49:50 Interesting what you said at this point. I felt the same way about some of the things that JP II had said or written. Somehow I did not think they were right, but now I realize that he was speaking as philosopher and I am not obliged to accept them accept if he was speaking ex cathedra. Or did I misunderstand you?

The letter of Clement to the Corinthians was also considered scripture for many years. He was writing from Rome. If any letter should have been considered Scripture, it should have been. But wasn't. The Church spoke.

The Prophet Jesus , may God bless him and grant him peace, said :
    * “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the " Spirit of truth ", has come, He will guide you
into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever
He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.*

Why are there so many bad books in catholic parish libraries? I have noticed this. There seems to be the worse books there. I wanted to read the church fathers, but there were none. The other thing I noticed was questionable visions or illusions like monstergory or something like that. Has anyone seen things from this group? I would rather have the lives of true saints.

A large number of Google image searches, I don't have records of each image. You could screenshot a slide you like and do a reverse Google image search. I also share slideshows upon request to any members of the channel.

Interesting. Do you think the Assumption of Mary can be defended from scientific criticism on the grounds that body or matter is not completely real i.e., matter is not a substance? It seems that a lot of doubts about miracles come from the belief that matter is real.

104:09 Of course, the Theotokos Mary was in Jerusalem. I do not accept this new idea about Ephesus. She never lived there. Possibly she went there, but for what reason? Her place was in the Holy City. She was not a globetrotter in the modern sense. It is not the tradition of the church and never has been. It is a new idea promoted by the Turkish pro-mohammedean government and Pope Francis seems to have accepted hook, line and sinker. That is another reason was I suspect it. It seems that anything new thing that Pope Francis is promoting is suspect and not according to tradition. He is just this way and cannot help himself. So dear mod Vat II Catholics, if you want to promote the Turks, go to Ephesus on your way to Monstergory.

45:00 What is that weird picture? It looks like Jesus is praying to a pope. Surely this cannot be right. Christ is above all popes.

Hello Stephen - that is Jesus bowing before God the Father. I hadnt noticed that the Father is depicted with a papal tierra, I'm not sure why that is.

    Actually, you're wrong!
Disagreement comments actually promote the channel more than agreeable comments.
I am very upset about this!!!

When Jesus , son of Mary , returns to earth ( his second coming ) ,
he will say to those who took him as " God " or " Lord " :
    * On that day many will say to me, 'Lord , Lord , did we not
prophesy in your name , and cast out demons in your name ,
and do many mighty works in your name?' , And then I will declare
to them , 'I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers *.
    ( Matthew 7:22).

"Mary's assumption?" The title is not only misleading but false. BIBLICALLY there was no assumption.

Rbn, most inaccurate, as the Apostle John sees Mary the Queen Mother of the Davidic King, Jesus Christ, alive and well in Heaven wearing her crown, she who gave birth to the male child born to rule the nations! Faith ALONE is never found in Holy Scripture, except to negate it! You are in my prayers as you journey toward Truth! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink!

The angel Gabriel, peace be upon him ,
is the Holy Spirit , whom Christians consider
the third deity in the Trinity. . or God ..
    ---------------
    * Say , ( O Mohammad ) the Holy Spirit has
sent it down from your Lord with truth, to confirm
those who believe, and as guidance and good
    tidings for Muslims (102)*
    ( Quran )
    -------------------------
Islam means: obedience and submission to
the commands of Allah ( God Almighty )
    .((Whom Christians call "the father"))

Why do the peoples ( Christians in particular ) differ in their religions?
Because , All the prophets and messengers, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, peace be upon them, spoke Aramaic, not Hebrew. Aramaic is originally Arabic, because Adam, peace be upon him, the first of the prophets, spoke Arabic, as did the people who lived thousands of years after him, until the last of the prophets, Noah, peace be upon him. The last of the prophets from the lineage of Ishmael, the firstborn son of Abraham, from his wife Hagar, peace be upon them, spoke Arabic. All the revelation that came down to the prophets was in the Arabic language, then the messengers translated it into the language of their people, and God sent a messenger to every nation, and their number is approximately: The messengers are three hundred and some, and the prophets are one hundred thousand and twenty-four thousand.
