Tata safari should be compared with JEEP COMPASS and not ALCAZAR. Alcazar is not even near compass and safari's driving and safety levels. They are real beasts. alcazar is just a box full of features. The real car lovers will never choose hyundai cars.

I think,among NEXON,SAFARI & HARRIER;NEXON IS A BETTER DEAL OF BOTH WORLD.
The only problem with tata is infotainment screen. If you buy a 20 lakh you should get atleast 8 inch screen

Your videos are very crisp and to the point. Never tried but your car buyer section looks promising too. Maybe a customer wishlist can be added. Harrier should have 4 discs, electronic parking brake, tilt second row seats, one touch up / down, ventilated seats, 360 degree camera and wireless charger. I know it seems a lot but most can be given as extra accessories for those who want it.
The effort you made while opening & closing the boot door, it clearly shows us the build quality of Alcazar & Safari, Tata is the best

Thanks bro going to buy alcazar because in the pricing safari is quiet expensive in compare to alcazar. Theres a lot of difference between both if we talk about price. Thats why my choice is to go for alcazr also reason that we already have harrier.

Safari is a more driver enthusiast car and only good for families with tall people or adults.
Alcazar is way more family friendly. When outing with your family no one will be interested in how punchy your engine is, it is the features in the car that will keep them occupied. Imagine sitting in the second row lounging when suddenly the car plunges forward during your sweet time…
Moreover, if you want a very spacious third row, why don't you just go for a full size suv? Third rows in mid size suvs are best suited for kids and short trips for adults. Watch other car reviews from other countries then you'll see what I mean.
In terms of design both are great (though personally I'm not a fan of tata harrier and safari' s bulged out front). Looks don't define a car as you don't spend your time hanging on the roof of the car. Interiors matter much more.
About the suspension...
Alcazar-soft- good for city, gets the job done on highways.
Safari- stiff- good for highways and hills only at faster speeds, okayish in city and bumpy on potholes at lower speeds.
Anyways while driving on highways, people usually avoid potholes and don't go over them so it doesn't matter.
In terms of exterior build quality definitely safari is better, but around the same of alcazar when it comes to interiors. Anyways we dont buy a car to crash it. If you crash on a highway at fast speeds you are bound to die or go to hospital no matter what car.
The difference in interior cabin width is only about 7.5 cm, so the space difference 'feel' you get in the safari is only because of the interior colour.
In terms of handling (opinions may differ) safari engine is effortless but the steering wheel requires effort and will ultimately tire you out on longer drives.
Safari is good if you are an enthusiast driver and have larger passengers. But if you have a normal family with kids, the alcazar is better.
Boot space- definitely alcazar, shame on tata for such a small boot even after lengthening the car.
I really feel for 20 lakhs even if tata had to give a small screen it should have been non-laggy.
Reliability and Service- Hyundai without question, but Tata is catching up.
I'm sorry if I was too biased towards Hyundai, but that's because out of these two I loved the alcazar more as it appeals to modern families more than the safari.
Purely from a driver enthusiast view or a from a family with taller people's view, I would go for the safari. This is also precisely why Alcazar is selling way more than the safari.
P.S - To everyone who says Safari is a segment above Alcazar- It's not. Both are 6/7 seater mid-size suvs. Neither is safari comparable to full size suvs nor is alcazar an mpv.
Innova crysta is a minivan , but due to its Suv like performance and characteristics it may be compared to here as well. :)

And can we request for ownership costs of various vehicles, covering all the aspects of fuel cost, maint cost, insurance and resale vale at different life stage of vehicle e.g. 5 yrs, 7/8 yrs, 10 yrs and 15 yrs. As there are no ownership cost videos available on net (no trustworthy one atleast). That video will be great and make the experience of motoroctane a step ahead.

1st i thought to buy Hyundai after seeing features but when I took test of Tata Safari.. My thought is now changed.. Seriously Safari looks stunning on road. The pickup, handling & breaking capacity was awesome!! Safari run through potholes & small speed breaker easily.. I am going to book the white XZ on this Dasherha ☺️
