The more I watch these ‘decluttering’ videos, the more I realize a lot of the important decision making has to be around - what to keep! 🤔 The “can I live without it?” mantra/question constantly rattles around in my head now… and I haven’t even started my ‘real’ decluttering journey yet. 😌✨♥️✨👍🏽✨🇨🇦

I could end up broke again

Light to dark….clothes must be hung in order of light to dark per the color wheel, otherwise you spend 5 minutes sorting through an entire rack looking for something green when it could have taken a fraction of a second because all greens are hung together. Same with shoes. I’ve taught my children this for over 35 years. It’s my one true pet peeve. Closets must be kept organized to a T because you waste a huge amount of time if you don’t PLUS it also breeds procrastination & chaos elsewhere that spreads across the room like wildfire and will eventually envelop your entire house and your life…..and it all starts with your closet!! Now, I could get into lectures on the importance of seasonal rotation of closets, on proper fabric placements and sleeve length layering but few people at the beginning stages of organization are remotely ready for deep dives but trust me, the skill of organizing a closet is much more complex than just being tidy. LOL No, I’m not an uptight person, I’m just an organized one….and have been for over 60 years - blame it on my OCD mother or my early years of working in high end men’s fashion & tailoring but either way, behind every door, drawer & cabinet in my home is a work of art and it’s effortless to keep it that way once you bite the bullet and commit to getting it done …..either with or without help. TRY IT TODAY - I promise you won’t be sorry!! Best Wishes

I don’t know how my kid would react when she discovers the item is gone…in the past, she was very upset about letting go of anything and kept asking for it

Within 3-1/2 years, I moved to 5 states: TX AL FL CA LA. I just gave my notice this week. I only keep my favorites, and I get rid of everything that can replaced for less than $20 or within 20 Minutes at Amazon. If I have 2 of anything, I get rid of the larger items, bec I only keep what fits in my 12 large Totes: 1 Art supplies 2 Bathroom/Laundry 3 Blankets, Pillows 4 Cat food litter toy 5 Clothes Fall, Winter, 6 & Spring, Summer 7 Cooking, Appliances 8 Dine, Place Settings 9 Docs, Books, Pics 10 Office/Study 11 Pantry 12 Work Tools

Best advice i ever got if u havent used it in 6 months AND can replace it in 20 min for 20 bucks out the door it goes cause if one day u need it u can replace it in the mean time your home is less cluttered

My problem is my heels 😂 I'm now disabled and unable to wear the heels I use to or really any of them. I tell myself that oh on ur bad days u can wear the when u use ur wheelchair but I never leave the couch on those days. I'm aware it is because I hope I'll get better, but I know I can't. There is no cure, but my anxiety is like no some day just some day
