I've had my Ice Barrel 400 for a few weeks and absolutely adore it. I use it twice daily for 5-10 minutes and couldn't be happier with the results. If space and funds allow, I definitely recommend it.

I will admit I got mine from someone moving and did not want it any more. I bought a chiller and it works like a champ. I prefer the stand up vs the laying down. I have mine on the patio outside. I did wrap it and so far it holds temp. I try to plunge daily and sometimes I plunge after work when I am physically worked over. It is nice.

I agree, if you are doing regular cold plunges, a chiller is needed! I also prefer the vertical design. - Linds

The margin on this must be massive.

I got excited when you mentioned the Yukon for $900 with a chiller included. But I went to their site & it’s 900 for the tub and an extra 2,698 for the chiller. Or do you guys have some type of discount code that opens up the $900 price with chiller included?

CORRECTION: "Yukon costing $900 that comes with a chiller"... is NOT true, its just for the tub ONLY. Which is also a glorified blow up tall kiddy pool. Add ~3k-4k for the chiller

Thanks for the review. It shouldn’t be over 1k, if it was insulated maybe.

I've been using this almost all year and while during the fall and winter months where I live it's been so great, now that it is getting hot it is just a pain. Definitely not worth the price tag on it! - Linds

I’ve thought about getting one of these fancy cold plunges but after taking cold showers, I’ve decided buying one of these things is just not necessary. Cold showers are free, require no maintenance or extra space.I know they aren’t quite as cold as these things can get but the fact that the water is constantly flowing over you removes heat so fast. When you try to Google if cold showers are a viable alternative it’s just a bunch of propaganda by the companies that make these $10,000 cold tubs saying they’re not. The people who argue that showers don’t work as well are trying to justify their expensive and probably unnecessary purchase.

Cold water running over half of the top 1/5 of your body is completely different than an ice bath.

@@ChrisP3000x you may want to buy a different shower If only your top 1/5 is getting wet. I think you got ripped off.

@@christopherp.3479 I figured you wouldn't understand the difference in regards to submersion. And yes, of course the entire body eventually gets wet in a shower. Drips vs submersion are completely different, but keep living the delusion.

Cold showers and an ice plunge are two completely different things, full stop.
