I’m usually doing something while watching and have the video on in the background - having a standardised cue as to when a related image is being shown makes it a lot easier to know when to engage my eyes

In terms of the Apple Pencil I think it is important to note that arguably the main competitor to the Apple Pencil in the UK is the Logitech Crayon (in my experience). The crayon does not feature pressure sensitivity or does not fix magnetically to the iPad and costs £69.99 while the new base Apple Pencil is only £79.99. The university I work at features many students who use iPads (likely around 88+% in mathematics) and many use the Logitech crayon despite the fact it does not have pressure sensitivity given they only use the iPad for taking notes.

The audio toggle is something I've wanted for a while and would be amazing if it was added to streaming services. If there was an add on or app I can download on my android tv for audio leveling when the show I'm watching goes to an ad that would be really appreciated 👍

David’s wrong about N64 emulation, we’ve been able to emulate N64 games pretty effortlessly since the early 2010’s. Even Nintendo was able to emulate N64 better on older hardware, it’s just the switch that’s awful at it. There’s a TH-camr called Nerrel that went into this pretty indepth. I suggest anyone interested should check him out.
Watching the crew, particularly David, going through mental gymnastics to try and justify an $80 basic stylus just because it has USB-C is hilarious. This podcast really is a comedy. A couple years ago I bought a cheap stylus for my iPad off Amazon for like $20 and even that thing had pressure sensitivity, and USB C. Just hearing David say they had to cut out engravings because that allows them to get the price as low as possible, when the thing still costs $80 is absolutely insane. Hopefully people vote with their wallet on this one, but its probably only in the lineup to make the other offerings seem more like a 'deal'.

Interesting to see Marques' memories of YT. One correction: Black holes don't have infinite mass, they have infinite gravity at the singularity (ie the "center" of the BH). The mass comes from everything that the BH has eaten over its lifetime. Fun fact: Black holes also die. Whenever the universe is gonna end due to expansion, stars will slowly die in (hundreds of) billions of years. But BHs die away very slowly due to Hawking Radiation (basically a pair of particles are generated spontaneously and one falls into the BH pushing the other out into the void) which drains away its energy/mass. Due to this, BHs would be the last cosmological objects to die after trillions of years.

The 304 view count issue was never an issue of "verified views" , it was due to the database info syncing up. When a video was popular dozens of databases would be out of sync and it would take time to reconcile that process. The reason it doesn't happen anymore is because of better infrastructure
