    I really love this series. Most overland YT is ‘gear and cooking’. It’s so lame I’ve unsubscribed from most. The whole point is to get out there and experience nature away from the crowds. You’re doing it right. Keep on keeping on 💪🏼

    If you have time, go to "Cape Lookout" & hike the "Cape Trail" (it's just south of Tillamook). The rail is Easy, but be ready for your shoes to get muddy. I have had the privilege to travel to almost every state in the country and the views you will get from the simple trail is nothing but amazing! You will not regret it. And before you leave, drop by the Tillamook cheese & ice cream manufacturing facility (great company & employee's). If your interested in Aviation they also have only one of two remaining WWII blimp buildings they have turned into an aircraft museum.
    Love your video's, thanks for producing, and sharing and stay safe !!!

    Great shots Robb! You we're super lucky to get a sunny day on the Oregon Coast in late May - I've been on the PNW coast quite a bit that time of year and probably have had two days that were that nice.

    We were out that way in 2020. It is lovely. Your video quality and drone shots are amazing. We look forward to going in our 4Runner with better off road gear. Last time we were in our Escape and weren't able to get too far off the main roads. Have learned a lot about gear and Overlanding from your videos and enjoy your adventures.

  • @TheKPDX
    @TheKPDX 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Curious where you were between Medford & Bear Camp Road? I'm assuming the Rogue Siskiyou NF, possibly around Chrome Ridge, didn't quite recognize it. Bear Camp has all those signs after James Kim died when his family became stuck back there November 2006. BTW, just as an FYI for you and other drone pilots, the offshore rocks are part of the Oregon National Wildlife Refuge and have restrictions on drone use. That Grassy Knob campsite certainly looks familiar. Keep up the good work! Beautiful footage. Try hitting the Klamath Mtn in Northern Northern CA & also hit the Avenue of the Giants.

    • @RevereOverland
      @RevereOverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure the names of the road, sorry!
      I check the drone restrictions before every flight, but didn’t zoom in enough to see that each individual rock is restricted! It appears it’s legal to fly around/over them, but not operate from them. Obviously it’s still illegal to disturb wildlife, and probably best practice to not fly directly over.

    I appreciate your content and genuineness. It’s a far cry from Teen Wolf Talon Sei who changes tents 30 times a year, and runs a Kimbo simply for an expo only to remove it and never use it again….you keep Shilling Mike at LLOD and Talon “teen wolf” Sei

    I’ve watched this camp spot on more than one channel. Problem is that no one states where it is. I ask but none tells me like they don’t want anyone to know BUT you’re there showing us and we want to go there too. Where is that mountain top ocean view camp spot?

  • @pnw.bronco

    Ok you pronounced siskyou correctly but how you pronounce Oregon is a little off lol. Port orford is an awesome little town, when we went a couple years ago we found some awesome green jasper and agate formations that we have stashed away now and it's good that you went to the dive, we went to redfish and it's a never again place as the service sucked and it was a bit spendy as they were trying to be a 4-5 star place in a small coastal town. I live in Salem btw so am a Oregonian lol
