Taiwan is the only country which preserves real Chinese culture and combines it with modern western lifestyles perfectly.
Just imagine that if in 50s there was no civil war. Just predict another future for the mainland and the asia in general. More peaceful

Taiwan is one hidden gem that is so heavenly and not yet overrun by tourist that I really don't want to tell anyone else how great it is so that I can have it all to myself.

When did you visit Taiwan?
Go hiking. There are over 200 mountains in this island. You just need to take 1-2 hour to get the top and take a few hours to go hiking. Thanks for your video. It is really professional. I am looking forward to your next video.

May I suggest one edit to the title? You used simplified characters to write Taiwan (台湾). In Taiwan, they use traditional characters. It would be more correct to write: 台灣. Given the complicated relationship between Taiwan and mainland China, the use of simplified characters could give the impression that you are making a subtle nod to the mainland, which I doubt was your intention. Thanks! I am so excited to see this video in my feed. Not only am I returning to Taiwan for a visit this fall (I studied Chinese there several years ago) but I am happy to see more Westerners visit there! It is so overlooked by travelers.

the sea turtle part truly is having me in tears! I lived in Kaohsiung for a few years and went diving at this exact spot many times. Taiwan inspires so much gratitude , and Xiao Liu Qiu is my special place, thank you for this wow!!

I was in central Taiwan to visit some friends. We had been to Sun Moon Lake and a theme park next to it. We also had a lot of food in Taichung and Nantou. Everything was nice.

Our time in Taiwan was WAY too short (We were on a cruise through East Asia). We hope to return soon, especially to Taipei. We found that, while the culture is rooted in China, there are strong Japanese influences. eg. It's so clean and organized there. Also - the food in Taipei is insane. We have to get back.

The Qing Dynasty in China ceded Taiwan to Japan. Japan and the Second World War surrendered in 1945. 。In 1951 Japan signed the San Francisco contract with the consent of the United Nations (renounced) its sovereignty over Taiwan. Japan did not let Taiwan return to any country.
The Chinese Communist Party（CCP） betrayed the Republic of China（ROC） and the United Nations also betrayed the Republic of China. 23 million people in Taiwan like democracy and liberalism. Therefore, those who read this article should not betray the Taiwanese people. It should not be said that Taiwan is part of the （CCP）.Your country surrendered to the (CCP). Follow the one-China policy of the (CCP).

Indeed, it's sooo easy to fall in love with Taiwan! I was there on last year's summer for 2 weeks and I fell in love. Flying back there next spring and I'm so excited already! Here's to 15 hrs flight only to fall more in love!

There's a reason why I love to live in Taiwan for over 10 yrs now. Not only is it amazingly beautiful... it's about the citizens. Taiwanese are the nicest people in the world!
