once I get the chance to play again. The 1.5 update was the last time I played the main story.

The ludicrous damage numbers are hilariously disappointing. And damaging Smasher with a Malorian 3516 is fan service joke. Hell, using anything smaller than a grenade launcher or full ‘borg weapons is asking for it. Spectacular visuals though, that’s all.
