5 Months Post Top surgery

I am now 5 months post op from double incision chest reconstruction with Mr Andrew Yelland at the Nuffield Hopsital in Brighton. Discussing the progression of healing and recovery, scar massage and exercise.
I am using a mixture of tamanu oil and rosehip seed oil as a massage treatment twice a day. Then once thats massaged and soaked in, I apply a thin layer of kelo-cote. I got the kelo-cote from my doctor, but I bought the Tamanu oil and rosehip seed oil here:

All looks really healthy, Finn. You really take good care of yourself! I have about 46 days before I my top surgery! I just gotta stop admiring Nathan Fillion's chest (Mal from the Firefly series) so I won't be disappointed in mine. One of my favorite quotes of his: "We've done the impossible, and that makes us mighty." Talk later, mighty one!

I like that! Wow, 46 days...how you feeling??!!! Yes, be realistic.....but also be optimistic....even with scars, a chest can be made to look mighty fine with tender loving care and hard work ! Thanks my friend :)

Look at that beard coming in! Everything is looking great. Glad to hear that your healing is going well. I'll probably be extra cautious after I have top surgery next year, too.

Hi Finn! I really appreciate you making these videos, and you've def been quite inspiring for me in dealing with the most beginning stages of trying to come out as trans... I don't know if anyone has asked this already, but how is Nat doing with the loss of your breasts? Is there any advise she or you could give to help my partner deal with the possible loss of the woman she fell in love as I slowly begin this process? She's not dealing very well, and it's very difficult for us to talk about.. :(

Hi my friend. It is very hard for partners, but with time and patience it is possible for a relationship to both survive and in fact flourish. Nat has done some vids with me, she did one pre and post op talking about how she felt, did you see those? Nat and l have got thru by having very open and honest conversation, its not always easy to hear what our partners have to say but it's important that we listen without judgement. We also treated this transition as our transition, not just mine, so Nat has been to all the important appointments and been part of all the decisions.
