Good videos. Especially since I do not create anything. Just want to add though, the ‘flip out’ piece is there in case you move the battery stopper to the rear most hole. The ‘flip’ piece moves out of the way so you can still remove the red locker out for motor assembly removal. Thanks for the great vids bro! Enjoy! 😉

Earl , I picked my Kraton 4s up today and flawless running on 3 and 4s . Sent it off the ramp and no issues , the suspension is mint ! Steering servo saver is soft tho so I'm looking for an upgrade for that . Skateboard park test later today .

I pulled the antenna out the tube on mine and still loosing signal I contacted horizon customer service and there sending me a new receiver I believe there is something much more wrong with it and also the axles when you give it throttle are wobbly not shure if that's normal Earl let me know how yours runs if it's the same ?

The vendetta, infraction 3s & mega, big rock, and senton all use the same old lwb composite chassis. The V1 kraton used that one too. This one is actually different.

i don't know why they had to change the motor the blx motor is SOOO good like it's actually really good 10/10!!!! i've had my kraton for almost one year now and bars in tone RC had my kraton 4s for two years and the motor still runs perfectly fine the only thing I had to do was superglue that motor plate on because the back of it popped off and I lost the screws
Yes but the 4s line great for ppl around wet climate as metal rc tend to rust completely out sometimes you need plastic for the sand and beach run areas 👍
I’d like to see stock vs stock at least for one run. After that you could switch back to 6s. Nobody has done a side by side comparison between V1 & V2 I don’t think
I own about 14 rc everything from my lmt to my maxx an rustler to any of my many arrmas an everyone of them sat on the wheels in the box.. in fact only ones I've owned are my race cars that don't come with tires... infact most are tied down to the bottom cardboard like the infraction limitless ect.. I've seen very few rc ship with tires off and or wing off
Still catching up. Seems there isn't alot if any major changes . Some slight length throughout. And the battery box . Did they ask the community for any insight 🤨
Idk but making the battery area smaller let’s me know they sure don’t understand speed runs and the struggles we are having is power and battery technology that the limiting factor at this point kev and raz really showed it on there rossa video even tho they never talked about it they where having ESC cut issues due to power 👍⚠️⚠️
Got my outcast in mail today, looks sick. I'm not fond of the battery tray. Wish they would have sent the dx3 with em instead of the slt3. I'm putting mine on a dumbo or flysky controller. I almost canceled my order but got an email yesterday saying it was being sent so I didn't. Arrma dropped the ball on this one imo and I won't pre-order ever again. Shame too cause I want the new king sling mega truck.
do they do standing back flips? they need to do a 1/5 scale... that's all I'm into... got xmax and dbxle 2.0 and kraken i might just buy a second kraken
Great video Earl and if no one else does um let me be the first to thank you for going the extra mile and getting both I have a trick truck but not a 4 wheel drive truggy , very interested in what you find, I agree not that much bigger, size really don't concern me, I just want to know if the chassis holds together, the difference between theses two rc's are slim and I like how the outcast performs on 3 and 4 s I see no reason to up the power on mine if l buy the kraton v2 my little granite is running on 4s already with proper mods to get the arm length and deal with the extra weight, so really want to hear what you got to say about the kraton. Showing the mistake doesn’t mean your new just shows you need to check everything before calling a manufacturer on the rc you buy traxxas training mode is different so if I was only an arrma guy then I’m an expert on one rc when you can fix anything like me as a professional mechanic and owner then my skill sets a little higher then an rc expert 💯👍

The flip design battery holder didn’t make sense on the Kraton as it didn’t need to flip out the way to remove the motor lock on the outcast it need to flip as the shorter chassis the battery support is in the way that’s why it didn’t make sense on the Kraton no reason for it to flip !

Horizon Hobby had it for $479 over 4th of July weekend. I picked one up then. It's a fun truck, even on 4s. On 6s it's WILD!

Infraction and limitless has cardboard under the chassis so tires don’t have weight on them 🤔

The axle problem was mostly in the rear so thats why they only fixed it there only. Its going to become standard overtime
