I have sat on the 3rd of both the seats and believe me xuv700 feels more claustrophobic...u literally wont be able to see the front view...middle row seats r so high it will block your view...and he worst part is middle seats cannot be moved...

Safari gold vs XUV 700
I was looking for 7 seater and my quest ended with XUV700. Alcazar is obviously no comparison. Very small and tight in comparison. Real competition is safari in diesel but even then XUV has some edge. No competition at all in petrol and that too in AT. Very well placed product by Mahindra.

Totally wrong bro, I’m too confused between these two and as a matter of fact alcazar has longer wheelbase and the middle row slides to make better space in the third row which is not the case in XUV, the middle row in XUV doesn’t slide and hence it’s tighter than alcazar in the third row.

alcazar engine is 1.5 crdi, where as xuv700 engine is 2.2, more engine power less mileage, I drove alcazar and felt so much of comfort, 1.5 engien is sufficent for alcazar .

as per my knowledge 2.2 litre engine is new and not tested. While creta engine is well tested in India as well as overseas. There is a chance 2.2 might outperform but still it is not clear, so it's better for now to consider Alcazar engine is better because on average Hyundai diesel engines are refined than compared to M&M.

And to be frank most people won't use the full power of XUV 700 in their daily drive. I took a test drive of Alcazar with 6 people and it was not thrilling but powerful enough to climb mountain.
