@@moerc They keep putting the delivery dates back, latest estimate is late November/December now. At least we get time to hear about any potentional problems with the new platform i guess before buying, frustrating waiting though as we will be well into winter time.

Nice comparison, these 2 were my choices and I went with the Kraton 4s. Besides checking for loose screws. Is there anything I need to look for before my first run. I've seen videos talking about missing diff shims and no fluid. Is that only a concern for the bigger models? Thanks for your time.
Congrats on the Kraton! TBh, I never check anything before running my rigs. The only time I had an issue was with my Arrma Senton and the rear diff had no fluid. Other than that, i have been fortunate. In my own experience, if the rig doesn’t not run right then I will look at the diff fluid. For example, on pavement if there is too much rear or front power bias or odd tire wear. If you cannot get to full trigger without the rig going out of control or way off line. Those symptoms usually point to the diff fluid. But yes, you can never go wrong getting to the diffs before you run it. If you are a cautious and it makes you feel better than do it! For the 4s Kraton, I didn’t look at anything. You should be good to go. Slap a battery and let it fly! But that is my opinion.
@@moerc Unfortunately I'm not that excited, I could tell the box I got had been resealed. So I carefully looked over the truck and noticed light scuff marks on the underside of the chassis. Like it had been used. Also there was a noticeable scratches in the battery tray and where the motor mount goes. I'm concerned I got someone's return and there might be something wrong with it. Or am I being to picky?
