Alan made Oasis what they were at the peak of their career. I met Alan at Knebworth back in 1996…. Best concert I’ve ever been to, I was 15 yrs old and Alan is the reason I started playing drums and started my relationship with Pearl drums. I got back stage access and it blew me away 250,000 people Rocking to the best British band ever! Looking out from the stage, was a sight to behold. Much love ❤️
@@manolocorp It was amazing. My grandad played drums in a jazz/ big band but Alan was the reason I wanted to pursue. I was t aware of Alan’s brother, Steve. Steve is an absolute animal behind the kit. Steve plays Yamaha drums and I’ve recently bought some Yamaha gear, it’s awesome. I think even Alan would tell you that Steve is a total different animal. I had a chat with Steve once and he told me of a White Pearl kit he had. Alan was younger but wanted the kit off Steve, and Steve being a stingy bugger made Alan pay for the white Pearl kit. Both brothers are awesome. But they were taught by the late Bob Armstrong, a legend himself. Respect, huge respect.
@@RianGalway193 Hey, amazing all those things you are telling me! Since yesterday I've been watching more videos from Steve, and he is definitely one of a kind. What a wonderful and talented drummer, no doubt Alan is also a fantastic drummer, having that sort of knowledge and inspiration available. I used to have a Yamaha kit, to me that is the best hardware on the market. And fun fact: My first kit ever was a Pearl, back in 2000, precisely because of Alan and the influence he had once when I was a teenager. So nice to share all these experiences with a fellow drummer. I'm actually presenting an Oasis tribute concert next week with some very close friends, we are going to play the whole Knebworth gig, it's going to be amazing!
@@sdafc888 very true words mate, I was 15 when I was at knebworth, you’ve hit a nail on the head re the mobile phones and when the word ‘selfie’ was unheard of. Kids these days watch concerts through an iPhone screen while they stream it on TikTok live or Facebook live 🤦🏻♂️ I’d go back to the 90s in a flash, if I could. Respect mate, respect 👊🏻
Absolutely amazing...What's even more amazing is that he came up with those parts, which are biblical, during the recordings. They had no pre-production, demoing sessions, or even rehearsals before entering the studio. Eternal respect, Mr. White.
Absolutely brilliant Alan. You haven’t lost the touch. Thought you went into property business once you came away from Oasis? I hope you get to play with Oasis in the future. Hey the brothers relationship is awful right now so I can’t see it happening for a while. I think it will happen just don’t know when. Keep up the videos we like to see you play 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️
Alan has been out of the public eye since 2004, nor has he played or recorded any drums since then. Is it not enough just to have him back behind the kit again after over a decade and a half?
Absolute top drummer!! He's defo not lost it, if there ever was a Oasis comeback, whitey should be on drums!!.
Bollocks Tony Mac

Same about Pearl and drumming because of him

Not one of Oasis' better songs, but I think it is Alan's best drum track
It was the first ever drum track he did, sad to think he peaked on the first song😢😂😂
not a popular opinion but I think this is my favourite oasis song... even the music mags slated it a bit when it came out. oh well
n1 Oasis drummer
Alan is oasis!!!!!
1930’s Radioking 🤔
Nowt special .....Tony Mac the original drummer was the man
How are you any better than Tony Mac?
Bullsh*t this ain’t Alan
Altough I‘m a big fan of both Steve and Alan I really don‘t understand what these videos of Alan are good for. Sorry.
