I don’t have a hard time mentally letting things go but I’m disabled so I’m not able to physically do the labor to declutter and take things to donation/trash. My office be lookin pretty rough ❤
I totally understand. I often work with clients who aren’t physically able to do the labor. We’ve worked with clients who stay in bed and we do 100% of the labor for them!
I have the same problem and being a bit OCD doesn't help.

I don't have an issue decluttering. I have things packed away because I hate throwing good things in the garbage can. I wish I knew a place is near me where I can either call for a pickup or do a drop off
Look into Vietnam Veterans of America (or a similar service). They offer free donation pickups in my area in SoCal!

I like to let go of things. My husband dosent and makes it harder to declutter stuff.

Yes, a long time client! We work one space at a time each month (or every other month). This was our first time working on the kitchen and she’s up keeping all the other spaces we’ve worked on so well. I’m so proud of her!

The before is anxiety inducing, how do you as an organizer keep from being overwhelmed by a client's hoard.
For me, the spaces I walk into don’t ever induce anxiety. All I see are the possibilities of what it will become. I recommend starting with a flat surface and clearing it off. Often, seeing a big change quickly is motivating and makes it feel less overwhelming.
