    Thanks brother, we appreciate you sharing all your feedback. My son and I have been looking into the ice barrel but currently we use our large freestanding tub we’re just over buying tons of bagged ice, definitely appreciate you sharing the chiller hookup.

    You should make a video on DIY insulation techniques for the 400. A lot of people still love the 400 and would love to use it without a chiller having their water stay colder longer.

      I got mine recently, largely on the advice of this channel, which I appreciate. I'm a small business owner, so not made of money, but regardless of cost (obviously within reason) I can't recommend the 400 enough. I have received numerous benefits form my daily plunges far beyond what I expected, and for 1,200USD I expected quite a bit. If you're considering one and funds and space aren't an issue I highly recommend it. Cheers.

    Thanks for your videos. I have a cold pod and have been exploring some other options and based on your videos am leaning towards the 400. Any rumors about them making a 400 thats insulated? I'm in NJ. Would insulation help it not get as cold? Trying to keep at 45 degrees and as it gets colder here, probably will freeze, so if i can keep it in the 40s with insulation might be more apt to use it in the winter. Let me know if you could.

    I really like the 400. But I was thinking of buying an all in one chiller that also has the option to heat the water. Do you think the 400 is durable enough to handle 103 degree water ? Would the 300 or another option be better ?

    Does the chiller run 24 hours? or does it only need to be activated a 1 to 6 hours prior to plunging? If the schedule is to plunge first thing in the morning (0500) - would turning the chiller on at nite (10pm or 2200) allow for sufficient cooling? My cheap vinyl plunge is maintaining 65-70F in ambient air currently - so looking for a 15 degree drop in 6-7 hours seems reasonable. Might be helpful to get a range of hp to cooling range/time to reach guide.

      @DavidMausJr  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. But theres a few sub-questions to that one: 1. do i have a budget? 2. how much space do i have and can it be semi permanent or do i need to be able to move it easily? 3. Who all is going to be using it and how often?

    • @sandiegotri619
      @sandiegotri619 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DavidMausJr 1. No budget 2. Space is not an issue. Either semi-permanent or portable 3. Family of 3 but, most likely just one person who will be consistent at least 3-4 times a week.

    Ordered a 300 using your code, but I think I really want the 400. This is going in an apartment and I’m worried about the condensation I see on the 400. Is it excessive? Would a drip mat underneath be enough to contain it? Thanks!

    • @DavidMausJr
      @DavidMausJr  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s awesome! I love the 400. With the chiller setup like I have it does condensate quite a bit, but a drip may would more than likely contain it. It’s also on a stand so that helps too.

      Do you typically rinse before getting in or do you have on any lotions, deodorants, etc? I dont like to use much, maybe some hydrogen peroxide, but rinsing before helps a ton

    • @cflo40
      @cflo40 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @DavidMausJr After my bedtime shower, i usually lotion up, and then first thing in the morning, i would jump straight in. I figured that could be the cause, so i started rinsing first before going in to see if it helped. It's only been a week, so we'll see. Thank you.
