Hi Man. Does you coating start turning yellow after a few months? I'm fly tier and making a few poppers a couple of years ago, the 5 minutes epoxy start turning yellowish. Nor I'm using a 12 hours epoxy and the results are much better, and no matter if you're using some glitter for the final layer (I do the same). Also, given the curing time, there're almost no bubbles once dried. Regards,
I dont use 5 minute epoxy. I used Devcon's 30 min 2 ton epoxy in clear. Never had a yellowing problem. I had some fading problem with paint over time and I think that was because I was thinning my paint with water. I now use paint reducer.
I used this.. www.dickblick.com/products/iwata-medea-airbrush-cleaner/ for deeper cleaning at the end of the day, I run some windex threw it unless I plan on breaking down the airbrush and cleaning it thoroughly

I have checked around and I can't find those deep CB lures and I really like that style of bait for painting. Where do you get yours from? How do you keep your paint so smooth? Some of my colors are really grainy even when I thin them and lower the psi.
I get them from www.dakotalakestackle.com. Regarding your paint, your pressure may be too low. Also check that your needle point of the airbrush is not bent

Cliff Waller you can get the Iwata at hobby lobby and download their 40% off coupon online. If you try going too cheap you may not have a good painting experience. Buy good equipment. It’s an investment.

have you tried to use just a regular water base acrylic paint like Benjamin Moore ??
does it work or you really have to go with that wicked paint
cking_closure Wicked is just one brand of paint. Benjamin Moore is too thick to spray. I would stick with paint that is made for airbrushes

I don't see why no as long as it's waterproof and can take a abuse of toothy fish. Some painters use a Moisture Cure Urethane and dip the baits

Color names were mentioned in the video. Paint brand I use most often is called ComArt. I also sometimes use Createx and Golden Paints.
