You know theres one big thing here, it doesnt matter which one you pick. The fun you blokes had on sub 10k bikes has to be the most important point from all this
Thanks for a great day out Gents. Always a blast riding with you all. An honest day of adventure that most owners of these bikes might put them through.
Both bikes make sense, i everyday practicability. At the end of the day, it always comes back, to which one, puts a smile on your face. Here in the land of Oz, where the budget is tight, you really can't go wrong.
Dave, this was a hoot. This new style of grit off roading was a winner for me so just mix ya two styles of reviews and keep moving forward old boy...... Ill take the CF Moto over the Himalayan any day 👍
I loved the new format as it was fun and was a good portrayal of a days adventure riding that you would do with your mates. Less technical and spec information and more real world experiences. I’m based in Sydney so I can see you did Jerry’s, Murray’s Run Road and The Watagans so a typical Sydney day out. I’ve got the new 450 Himalayan and it is the best adventure bike I’ve ever owned. Good at everything and an amazing all rounder. Very comfortable and fun to ride as well.
I loved the format, and that should put the wind up the naysayers! Those that think your channel has a bias, because you have the bikes given to you, and say you can't give an honest opinion. And to the people that think the Chinese and Indian bikes are crap. Yeah, I can hear it now. Crap resale value and we don't know how reliable the engines are, blah blah blah. I think if you have that much fun with that much capability, you're on a winner.
For me when I watch a review, I firstly relate to the rider/reviewer and base my opinion on how my riding style relates to theirs. Everyone WANTS a winner in a comparison but actually NEEDS opinions from a couple different riders with different 'bends'. One thing I know for sure though is that Nosh can certainly ride!
Really put both bikes through their paces guys....great video and great result. Not alot between the 2 at all. I'm 100% Himi biased but the CFMOTO looks awesome. Loved the format of this vid also....keep em coming!
Such a good video. I’ve got the CF Moto on order but honestly could have easily bought the himi, it was looks and wanted to try the twin that won it for me
Love this review, but I also loved the more structured one you did a few weeks ago. I picked up my MT450 shortly after your earlier review and so far I’m in love with it like I haven’t been with any other bike. 1250 km in just over 2 weeks says it all❤
Great format. Great camaraderie. Im a 411 owner but i think you get more bang for your buck with the CF Moto ie folding levers adjust windscreen better dash and easier air filter access. Cant go wrong with either though.
Like many,I have been waiting for this exact testing.. However I am none the wiser,or any closer to which one to buy. They both did well, and they both look like a shit ton of fun and both under 10k.. I reckon for me it won’t matter which one I get, and I think I will just do a random lottery type of decider, you know, screwed up paper in a hat.. Thanks to all who gave me so much fun and entertainment watching ..Luv’ ya’ work boys..
Thanks Dave, I've followed bike reviews since the early 80s on mags like ADB. I've owned over 70+ motorbikes. Loved them all. I keep saying to fellow riders that want to go big because of advertising and ytubers riding the wheels of them that It's not real. Your vid sums it up perfectly. AAA
Good show. "Like a dog sticking it's head out the window". I've ordered an RO w/ tubeless rims. I prefer single cylinder 4 strokes for the tough stuff. The RO wins the fashion show. I also dislike Chinese spyware, look into this yourself.
I rode both and preferred the 450mt but wasn't excited enough to buy either. I think the new KTM390 Adv R will be the trump card unless the price is supa high. AJP PR7 is still the unicorn but twice the coin.
Nice, I have waited a long time for this test. The format is fun to watch you guys suffering and having fun, but I miss the detailed description of the little things which came to light by abusing the bikes during such testy. Maybe in future you can talk about this during your test/suffering of camera and include the findings in the voice over.
There is definitely more to come as both bikes are long terms. I am yet to do my thorough review of the Himi in a similar fashion to that of the CFMOTO I did.
Interesting, the more reviews I see, the more it seems apparent that the CF Moto is an almost-Tuareg, but at half the price. Fair enough, cos the Tuareg is just so expensive in Australia.
I would like to see them on a ride lasting a weekend. There is 4 seconds of black screen at 26:58 to 27:03. Just a heads up. Very happy to see Nugget and Nosh back 🍻
It was great to get secondary feedback, after you formed your professional opinion. However a bit of structure for your gest riders, to tell them in advance what they will be asked about the bikes at the end might guide them in the format. And don't forget to include a woman in a similar review in the future, please.
It's my opinion for hard adventure rides like this...the XD4 is far superior Helmet to the new XD5 ...why on earth did they take away chin vents and screen vents....it's a snowmobile profile
Actually loved the format of this one. Reviews can be a but dry sometimes, or more often full of forced humour and just annoying. This gets it accross what it's like to be out riding and was way more useful at the same time. Getting contrasting opinions on the bikes was great.
You know theres one big thing here, it doesnt matter which one you pick. The fun you blokes had on sub 10k bikes has to be the most important point from all this
that's the point. I think people get tied up too much in the bike. I cannot believe these are under $10K! WTF :)
KAVER SUPRME. P0WER. ❤👍👍.
Thanks for a great day out Gents. Always a blast riding with you all.
An honest day of adventure that most owners of these bikes might put them through.
Great to get the band back together!
Over 10 years this motorbiking fan from Florida's been watching..thanks for the content.
Thanks so much. I really appreciate your long term commitment to what we do.
Both bikes make sense, i everyday practicability. At the end of the day, it always comes back, to which one, puts a smile on your face. Here in the land of Oz, where the budget is tight, you really can't go wrong.

Great to hear.

Nuggets back! 😂 Hell yeah!
Great fun to have him back.

@@nfi2799 He certainly can!
Loved this gents. Soon the new ktm 390 adv will join this club.
Really put both bikes through their paces guys....great video and great result. Not alot between the 2 at all.
I'm 100% Himi biased but the CFMOTO looks awesome.
Loved the format of this vid also....keep em coming!
Himi for me...all day!
Good format Dave!
Thanks
Such a good video. I’ve got the CF Moto on order but honestly could have easily bought the himi, it was looks and wanted to try the twin that won it for me
The Husky ist not Scandinavian at all. Only the name remains...
Some salty dialogue on MAD TV - love it! As always, a thorough bashing of bikes and man👍
It's always fun to test the limits, even if it gets a little spicy!

I will be doing a similar review on the Himi shortly.
Great honest reviews of each sub 10K bikes from semi retired gents. Well done & grest fun.
Thanks mate. We do our best but I don't know if Nugget, Nosh and Clubby would see themselves as semi retired gents. :)
Sorry, I forgot! Loved seeing Nugget again. Loved him dropping the Himi even more!
Yeah I did like that bit. Particularly after he whopped me on the time trial.
GREAT FUN GUYS !!
Comes down to asthetics preference then ?!
Either way purchasers won't be disappointed.
Great job guys!
😂
Albeit tough going
Support the manufacturers that built the segment! Great vid gents.
Great feed back.
Brilliant, good example of what a $10K bike can do out of the box.
They both have their strengths for sure.
Great format. Great camaraderie. Im a 411 owner but i think you get more bang for your buck with the CF Moto ie folding levers adjust windscreen better dash and easier air filter access. Cant go wrong with either though.
The Himi handled the jump much better.
Nuggets' are better rider I think 😊
Like many,I have been waiting for this exact testing..

I'm glad you found it entertaining. They are both amazing bikes.
Nuggets gonna score a sunsilk deal if he keeps putting that hair do on screen!! Great vid.
Agree :)
It's super fun to watch. It always feels like I'm there with you guys. I want to come and ride around Oz someday. Hi from Atlantic Canada.
Thanks mate.
Best comparison ever! Very well played boys! Enjoyed it really!
Love this style of presentation, way more fun 😊
Hopefully these bikes push the price of used dr650’s down
There is a possibiity
Epic. My takeaway. For shortarses the himmy is a better option.
I like watching your adventures but still waiting for the proper, structured review of the CF moto 💪🏽
Please explain

Appreciate your perspective mate, and you've certainly seen some bikes in your time!
This video yous did made me feel like I was there, 10/10 . Himmy 450 and cfmoto 800mt owner
Bloody excellent.
Great video! Loved the end comments!
Thanks
I liked the multiplicity of opinions.
Great 👍 review I have been waiting for someone to review both bikes back to back , I think 🤔 from your results it’s what bike you prefer 👍
Yes, these bikes are very close.
Any video nugget is in is a good one like from USA
Good show. "Like a dog sticking it's head out the window".
I've ordered an RO w/ tubeless rims. I prefer single cylinder 4 strokes for the tough stuff. The RO wins the fashion show. I also dislike Chinese spyware, look into this yourself.
That himi suits The Nug
It does.
That was a great video. Well done
Thanks for watching!

I do like the way this video is done.
Thanks mate. I'll fix that before it goes public. Really appreciate you picking that up.
Fixed. Thanks once again.
I bought my himi today
Great bike
How long did it take you to wash the bikes down it's always fun getting dirty but no so much cleaning up later
An hour and a bit.
What a fun video 👍
Hey Dave, guys, Dave what rally tower you got on the husky mate.
Adventure Men Cave looks good eh!
When I look at the Himi I see metal. When I look at the CFMOTO I see plastic. I'm an old schooler retro grouch. Steel is Real

❤ u guys 😊 so much fun 🎉
Thanks
Why do I suddenly have a compulsion to nosh some nuggets?
Nugget is the dog's 🍒 😎
Yep
It's my opinion for hard adventure rides like this...the XD4 is far superior Helmet to the new XD5 ...why on earth did they take away chin vents and screen vents....it's a snowmobile profile
Thanks
Good n you? Hahaha into em Dave
Mad
Touch screen compatible 🤣

Yes that was a gem.
