  • This 20 minute all in one workout includes a Warm Up, Balance Work, Cardio and Strength Work, and Cooldown. The Cardio and Strength portion of the workout has three sets of heart pumping cardio in 30 second rounds and two sets of upper body strength work.
    The workout can be done with bodyweight only or weights during the Strength segment.
    Balance Work
    ✅ Toe tap forward and back
    ✅ Knee up with Opposite Hand Touch
    Cardio Work - 30 second rounds
    ✅ Double mini squat/Arms Up
    ✅ Skater with Side Punches
    ✅ Knee Up with Opposite Arm Up
    ✅ Arms Up with Turns Right, Center and Left
    Strength Work
    ✅ Overhead Press
    ✅ Overhead Press with Bicep Curl
    ✅ Row
    ✅ Row with Tricep Kickback

    I just did this one, and have to say thanks for doing these!!! I’m 32 and a former athlete. But have since had some cardiac issues and have lost my endurance and ability to push my heart rate too hard. I needed exercise that got me moving, but at a safe level. I started searching for gentle exercises, and found yes2next! So rest assured, this is not only great for seniors, but also those of all ages with medical issues that may be holding them back from more intensive workouts :) It’s perfect, And I do feel a difference!

      I am a single mother and went to keep fit about 6-7 years ago for several years once a week for 1 hour, I felt great, I felt lost when the keep fit classes shut down,I need to lose 4-5 stones,your exercises have given me that strength to lose weight,I also have a mental illness since 2001 your exercises help me mentally to.thank you very much April and mum I feel great even though I've been doing your exercises nearly every day 4-5 weeks.

      Yes Audrey, these hubby’s will do anything, he wasn’t satisfied with breaking his thumb he then got food poisoning and was bedridden for a week, I hasten to add the food poisoning wasn’t on my watch….

    Hello, I recently found your channel and have been exercising almost practically every day with you both. I have to say this is a very unique channel that I very much enjoy. I love the fact that you’re probably my age and then there’s your mom who is around my mothers age. I am trying to encourage my mother to get healthier along with me by hopefully exercising with you guys. I love that I’m gonna be 51 soon and even though I can move a little faster than your videos I feel safe and I feel like it’s affective enough and gentle enough where I can actually enjoy my exercise. Thank you so very much and I’m very proud of your mom for taking her health serious she is amazing. Sometimes she goes faster than I can which is really something! Thank you so much for all that you offer people like me and my mother. God bless you keep up the good work right there with you guys!     Sometime between Dec. 17 & the first of 2022, I found you😃❣️I had breast cancer surgery Nov. 9, 2021. They got it all. Before surgery, I had a very rigorous regime of chemotherapy. Four chemo drugs at once. It took its toll & my surgery was delayed a month. Dec. 17th was my first immunotherapy treatment. I felt great & started doing seated exercises. By the end of Feb. , the doctor decided that the drug was doing too much damage to my kidneys & liver. I went back on 2 of the chemo drugs I was on prior to surgery. Now, I am fatigued all the time. My kidneys have recovered but not my liver. But my weight & my neuropathy continue to increase. Two days ago, I decided I needed to get back to exercising. So I have-with you😁❣️ Love your mom❣️❣️❣️Hopefully, when I reach her age, I will still be exercising💖. Thank you April for doing these videos. FYI: back in the early days of ballet, exercises at the barre took longer than present day barre work. Thus, they were much stronger😃❣️SLO MO means STRONGER💝❣️ Alexia (using R’s account)

    Thank you! I'm not motivated by "looking good at the beach", I just want to keep moving without the aches and pains. I love that I can move with you and have "senior options" for days after over exertion. On a good day I can pick up the speed and do more rotations while you explain. I can step away from the computer (or kitchen!) multiple times a day for a short session of self-care with any one of your videos. I love your set, music and gentle mood. I love that your sneakers match. No distractions. After every video I feel like I've been to the spa for a massage.🥰

    Love, love, love these exercises! I had been doing a "Mile Walk in Fifteen Minutes" on another TH-cam channel, but they were too hard on my knees. I'm 74. Yours are perfect! And that stiffness in the AM we feel as we get older is gone! YAHOO! Love that your mom is there too! You are a great combo!

    Like this. I am new subscriber who tried 7000 steps for seniors past week and half and enjoyed it, but am painfully aware of lack of upper arm strength so am trying this video for week or so. Doing it without weights today…hopefully, will advance quickly. The cardio is great for such a short workout. So glad I found your site. 👏👏👏👏

    I'm so happy to find you! Before covid I was going to the gym and had just started working with a trainer. Fast forward to now, I gradually let covid overwhelm me and I stopped exercising and am trying to get rebooted. Your workouts are terrific!!     An all in one workout is so nice, for us to keep in mind that cardio, weight training, balance and flexibility are all components of a well rounded exercise program. Too often I find myself just walking, I justify it by telling myself it's better than nothing, but if there were more workouts with it all, maybe I and others would focus more often on incorporating all the aspects of how to get and stay fit. Thanks again for all you do, you ladies are truly such valuable and appreciated componants of my life.💝💑💪

    Thank you for taking time to demonstrate the "side view" of the workouts. I have an issue with depth perception and the side view helps me perform the exercises.
