I see a lot of people thrashing Hyundai in the comments, be grateful that the company exists in India. It is the largest car exporter from India. I.e it not only builds cars in India but also exports cars to other countries by making it in India (i e giving employment to Indians), moreover it is the Hyundai which always keeps setting new standards for looks and features in their respective segment (right from ventilated seats, integrated sun-blinds, big and smooth touch-screen infotainment systems to wireless chargers, air-purifiers and Sunroof). Because of them, other manufacturers have also started giving more features. If you don't want to buy, then don't, but don't thrash the company.

I own alcazar diesel mid variant manual. I get mileage of 17 km per litre. I love the car. I liked the boxy design. I did not like the xuv 500 side profile especially towards the rear. Seltos had the same thing. The car looks bigger from front and smaller from side profile. Xuv 700 has 2.2 litre mhawk diesel. Hence affordable only for rich people.

I have XUV700 diesel manual... I am getting average of 19kmpl on highways if drove below 100kmph... within city i am getting 14kmpl...
I have calculated the average by tank to tank method..
This new M-Hawk engine is just phenomenal.. if u want average you will get that.. if you are in a mood for power then just touch the pedal and in no time it touches 180... its astonishing to see that even after 140 if you floor the pedal you will get pulled in your seat... Loving it...

Lower variants of xuv 700 don't have even the basic features, if you want all the features u hv to spend around 26 lakhs to 27lakhs for top variant whereas in the middle segement of alcazar you will get all the features in around max 22 lakhs

I have XUV700 diesel manual... I am getting average of 19kmpl on highways if drove below 100kmph... within city i am getting 14kmpl...
I have calculated the average by tank to tank method..
This new M-Hawk engine is just phenomenal.. if u want average you will get that.. if you are in a mood for power then just touch the pedal and in no time it touches 180... its astonishing to see that even after 140 if you floor the pedal you will get pulled in your seat... Loving it...

The feature available at alcazar can easily ve installed in xuv7OO after market. But xuv7OO features cannot be installed aftermarket like adas, auto booster headlamps etc... so according to me xuv7OO is much greater option rhan alcazar because of 90 bhp more powerful engine, more speed , more features and yeah more spacious and better road presence and design than alcazar.
