Our First Trail Run | TRD Pro 4Runner | Cleghorn Ridge

- We took out our Stock 2016 TRD Pro 4Runner (Katsu) with 265/70/17 BFG K02 tires on the Cleghorn Ridge trail. This was the perfect trail to come out and see how she performed on trail. The trail pushed us out of our comfort zone, on more than a few occasions; however, Katsu handled it flawlessly. The trail was pretty washed out in many areas. Cleghorn Ridge is approximately 15 miles and rated as moderate, with options to make it more challenging.

First of all what a beautiful truck Katsu is! but my golly that trail is pretty challenging especially the trail beside the cliff! oh my. just as well there was a view at the the top that made that all worthwhile. Keep safe guys 😀

It was pretty washed out in some areas. Don’t know the last time it was graded. Views of the lake were worth the white knuckles 😂

Awesome ride along. We don’t do a lot of back country driving but we have aspirations of getting a jeep or a 4Runner one day to do more of it. It looks so cool 🤙
When you can take the road less traveled there is some amazing scenery to discover.
Great addition to your Adventures, and still looks great for a 2016 4Runner.. I have taken my Mustang in Canyon dirt or gravel an in snow. This was before I started uploading footage.. Prior jobs prohibited any Social Media. Awesome 4X4 trails, that's cool, and awesome canyon footage. Stay Safe, and Healthy take care, and keep climbing. 🛤🏞⛰⛺🧗🏻♂️🧗🏻♀️👦🏻👍🏻🗻❣

@@OpenRoad4Two Yeah on the Mustang had done a little rally in in an area the size of a Football Field. After the break in period., was complete. It was in snow ❄☃ , before it was in rain.
Not sure where I'll be going next, certainly not climbing, still nursing, my scraped hand. Didn't bleed though, a thick chunk of skin came off the side of my palm.
It doesn't hurt just stings when stretching the dry scab.
My car would not make it on that road. We did a 9 mile dirt road in Wyoming, and it was really shaking my body. I had to stop every now and then so that we could take a break from the shaking. That's pretty cool that you got a four runner, now a lot more places are accessible to you guys.
Sometimes on those washboard roads if your air down your tires it makes the ride more comfortable. We are excited to be able to share some of our trips with friends and family!
