Should definitely do a “How Powerful” on Marka Ragnos. Arguably just as esteemed as Tulak, discovered Vitiate, apprenticed Naga Sadow, coronated Exar Kun and.... like Tulak, he was arguably never defeated as he ruled the Entire Sith Empire for over a century until he DIED OF OLD AGE!! What a boss 🤘
From Wookieepedia; Tulak Hord was renowned for his legendary dueling abilities.[6] Centuries later upon inquiry from Surik, Kreia remarked that Hord was "the greatest lightsaber duelist of the Sith Lords," going on to say that his skill was considered "remarkable even for his time, when many true lightsaber masters lived." Kreia also revealed that if Surik had to face an ancient Sith Lord in combat, she would learn that "we are as children playing with toys compared to the prowess of the old masters." Later, Khem Val revealed to Darth Nox that Hord single-handedly broke the sieges laid by Jedi to Imperial strongholds in the Yn and Chabosh. Over a thousand Jedi perished in these battles. Hord was a fearsome master of the dark side. He was extraordinarily competent in the matters of telekinesis; when Darth Nox approached the ruins of the Endar Spire, Khem Val revealed that "The great Tulak Hord once pulled a ship this size from the sky." Hord was also a master of sorcery
Personally I don't believe that Sidious is the MOST powerful. He has more powerful feats than other sith, but there are ancient sith that post-empire sith that have other more powerful feats. It's a toss up to me.
Well according to Lucas, Sidious is the final culmination of the Rule of Two into the perfect Sith and all Sith knowledge and power is within him. He knows every ancient secret and technique every Sith has ever used, etc.
A detail worth mentioning: Tulak Hord developed a sith ritual that allowed him to literally eat the souls of those who died in his vicinity. Adding their force energy and power to his own. Possibly permanently. If he had chosen he could have been Vitiate before Vitiate was even thought of. And more.
So another feat that is stated in SWTOR was Tulak Hord's ability to spread fear. Whole systems would surrender the moment their force users sensed that he had entered the system. A good play on this might be a scene from the anime Bleach. When someone so much stronger than you arrives, if can feel like your drowning from the overwhelming pressure. Some could fight through it, others lost their minds.
Sidious is canon, Tulak Hord legends. Sidious might be most powerful in Canon, but in legends I highly doubt it. Especially when there are beings like Vitiate who's power is almost godlike. Plus when Kreia said her famous line to Mitra Surik multiple lightsaber forms already existed.

If you haven't done a long form discussion on Darth Vitiate/Valkorion I'd love to hear more from you. In my view Sidious is first but Valkorion is second all time powerful Sith. His story and origin is unique.
Sidious by most accounts is seen as the most powerful Sith Lord over more ancient Sith Lords. Isn’t it true however that many Sith texts and alchemy practices have been lost to history? Would you consider a video addressing this?
One thing that should be noted is that the reason why most was lost is because of Sith infighting. They destroyed themselves several times without outside interference. The 1000 years of planning and conspiring under the rule of 2 was almost eventless regarding destruction of accumulated Sith knowledge so while overall much lore was lost, the basics and most if not all "common" and even "uncommon" appliances of the force could have been (re)-discovered by the undistrubed rule of 2 followers.
Hold on, we've seen Tyranus use form 2 against Anikan Skywalker and many more apponants and still be able to win up until ROTS. Duku is uncomparable to Tulak Hord. I don't think it would be difficult for Tulak Hord to be able to rival Yoda or Darth Sidious; especially Darth Vader. Take his lightsaber away, and he can still outmatch them in the Force. Darth Sidious was able to disarm Yoda using the Force alone. Tulak Hord would simply destroy the mere students, that are Yoda ans Darth Sidious, in combat.
How does he compare to Vitiete and Ninhilist? This is hands down why we need an Old Republic series. With all the sith risen up from the past, why not bring up there back stories from us all to experience, aside from video games or books.
@@wrynightraven5255 Nihilus also would easily defeat tulak. Only another wound in the force was able to resist his drain and tulak was not a wound in the force so he would be easily drained to death by Nihilus. But this is the reason why i think Nihilus is too OP and so is Vitiate for many reasons too. Had your charecter in KOTOR2 (Meetra Surik) not also been a wound in the force, Nihilus may have consumed all life in the galaxy. The only others who may have been able to resist Nihilus Drain are the Yuuzhan Vong, with their near immunity to the Force.
I'm a sidious fan but if you played the old republic, you know it's a bunch of sith on his level of power but maybe not his knowledge and understanding of the force.
The best duelists were during Ajunta Pall's era because lightsaber duels between Jedi/Dark Jedi were common place. There were many Makashi masters during this era. After the Dark Jedi were defeated it became very rare for a Jedi to fight another Jedi so Makashi was seen as a waste of time. Later forms such as Soresu became more prominent because of the improvement of blaster technology while lightsaber duels became even more rare.
to be honest with his lightsaber, only my thoughts. I believe that he knew all 7 forms on their sets on combat and i do believe he prefer form 2 with a mix of form 6 with it
I'm going to say this picture count dooku went over depending on 100 to 200 years of experience maybe 300 years and put that along with having the power to make a firm lightsaber crystal that's a beast of a man right there

Well if you include legends Sidious it took every Jedi in galactic history coming from their grave to keep him in chaos, still not killing him. He technically never died at all
Tulak is probably the Only Sith who could Solo Any of the Other "Heavy Hitters": Sidious, Vitiate, Exar Kun, Naga Sadow, Plagueis (Equal in Power to Palpatine at their Peaks, but a Better Duelist), Traya, Sion, etc.
I'll say this.. Cheve got disarmed twice in cannon.. Once from Windu (and he might have thrown that) and once against Yoda (he did get disarmed tbh but he won the battle of the force so... Yeah). I'd say that they were roughly on the same footing as per knowledge of the force. Yes.. TH knew things that were lost to future generations, but sisious, while not knowing most of those (mostly rituals likely) learned some of the things that were developed from the things that were later lost. Here, we come down to the old arguments of what was better.. General force power and abilities with it, or Sith magic and ritual. And sidius was a user of Sith ritual and magic.. He might not know the deepest mysteries of it but makes up with both shear power and thousands of years of development.. I think it might be a more even fight then most would think but Sid has more options that could be used at the drop of a hat with less drain on him.. He would probe over and over with "cantrip" effects and find something that his opponent was weak against (if he knew what he was up against) and use that.. He'd find the weakness.. Just cause he could and would likely spam his attacks... Hmmmm.. The more I think about this and other situations like this.. Makes me really wonder just how powerful Leah would have been in the EU if she was trained more as a Jedi sorcerer... Maybe food for thought.. The few that are known in EU are very similar to her (though.. They might have been based off of her personality)
" Tulak hord didnt really know the deepest mysteries of the dark side" litterly the only one who has ever been able to open one of tulak's holocrons is Darth Revan, so while it is true that we lack specifics on tulak and his abilites its pretty safe to say he knew more than sidious about the force. but for those who blindly says tulak is more powerful than sidious should think some more, sidious was incredably smart and manipulutive while tulak, from what it seems was more up front so there would probably be a big chsnce sidious would be able to manipulate Tulak in some way and kill him and that is also power, i really think more people should play Star Wars The Old Republic since it has quite som lore about this if you psy very good attention of what is said👍 ( sorry for writing this much, had to get it out of my system😂)
i just started watching star wars episode 1 2 3 and now i'm watching episode 4- a now hope and i have a question, why does r2 and c-3po not remember tatooine and that c-3po was created there by anakin skywalker? is it a different story or their memory got erased?
In Star Wars there are eras of discovery, dark ages, and then rediscovery. Tulak Hord lived during the golden age of force discovery for the Sith, which ended with the death of Marka Ragnos. Much of that Sith knowledge was lost after the defeat of Naga Sadow. Because it was common place for Jedi and Sith to destroy each other's secrets after wars. By the time of the Galactic Empire, the secrets learned by Hord and his peers during the golden age of force discovery, were still lost. The time of the Galactic Empire was another era of rediscovery for the Sith (or I should say for Sidious). So to say that Sidious would defeat Hord, because Sidious necessarily 'knew' more about the force, is erroneous.
Darth Sidious was very powerful. But I think Darth Plagueis was more powerful than him. Why else would he wait till he was drunk and asleep before attempting to overtake his master.

You guys hit everything good but you also have to remember that there was a lot of Sith Alchemy happening in the Ancient Ancient you know days of the Sith tulak hord might of Yusuf Alchemy 2 also power his armor so basically he was a lightsaber reflector along with his skills with a blade and his powers with the force that's a remember Sith purebloods can live a long time the oldest that I've heard can live up to 300 years and that was I think Marka ragnos or Lord scourge but still that's a very long time to live and then having a range of over a hundred years is still amazing and taking over a hundred planets and many battles he has seen more battles than most people in the Starwars Universe have had years upon them I just really wish we got a novel about to lock cord or they could somehow bring them into Canon and make a legendary you know story about him as a comic book or novel because I really think that this is a Sith Lord that we need to know about that pioneered every Sith sorcery every Sith magic every great fighting style that we know of witches Form 1 and 2 into the Star Wars Canon and just have them at the Pioneer that started it all and it would be interesting to seeing him in a novel or a live adaptation or at least in a cartoon movie style of Star Wars or heck even a fan film would be beautiful
Does anyone else want to see Tulak Horde return in the age of Luke and the Emperor and he just wants to live life in peace. And he is brought into the war.
If you haven't done a long form discussion on Darth Vitiate/Valkorion I'd love to hear more from you. In my view Sidious is first but Valkorion is second all time powerful Sith. His story and origin is unique.
Can we get a video for Vitiate or Ragnos. Love to see either of them.
Tulak became a ghost. Star Wars Comic Cline Wars says that Maul heard his voice and told him that he must release his anger
Sidious by most accounts is seen as the most powerful Sith Lord over more ancient Sith Lords. Isn’t it true however that many Sith texts and alchemy practices have been lost to history? Would you consider a video addressing this?
Definitely a good idea.
The Stupendous Wave Awesome! Thanks for the great work.
Congratulations on 1 million subscribers
Stupendous!
I'd say Darth Sidious was the most powerful user of force lightning and maybe sith alchemy but not the most powerful ever
yes, me too
Actually Darth Sidious is the most powerful Sith have you seen his Legends Abilities
George Lucas said that Sidious was the most powerful Sith Lord ever.
@@bigbrother7604he also said Vader was the most powerful sith ever, and the same about the skywalkers amd etc...
He was as strong as herd like his last name suggest.
If they choose to use a lightsaber Tulak would destroy them if the choose to use the force he would still destroy them
Anyone ever think that 1 theory of Hords undefeated record is because he created a "new" lightsaber form
Just noticed you have 1 million subscribers now. Congrats!
How does he compare to Vitiete and Ninhilist? This is hands down why we need an Old Republic series. With all the sith risen up from the past, why not bring up there back stories from us all to experience, aside from video games or books.
Not many people could compare to vitiate in force power so he might've defeated tulak hord
@@tori9365 okay, i didn't know that
All hail Tulak Hord!
You'll have to remember a lot of two locks towards Discovery and secrets were destroyed and he hid what was remaining in the far reach of the galaxies
Do Valkorion next👍
I personally think that vader had the potential to be the most powerful sith of all time prior to mustafar.
That was awesome. I was just wondering if he was wondering if was in any books you'd recommend
Tula Hord looks a a lot like Megatron.
I'm a sidious fan but if you played the old republic, you know it's a bunch of sith on his level of power but maybe not his knowledge and understanding of the force.
you actually did what i suggested lol . ty . nice video
Darth Vader exists
*upgrade*
The best duelists were during Ajunta Pall's era because lightsaber duels between Jedi/Dark Jedi were common place. There were many Makashi masters during this era. After the Dark Jedi were defeated it became very rare for a Jedi to fight another Jedi so Makashi was seen as a waste of time. Later forms such as Soresu became more prominent because of the improvement of blaster technology while lightsaber duels became even more rare.
You guys be goin hella deep, I love it!!!!! Rising moons!!!!!!
Wish they made a toy of tulak hord
Best way to get star wars lore....this channel oh! also playing Star Wars The Old Republic online!!
My favorite sith. He may not have been the most powerful in terms of force abilities, but in saber combat I doubt he has an equal.
Happy 1m subs!
to be honest with his lightsaber, only my thoughts. I believe that he knew all 7 forms on their sets on combat and i do believe he prefer form 2 with a mix of form 6 with it
Imagine a John Wick themed Star Wars centered around Tulak Hord where it is just non-stop fighting?
I'm going to say this picture count dooku went over depending on 100 to 200 years of experience maybe 300 years and put that along with having the power to make a firm lightsaber crystal that's a beast of a man right there
You should do Grandmaster Satele Shan next!
Tulak Horde v Mace Windu would be crazy
Really like this character
+The Stupendous Wave
Suggestion
How Powerful was Revan or Darth Revan or
How Powerful was Cin Drahlik
I saw the thumb nail and thought we got a name for one of The Knights of Ren
Ood
Tulak was a beast stated to be the best dualist of the Sith Lords ever and he’s from the first Sith empire when there was many great/skilled lightsaber dualist
The Master of the Gathering Darkness approves this message.
Can we have a in depth video on how powerful Marca Ragnos is?
Exar Kun: Defeated by trash Qel-Droma
Vitiate: Defeated countless times only to transfer his essence like a scrub.
Sidious: Thrown down a reactor shaft, owned by Windu, and hysterically beaten by rEy
Revan: Taken prisoner and kept in a dark bdsm sex dungeon by Vitiate
Kresh: Slapped by Sadow
Sadow: Slapped by Nadd
Bane: Owned by his apprentice
Nihilus: Beaten by exile
Traya: Beaten by exile
Krayt: Teabagged by Cade
Plagueis: Only real G other than Hord who’s worthy of mentioning not named Nadd or Ragnos. Mirked in his sleep like a cuck.
Ragnos: Died of old age like a boss but without the achievements of Hord.
Nadd: Same as Ragnos
TULAK HORD: Literally the most op Sith Lord of all time and was undefeated for centuries. Known as the greatest duelist to ever live who could also pull star ships out of the sky with the force. Conquered over 100 planets and owned everyone to ever face him. Was known and spoke of to be the most powerful Sith of all time for a reason. Got stabbed in the back by his cuck apprentice.
You tell me who’s the best!
Hord all day for me👌🏻
Well if you include legends Sidious it took every Jedi in galactic history coming from their grave to keep him in chaos, still not killing him.
So Revan was right. More Sith would make the order weaker since the weak could rise against the strong
Completely coincidental, but Tulak Horde looks a lot like the knight of Ren with the giant axe.
Is this before ragnos or after ?
Want to hear more about Revan please
Valkorian/vishiate or Aboleth could be close to Tulak Horde or Siddious.
Tulaks armor gives him a small advantage.
Please make a video about Sorzus Syn or XoXaan. Thanks .
Always reminds me of Turrican's armor.
Debate:Who is the most powerful sith Lord ever in canon and legends.
Probably darth vitiate or palpatine
Darth Vader/Darth Nihilus
soso girl nope
@@HarryG98 darth jar jar
What are the animations you use a lot in your videos about dueling Jedi and sith? I think they are really cool but I don’t know what they are
Might be a dumb question, where does this lore come from? This ancient sith stuff is so interesting.
I want to play a Star Wars game set where Tulak hord is still alive
Tula Cord might likely adapt learning as he fought his foes .
I love Tulak Hord not only becuz hes the best lightsaber duelist but also becuz he is a Sith Mando.
i just started watching star wars episode 1 2 3 and now i'm watching episode 4- a now hope and i have a question, why does r2 and c-3po not remember tatooine and that c-3po was created there by anakin skywalker? is it a different story or their memory got erased?
kiLLw0w GOD memory was partially erased when they were given to the rebel alliance
@@MrDuctTapestuffz but why did obi wan not remember them?
In one video you said he never faced a jedi, now you're saying he took down over a hundred
Do Darth Bane!
Papa Tulak Motherfucking Hord. What a beast.
Darth Sidious was very powerful. But I think Darth Plagueis was more powerful than him. Why else would he wait till he was drunk and asleep before attempting to overtake his master.
