Alan is _thee_ greatest Oasis drummer, bar none. He stepped in and stepped up when they needed a 3rd member to help keep the band going after Bonehead and Guigs left. Why Noel got rid of Alan I will never understand that dumb move. I would venture to say Liam wasn't happy Noel did that as Alan was a key member by that point. After Alan they slowly but surely fell apart. Alan had the best feel and style for Oasis. No doubt about it.

Greatest Oasis drummer. Technically Zak Starkey is, well his dad is Ringo and his “Uncle” was Keith friggin Moon, so obviously he’s going to be amazing. But in terms of Oasis band member, equal partner and overall fitting in as a _member_ Whitey is the only friggin Oasis drummer. Period.
