It's weird how a man with a cam is able to show more free practice footage than both the WEC and IMSA social media teams. Great work, may a tons of views arrive to this video

@Giambe X Well, in the case of wec, yes, since they are run by a group of elitists FOR elitists. IMSA, however, are totally diferrent on how they treat their fans and how the market their product. One can see, over the years, the result of their philosophy. Great series to follow!

@@NeedforMine1 WEC also does it but not as efficient as Imsa, they take a couple weeks meanwhile Imsa has the replays 1 week later at max

I've had a quick look and the price of a ferry or train to France is like three times as much as a Saturday ticket for the event, are you paying this or are you going from a agent who does it cheaper? I'd be driving by myself from England to Spa

What strikes me the most about these race cars, and this video footage does an excellent job of illustrating it, is the incredible cornering speeds these cars are capable of. The profound value of aerodynamic downforce is readily apparent.

@@SH-gd2vs Only got to do the 12hr twice. 1975 2nd overall, behind BMW. 1977 1st overall. The 5.2 mile circuit ('52-'82) was really challenging.

The Peugeot Hypercar is absolutely mint. Endurance racing has hit a sweet spot, you'd say, with the introduction of the Hypercar class. It's so good to see such a variety of manufacturers and concepts out there.

Question from a newbie beginning to follow the endurance racing scene this season. Is there any particular reason I am seeing teams use the older 488 GT3 and 991.2 "RSR" used here in the WEC races and not the newer 296 GT3 and 992 RSR scene in IMSA so far? Thanks! P.S. thank you Lanky for continually providing this high-quality content, especially for newcomers like myself!
In WEC the GTE Category is still used so these are no GT3 Machines.
they aren't GT3 spec but they are GTE spec. Next year you will see GT3 cars just like in GTWC, IMSA, DTM
Next year when GT3 class arrives you'll see those in WEC (along with lambos, mercs, mclarens and all the other GT3 brands probably)
