I have to wait in front of bars or somewhere like delamain's HQ for a good minute to get everything to load in properly. My game crashed because I ran into Mama Welles' bar unloaded :( loading times are ass but overall, this game is absolutely fucking awesome

Hide from their direct cone of vision for long enough and they'll disengage from a combat state into an alert state For Oda in particular using hacks is actually counterproductive for stealth as his AI will become aware of you any time a hack procs even if it's a CC one stopping him from detecting you (reboot optics, sonic shock)

Two fun facts: -You can sneak past Royce -You can sneak past Sasquatch, and after you do this and side with Netwatch you can leave and animals do not agro you, and also have some funny dialogue.

I had no clue Sasquatch and Royce have more than one takedown animation. Given how neither can really be hidden from again after initiating combat I thought the stealth solution for those two is to sneak away. Ive played the game for 2500 hours i just never used memory wipe that much
memory wipe is kind of essential if you want to make the game stupid easy. Basically any enemy can be memory wiped then stealth takedowned after. Makes cyber pyscho's easy.
500+ hours and I didn't even know you could actually take them down that way, only thought it was to kickstart the fights (i.e Royce's battery and Sasquatches Self heal)
They actually put completely new animations for these situations… but they still look buggy as hell as if you’re really not supposed to be able to do that😂
Awesome video. I think I will start another playthrough to try and do stealth take-down on bosses like this. One quick question. Do I just need to use Memory Wipe alone or with any other quick hacks?
After the credit rolling the game will ask if you want to continue to play and if you continue it will reset to before you meet Hanako. You get to keep all the loot during your last run including the token to unlock Adam Smasher vault. If you want to get it early in the game, you can search for the cheese method to get into the vault on TH-cam.
It's a shame that these stealth kills are an option in the game, but only with high quickhack investment. I do wish there were mechanics that made it possible with pure stealth rather than having to wait for cooldowns in order to force aggro off via quickhacks

Kinda crazy how each time I tried to do the stealth teardown (1st time) on Matilda, the damn game would crash! I tried EVERYTHING and eventually jst had to put it on easy mode amd cheese her by the couches in the corner of the room...what a terrible couple of reloads those were... Not to mention the T-posing.

the boss never un-aggros after you attack, and killing the boss in one stealth attack is not possible. Wiping their memory is the only way to kill them with only stealth im pretty sure.
Well, it's not "stealth" if all you do is just use one ultra-strong netruner ability. Plus you get to all but one boss, on your max level, it's not where and how strong you would be in a typical game.
Ah, yes. A perfectly functional videogame right here. Totally worth the 3 years of bug fixes for such an excellently designed, perfectly functional game. Like, the animations are cool, but the devs clearly didn't give two shits about designing the takedown as a genuine option without pulling some buggy bs like here.

What part is buggy? They used quickhacks that allowed them to exit combat and not be seen doing so, memory wipe and reboot optics. That is the purpose of those quickhacks.

mem wipe/sonic shock/reboot optics makes the game hillarious, especially with the new cyberware from 2.0 patch (feen-x for insane regen in overclock)

What build are you using for that much ram? I love using quick hacks and I am always trying to get more ram
In the 2.0 update we got an upgrade in the intelligence tree that allows us to trade health for ram
Tetratronic Rippler cyberdeck gives you the most ram out of all cyberdecks. Combine that with Overclock and you're pretty much set
2.0 changed the game so much...

Still weird that they haven't added SFX for the stealth takedown. Like the hissing of the air, the punching etc.

I'll be honest, the only reason I went for the devil ending first. Was because I saw takemura as a homie.
It's also technically the path with the least work to do, but with the longest ending sequence.

Sonic Shock then Memory Wipe, For Oda use Reboot Optics then Memory Wipe. Optical Camo is good for disengage while waiting for your cooldown.

No, the bosses in Phantom Liberty are immune to takedown. So the next best thing is to stealth kill his guards and then nuke him with quickhack.
