@@Theupstateidiots hey man sorry to hear about your dad, the good news is that he’s still around and that you still have the time. I think you’ve got the right idea, get it running, let him have the time of his life and make those memories and then you can make it look pretty later. That’s how nearly every full restoration build goes too. I made the mistake of getting impatient and wanting to see the car painted after like 70+ days of straight body work with no breaks and I ended up regretting it because I had to drop it back off to get sprayed and had to redo some body work. Yo yo, big fan of your work my dude! Been watching your stuff for a while! Love the Porsche and big Bertha build! Wing I made out of lexan myself, front spoiler I made myself using the stock front spoiler as the base, added about 4 inches and molded it to the fenders using fiberglass
Nicely done. Only thing I would change is putting the stock seats back in. Have never been a fan of the bucket racing seats as they made for small guys.
Thanks so much! Putting the stock seats is definitely something i've considered doing to get back that classic feel, I definitely might put them back in sometime in the future! Love the look of the original seats!
You all did a great job. My only question is why isn’t the Ford motor company doing this? Putting a classic mustang body on a modern chassis. I’m sure people would buy this over the e mustang suv
Thanks a bunch! Honestly that’s a great question haha, I don’t think it’d be too tough for them to do and I think they’d get a massive pop from all the classic enthusiasts. Even if they did a limited production run, I’m sure they’d sell out and appreciate a ton over time.
that is so cool. I would like to do that with my mustang but put it on a tesla/prius/all electric vehicle frame. do you know if that has ever been done? recommendations on where to start?
That would be awesome man! I've actually been thinking about that a ton! I haven't seen anywhere use the actual entire chassis from an electric vehicle, but i'm 100% going to be doing that in the near future. The most important part of where to begin in my opinion would be the wheelbase. You need that exactly the same as the car you're dropping onto of the electric chassis. Wheelbases need to match up. If you jump on that project let me know, would love to watch the process!
@@soundsofnature7427 haha hey that’d be an honor! Maybe I can get on the this vs that, but even if ken was driving backwards and only stayed in first gear, he’d still probably win 😂

I finished up a wide body subaru brz too a few months ago that i haven't posted any uploads (just waiiting on paint to finish) and also did a 69 camaro restored before which i may upload some vids of. Awesome!! Just what I’ve had in mind modern everything and classic look. With a Coyote engine awesome!!! I guess I don’t need to waste money on upgrading parts if I plan to do this eventually 😂
I am thinking about doing this type of body swap, however I want to keep closer to original styling on the sides. Do you think there is a need to have that wide of a body kit? I understand that it would have to be some math to shorten the rear end and front end width, or is there a loop hole. What you think? Sweet build man.

This is one of the sickets things I've ever seen. Any way to get a time/cost breakdown? Are there forums online with some guides/how to's etc? What was your experience prior to this build? I've convinced the wife to let me do this now the question is can I / how do I
Thanks so much man I really appreciate it! Time breakdown and cost is a little weird because I was pretty much learning a lot as I was going along. My prior experience was I had a stock 67 mustang, and I built a restomod 69 Camaro that was LS swapped with the motor/transmission out of ctsv Cadillac. I did all the work on the Camaro besides wiring and exhaust pretty much, and the suspension was stock but everything was new on the car, the gauges; brakes, bushings, everything was stock style but newly replaced. I built the mustang because even with everything new in the Camaro, I still had issues with reliability and the drive quality just wasn’t that great - so I did the mustang with everything modern and just the looks of the classic. Time spent was 1.5 years, I started December 2020. I had the body swapped within 2 months, but the gaps and everything was horrendous, pretty much it took me 1.5 years to get the gaps Perfect, doors opening and closing easily, get all the wiring done nice and clean and labeled etc.. so fit and finish took the longest and that’s because I had to learn it all as we went along. I learned body work while I was working at my friends shop and he gave me the keys to the shop so I was able to work in the morning and stay nights to do body work. It took me 2.5 months, every single day doing body work from 6pm -4 am, no days off. It took me about 2-3’month to figure out the interior and all the gadgets and stuff I wanted to install. Everything took really long, because I would have an idea, I’d buy the materials, try it out, fail, come up with a new idea, fail, and keep doing that until I was happy. I made the side skirts 3 times, the rear spoiler 3 times, and each time I was spending 120$ for the lexan so prices added up And the learning process was frustrating. I would have all kinds of electrical problems and I redid all the wiring in the car like 6 times, until finally now everything works perfectly, I have a new fuse box and relays and everything in the trunk and I know exactly how everything works and what wire does what, and what’s labeled etc. Cost wise it took me 55k in parts total, no time costs included in that, just parts. Idk how much time I’ve spent on the car but I’ve got 3,000 photos/videos over the past 1.5 years and spent atleast 5 hours on it everyday, and at most 18 hours on it a day. There were days I had to wear gloves just to do body work because the skin on my fingers was gone from the sandpaper haha, and 2 times where I had to go to the doctor because I threw out my back from bending over to cut the car up in the beginning. I’d rate the build difficulty to get the body swapped on and welded at like a 7/10 difficulty, but the actual fit and finish, an 11/10, I’m still not done and still there’s things I’m trying to get to look perfect like the side exhaust and stuff. Hope that helps!
@@FurhadBuilds Bro thank you so much for not only the super fast reply but really giving me alot of helpful information. Honestly, its kinda upsetting because while the funds are there to do this job and the excitement and will to learn and do this myself is there....I just don't think I have it in me in terms of time commitment. 1.5 years going at least 5 hours every day is insane. I could probably do 5-10hours/day on the weekend, but no way anything close on the weekdays. The closest thing I have done is I went from tire rotations and oil changes to this past year I bought some hand tools from walmart and swapped a 2017 2.5 motor into a 2006 mazda miata...obviously nowhere close to what you've done but still enough to convince myself "i can do stuff with the power of youtube and trial and error" haha On the flip side I also don't want to be building a car for 4-5 years due to my limited time capacity. But who knows maybe things will change. I almost bought a 2015 mustang gt with a procharger on Thursday to get the ball rolling heck of a deal imo and perfect....but the warning signs of "you don't have the time rn to do this" just kept ringing in my ears and chickened me out. I think I saw somewhere that you were in Texas? *also I'm waiting for more vids and uploads if you've got 1.5 years of content lets goooo
@@save229 hey man glad to hear from you! Just wanted to push you on and say your want to keep trying and learning is extremely admirable and you can without doubt do stuff with the power of TH-cam and trial and error. If anything, the reason why I made this video was to prove that. I can’t tell you how many time and how many things on this car alone I was told I wouldn’t be able to do because I wasn’t an “expert”. Everytime something went wrong everyone suggested going to an “professional” or an expert. One thing I learned is that if you do enough research, you can be expert pretty darn quick when you’ve got resources like TH-cam available. So if you’re ever in doubt if you can, don’t be. YOU CAN. I totally get it, sometimes knowing you don’t have the time for a project that will indefinitely take a really long time can seem daunting; but that doesn’t mean you can do it, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try something else. You could 100% try so many other similar type builds. So many cool builds do be done, there’s always a ton of options. You got this my dude, never give up if you’ve got the will and passion to learn. As for the tools, I suggest looking for estate sales and things like that. I’ve been racking up and collecting tools for like 8 years now, but honestly the best deals I’ve gotten were at estate sales where the dude used to be into cars and they’d sell buckets of all their wrenches or sockets for like 100 bucks. It’s definitely so much cheaper than buying parts new, and the quality is usually really good. As dumb as it sound, I even set aside a part of my paycheck every month on “hobby” funds, and I consider it as investing in myself. Rather than going out or eating out or anything like that, I love to collect parts and tools and so I’ll always set aside cash every month to buy some random stuff and pretty soon your tools add up quick and the potential to do bigger projects grows quicker. But yeah man keep it up and never give up! You’re capable of more than you think, all it takes is that first step. Best of luck! I live in VA btw, and haha yeah I’ll probably post another updated video of the car soon. I dropped the car off to get some touch ups done from when I had messed up the paint, and it’s been 8 weeks they’ve had the car and I’m just waiting to get it back. It’s been driving me absolutely nuts, dude told me it’d take 2 weeks, and now it’s 2 months in and I still don’t have it, but I’ll definitely post so more stuff soon!

We bought the car when I was 15 and never got to build it so now I'm rushing to get it going. I have all the replacement panelsl to replace my frame rails and everything already. Hopefully I can get it driving and then make it look pretty later on in life.
So I think you’ve definitely got the right game plan, wishing you all the best! There’s no better day to start, than the present
Man you guys really outdid yourselves! Amazing car build!!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that!
Man she is beautiful! Great job!
Thanks so much!
Nice Build! Im a mopar guy but I respect all muscle cars
thanks so much! Mopar has some of my favorite cars on the planet! Some of my dream cars are the super bird and 70's challengers

@@blackenigma6777 right on! that's awesome!! Love the classic roadrunners and chargers!
So rad! You did awesome man!
Thanks my dude! Cool name!
Awesome build. Wanna sell it? Or build another one for me? Lol. Great job man.
haha i'll probably be selling it sometime in June when i get a few odd and end things completed and so i can start another project. But thank you so much!
Amazing build! Loved the video!
Thanks so much, much appreciated!
Wow! I see you are in Virginia, I’m in Va Beach struggling to get my 87 Fox together. Great work.
Outstanding work, looks excellent.
Thanks so much man!
WOOOOW!!! Good JOB!!!🚗🚗🚗Best video😎
Thanks so much!! 🙏
Wow which shop sponsored this build?
Must have an amazing team over there.
HUS COLLISION CENTER MANASSAS, home of my best and only friend Cameron Husseini.
This may well be one of the better body swaps I’ve seen! If your going to do it do it right never understood the tiny fender flares on some of the other builds
Thanks so much brotha! I appreciate it a bunch! Fortunately I didn’t have much of a choice with the flares 😂 love the extreme widebody look, and had to do it to cover the wider chassis of the 2018 gt
Wow looks amazing well done for all the hard work
Hello how are you doing today over there.
Thanks so much sir!
clean as heck man great job
😄
That thing is sick! Turned out amazing man👌
Thanks so much! I appreciate that a bunch!
Beautiful car, Mustang Forever!
Thanks so much, I appreciate it a bunch!
What a beauty keep going bro nice work
Thanks so much man!
Where did you get your wing and front spoiler?
Yo yo, big fan of your work my dude! Been watching your stuff for a while! Love the Porsche and big Bertha build! Wing I made out of lexan myself, front spoiler I made myself using the stock front spoiler as the base, added about 4 inches and molded it to the fenders using fiberglass
@@FurhadBuilds thank you! That is awesome to hear, i think I’m gonna have to make one myself. What did you use as the “struts” to hold them?
@@CaseysCustoms for sure! They’re just generic splitter rods off amazon.
Amazing car and huge inspiration I’m in the middle of building my 65 as well 🖤‼️

Thanks so much brotha!
You've got skill Sir - very nice build
Thanks so much!
Great work 🔥👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks so much!
Super travail😨🚘🚘💃
Gracias!
Skills are an understatement !
Quickest way to add 10 HP is to lose 10 lbs..
You all did a great job. My only question is why isn’t the Ford motor company doing this? Putting a classic mustang body on a modern chassis. I’m sure people would buy this over the e mustang suv
Seriously I would if they did!
Thanks a bunch! Honestly that’s a great question haha, I don’t think it’d be too tough for them to do and I think they’d get a massive pop from all the classic enthusiasts. Even if they did a limited production run, I’m sure they’d sell out and appreciate a ton over time.
Best body swap I have seen to date. Amazing. So clean and complete. Great work.
One complaint though. There are no fire breathing turbos. :(
What an amazing work. Congratulations
Thanks so much
that is so cool.
I am impressed it almost look like the hoonicorn.
Thanks! That’s the look I was going for!
@@FurhadBuilds I hope you race ken block lol
@@soundsofnature7427 haha hey that’d be an honor! Maybe I can get on the this vs that, but even if ken was driving backwards and only stayed in first gear, he’d still probably win 😂

Thanks!
I'd like to see more of this car.
I'll be posting some more photos and videos soon
For this I would convert to FORD, impressive is an understatement !
Thanks so much! That definitely means a ton!
It amazes me how you did all this in one video that's a beautiful car and when's the next build?
Thanks so much. Hahah, yeah man that's about 2 years of work in this videos, it took so long to sift through all the vids, it drove me nuts! That's a good question though haha, gotta save up some money because now i'm broke. But i'll definitely start one soon. I finished up a wide body subaru brz too a few months ago that i haven't posted any uploads (just waiiting on paint to finish) and also did a 69 camaro restored before which i may upload some vids of. But a new build, hopefully a 60's chassis swapped AWD truck or GT40 build AWD
Awesome!! Just what I’ve had in mind modern everything and classic look. With a Coyote engine awesome!!! I guess I don’t need to waste money on upgrading parts if I plan to do this eventually 😂
Man that's really sick 😮
Well done looks super good
Thanks so much, that's much appreciated!!
You went crazy bro 🤧🤧🤧
A wise man once said, “When in doubt, cut it out” 😂
Is it just me or do you work really fast. Lol. Good job.
Took about a year to get that done. Everyone I tell that to says one of two things “you must not have a girlfriend or kids” haha.
Furhad! Awesome build. I'm about to buy a 1970 chevelle. How much would you charge to give it widebody fenders?
Hey thanks so much for the message. Unfortunately I only do this as a hobby, and don’t work other peoples cars
Greet jop man..from which car did you get the dashboard??
Thank you, the dashboard is from the 2018 mustang
I am thinking about doing this type of body swap, however I want to keep closer to original styling on the sides. Do you think there is a need to have that wide of a body kit? I understand that it would have to be some math to shorten the rear end and front end width, or is there a loop hole. What you think? Sweet build man.
fucking AMAZING Job!!!! The best transformation, restoration, modification... U guyzz blow up the concept and my fukin mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey man I really appreciate that a lot, thanks so much!
When will yu do videos on driving itd maybe some pulls & racing?
Probably within the next week or so.
BROTHER!!! Please Continue!!
Brotha! For you, anything!! Thanks!
Hi. Nice Job. Did you bu the flares or fabricate them. I got planing ti do the same with my '65 convertible and don't find a site where I can buy them.
Hello, thanks! I got the flares from maier racing, the owner's name is charles maier, you can call him and he will tell you what flares i bought, they're from a line called "italian monster"
This was a great build guys
Thanks so much!
kinda looks like that mustang we get to drive at the beginning of need for speed payback
It's very-very-very cool!
Thanks!
Def got the idea from B is For Build but it looks great ,good job lads 🥂
oh 100% lol I even slowed down their Timelapses to like .25x the speed and used to take screenshots of their videos so I could figure out how they did things. Wish they could’ve finished the build when it was a fast back because the quality was insaneeeee! But thanks man!
@@FurhadBuilds no probs my guy it came out really good in the end. I wish they could've gotten theirs done as well cuz it would've been really sick 🤌🏼. At least we got to see your version of it .

I would love to see a more detailed build series on this, do you have more footage? Even if it was just with music, seeing some of the structural side of things would be great. I have subscribed in the hope that you will post some more! Cheers. :)
Yeah I’ve actually got a ton of footage on the car, we’ll over like 3,000 pics/vids so I can definitely post more detailed stuff. Thanks so much! Will post them soon!
@@FurhadBuilds awesome, I look forward to seeing it! :)
That build is the baddest thing I’ve seen in a while, and I’ve been looking at a lot cause I’ve a 66 project I’m trying to get some traction on….
I’ve got some decent electro mech skills, but I Wish I had some of your fab skills. How many hours do you have into this project?.
Ive been in the process of building my own but 67/18 for over a year but how did you get the windshield wipers in the stock location!! And absolutely amazing car I have watched this build probably 100+ times haha 😆.
Haha no way! Crazy small world! Glad to hear you’re working on a similar build. I used universal hot rod windshield wipers that use a cable type mechanism, i had to cut the cowl off and reweld it in place to do that.
This is insane bro
Thanks so much man!
Anywhere I can see more of this build? I.g. ,, facebook etc?? I also live I'm va. Cool ass build!!!
Oh right on dude, thats awesome! If you're ever at cars and coffee in sterling i might take it there sometime. But Honestly don't have any pics/vids anywhere else at the moment. I appreciate the kind words my man!
Dude. This thing is awesome
Nice work 💪🙏❤️👍

What fender flares are those? Are the side pipes functioning? Love the build. Great job
Thanks so much! Fender flares are from Maier Racing.
Oh and the side pipes currently aren’t functioning, but I’m in the process of making a super oval exhaust pipe that I’m going to try and run under the frame. Not a lot of ground clearance, so I’m trying by best to figure out a solution, but man it’s tough!
@@FurhadBuilds one more question for now. What’s the wheel and tire size and back spacing
@@michaelhughart4874 hey man no worries on the question. Tires all around are 275s and here’s actually a link on the wheels so you can see all the details :

@@FurhadBuilds same wheels all the way around?
The closest thing I have done is I went from tire rotations and oil changes to this past year I bought some hand tools from walmart and swapped a 2017 2.5 motor into a 2006 mazda miata...obviously nowhere close to what you've done but still enough to convince myself "i can do stuff with the power of youtube and trial and error" haha
On the flip side I also don't want to be building a car for 4-5 years due to my limited time capacity.
Great work bro 👍😀🛠🧔🎉
Thanks Man!
