I just wanted to mention that the Lunar Landing is actually based on the aerial, not the tilt. Essentially, the startup of Rosalina's aerial is cancelled, but Luma can't similarly cancel an attack from hitting the ground, so a Luma Back Air is occuring while Rosa is fully actionable. If it was a ground to air transition then it would be an F-Tilt.

i’m a melee player but i love watching dabuz play because he so perfectly incorporates rosa tech like lunar landings and dac nairs/dac wavedashes into his play, which reminds me of melee and is not something that i see all the time in ultimate

Dabuz kinda cute. Dabuz kinda clean. Dabuz is kinda in a weird place right now. He’s got the potential to be a top 5 player but is going through a slump. He’s not as dominant in Ultimate as he was in Mario Party, but he’s still on track to be a mid-tier by this time January.

It's interesting that while neither Dabuz not Zomba have won an ultimate major (yet), two other New Yorkers being Quidd and Tilde both did this year. Just goes to show how strong of a region New York is and how volatile ultimate is sometimes
Riptide was kinda weak in terms of player attendance (skill wise), compared to your usual ultimate major tho

There are so many stars in the smash scene and its insanely difficult to say who my favourite players are. With the exception of the number 1 slot. I always struggle to decide which player i prefer unless dabuzz is in the mix. Since midway through smash 4 i have never NOT routed for dabuzz. Such a cool guy

I'm Dabuz is unpopular because he still writes in comic sans. People don't like Comic sans writing.
In all seriousness, Dabuz might be one of the lamest players to see due to 0 changes in the pace of the game from him, but is definitely something the community needs: A REAL ADULT. He's one of those players who has clear mental maturity, which makes sense from how he plays and has been crucial in moments of crisis like 2020. Without him the ultimate scene could easily had never healed its wounds.

No, I like his style a lot. His games against Tea are some of the most memorable ones I've ever seen. Galaxy brain plays from both players.
Simple answer: Dabuz not only has boring gameplay but he also has no personality & is very cringe. That would explain the lack of fan base.
