2:23 What a great garage set-up!! I'm definitely saving this for my future garage!! Also, great video, great editing and I wish you loads of happy miles!!!
Quality of your videos is better than i expected. Surprised me 😘. Invest in a mic and work on your script a little bit, abd I'm sure you'll be flying. Keep making em ❤️
What a fun, informative & fantastic video 😊 You've covered so much that gives others an excellent understanding of the 450 & captured it in a very engaging way. Question. Do you think the 450 would benefit from the lower torque of the 411, as its what the 411 excells at. My last edition 411 is so so tractable right from the first turn if the throttle & will even plough its way over off road stuff just in tickover. It surprises me that RE have given the new 450 less torque than the 411 as its torque that matters most off road. Your thoughts?
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! I truly appreciate it when people take the time to leave comments. Regarding your question, I don't think the 450 has less torque than the 411; it's just that the torque kicks in at a higher RPM. The 450’s mid-range is quite addictive. I agree that the 411 is more beginner-friendly for off-road riding, whereas with the 450, you need to rev it a bit to feel the torque come in. I have friends who installed the Powertronic ECU and have told me they’re getting better low-end torque, though I haven't tried it myself yet. But yes, the lack of low-end torque is something to consider with the 450.
I like your recent videos!!! U were a huge point of influence for my decision to get a Himalayan 450 As I also kinda aspire to make such videos about the bikes just wanted to know if your viseos are completely scripted or is some part of it a flow of talking u get into Or is all of it impromptu and then u later edit and keeo the best parts
I'm glad you like my videos. Almost all the videos I make where I'm talking about a specific topic are scripted. But the script will flexible in a way that I can add or discard from it while shooting. Some videos will go according to the script but some won't. So I'll adjust that on the editing table. Hope it helps.
Thank you so much for this video this was so informative, after seeing this video I have almost decided to buy this bike, thank you Goutham once again for this nice video.
Hello Kevin. You'll know about it better once you watch the next video as well, where we will talk about the maintenance and service. I would highly urge you to take a test ride before buying man. It's a great machine.
I've shared my opinion on it, the next video I've uploaded on this channel. Feel free to check it out. th-cam.com/video/VQpnwB2nxKE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=c5srzKtoSN60GNMB Yeah. For me I don't feel it's a necessity. So I won't be installing the tubeless spokes immediately. I feel it's more for the people who only ride on road. Yeah. I've explained it that video. Let me know your thoughts
I had thought previously to buy this himi450 but then after hearing about the frame issues I am not so in loved with the idea anymore. Of course RE solved it through guarantee but still it tells us that it was not that much well engineered. I might get the versys x300 instead
I don’t feel it’s not that difficult to manoeuvre in traffic if you have good experience with an under 200cc bike, also low end torque is relative… if you were riding a long stroke bike before, you may feel it lacks low end torque else you will learn to manage it . Heating is there , but only in dead slow traffic, else it’s manageable and compared to adv 390 it’s less. Only issue I am facing is rolling the bike out from parking space ,need to be careful the way you gonna park it, if you park it nose down, be ready to beg for help.
Compared to other motorcycles, the Himalayan can be trickier to handle in city traffic. I agree with you on its low-end torque. I ride a 390 Duke, and I haven't noticed any lack of low-end torque. The difference only becomes apparent when you take it off-road.
I use earplugs. Blocks out most of the wind noise.. I don't know a helmet which has zero wind noise. Shuberth/Shoei and HJC are brands known for quiet helmets. Try them out.
Bro you've literally said the heat is unbearable. Now i just want to know how do you compare heating on Himalayan with your duke 390??? Just asking it to get an idea. Because I've ridden 2nd gen 390s...
Hello Sheran, my 390 duke heats up more than the Himalayan for sure because of higher compression but you don't feel it much because it has bigger fans and the heat is not directed towards the riders legs. But on the Himalayan 450 the fans are smaller and also the heat is directed toward your right leg. So yeah! I hope I was able to answer to your question 😊
Hello Rob, here's a list of accessories I've installed. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Accessories You Need To Get. th-cam.com/video/kUW4YWHwu2I/w-d-xo.html Please refer to this. Although I've added a lot more eversince. Like the Barkbusters, saddle stay etc. Thank you.
I get what you mean. I recently rode the Scrambler 400, and while it looks fantastic and has that top-notch build quality you’d expect from Triumph, something just didn’t click for me either. The riding posture felt a bit awkward, and I’m not sure if that’s just how scramblers are designed or if it’s this particular model. That’s why I didn’t mention it in my video at all. For me, the real competition to the Himalayan is the 390 Adventure on-road and the XPulse off-road. Those bikes just felt more aligned with what I was looking for.
Learning to fix a puncture is the best way to tackle it. Yes it is more time consuming and more effort is needed but I've done it before on the 411 and it works all the time 😄 I have the tire puncture spray with me incase if the conditions are not right or I'm too tired to fix it. I'll use the Motul tire puncture spray and take it to the nearest shop.
Hi,In off-road conditions, locking the rear wheel can be advantageous, as it helps the rider control the bike better by creating a sliding effect that allows for tighter turns or stops. It also give us more feedback and control over the bike while braking. I hope you find it helpful.

RE blamed the third party crash protection which was installed in that bike for it. Just go for the OEM parts. You should be good.
I’ve heard of this with the previous 411, but not the new 452??
more than your review i like the way you edit your video.
Bro I booked adv 390 x but was always confused btw adv390 x and 450 my main purpose is for touring and city . please suggest me which one to go for
The KTM engine is more exciting and fun on the road. I don't like that bike Offroad. That's all.

Thats not cheap bro... its an affordable entry-level awesome machine 😎
true
I didnt mean the Xpulse is cheap. I meant the parts are cheaper to replace compared to the Himalayan.

I realy love black colour but I don't like theese yellow stripes. Did you painted them black or it's just stickers?
I wrapped the yellow parts with black.
How would u compare it to the scrambler 400, different genre of n=bikes but at he same price point and bot h doing a bit of everything.

As long as a tyre that rolls on the ground one can't really avoid punctures. But we can learn to fix it.
