Nice mix of engines running in garage at beginning! R.I.P. Marcello Gandini
0:55 a good ol' kick can fix it right in haha
And it was a practiced kick. Not the first time he's done that! 😀
That guy wins
Love it...even million dollar cars need some shades tree mechanic torquing now and then....
Haha a little kung fu in the paddock
damn, that gold livery on the 01 Caddy is insanely cool
whoa the new gold paint job of the Caddy and Corvette is so cool
Agreed, it looks awesome in both cars.
I'm always stoked for Lanky's first videos of the weekend. Cheers.
Cheers!
Lanky Turtle sure gets around. Great shots, LT!
Thanks! Yeah I always get wore out there walking around haha
Thanks Lanky - Great videos as usual. Hope you have a great time at the races this weekend.
Thanks! Yeah it was a great time
Cadillac having a good front is something I didn’t know I needed, go Cadillac!
beautiful machine that Corvette!!!
Thank you, as always, for bringing us these sights and SOUNDS!!
Good to see "Spike" in action again.
The spot you had at the beginning enter 1 shooting towards them exiting. Fantastic spot!
I love watching them bouncing through there
The best racing video on the Tube. The editing is superb. 👌 👏
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it!
Word around the paddock is that David Land is wanting to name T7 after you. I say it's a good idea!
Haha I saw that on his video!
That Lambo surprised me quite a bit in practice 2. Cairoli seems to be fast in whatever he’s in
That Mustang, wow!
David Land shouted you out in his vid! Great upload as usual 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾
Thanks! I saw that earlier haha
2:40 the star of the show 🦖🦖🦖 and Mr Turtle also for the great shot
7:37 I really love the anti lag on the Acura. sounds so good
A great preview for the upcoming race. Can’t wait. As alway, a magnificent presentations. Thanks for posting, LT. And 6:30, in the sunshine the gold livery on the Covette looks AWESOME!
Thanks Eddie! Yeah it was neat seeing all the gold cars this year
Those astons look very stable and compliant over the bumps
Great filming fella, much appreciated here in the UK 👍
Thanks for watching from the U.K.!
Thanks for the video. Looking forward to getting there Friday.
Thanks for bringing to us this amazing video.
my fave - under 1:00 here your footage of Iron Dames ! they've tasted VICTORY, passing you on the inside 🏁
I was checking yt all day for the upload lol
floppa in the HOUSE ! channel with caracal (s) ? your YT vids are sweet.
@@mrwest5552 Lol I don’t own any caracals but I’ve been a big fan of them and the Floppa meme since it started in 2020
I am ready for this race. It’s gonna be a banger as always. Thanks Lanky
Excellent stuff.
2:34 Corvette 🔥
Agree...that color is awesome.
That's not a Corvette, it's a Ferrari 488 with an identity crisis.
@@still_guns weird, it sure sounds like America when it goes by?
America isa crossplane V8, not that wet fart machine
Harsh but humorous.@@still_guns
Awesome thank you
I was waiting for upload!
Awesome. The shots at the 10:00 mark I feel really show off the cars and their sounds
Thanks LT!
MAN Sebring is a bumpy track!
Well, much like Silverstone, it's based on a former military air field. The difference is that one has been worked and paved for decades to suit Formula 1, while the other was not changed too much but kept the major bits intact.
It's why many manufacturers have chosen to test and engineer their cars at Sebring. That harshness shakes out many possible issues that can be addressed before the season, including Le Mans.
IMSA is getting so international that I thought this was WEC for a second.
Fantastic footage. One day soon I really need to get myself to an IMSA race and Sebring is looking like a great candidate.
Do it!! Went to my first one at Mid-Ohio five years ago and went there again every year until switching to Road America last year. Definitely take advantage of touring the open paddock as well.
@@speedydb55 Coming from the western side of Australia it's more easier to travel to the east coast of the US and as there are one stop flights to Miami Sebring is top of my list. But also would love to do COTA. Decisions decisions.
Sebring is awesome! I was there for Super Sebring last year. There are bridges over the track that are public walkways, you can get right up behind the pit crews, it's not awful to walk from one corner to the other, there's places where you can get pretty close to the track... Plus, Sebring is super special #respectthebumps
Thanks! I highly recommend it!
COTA is actually a pretty good track for general admission considering it's a modern F1 track. Huge fences everywhere but the elevation changes make for some good sightlines. I've been there twice for F1 and once for WEC and am going again this year for WEC.
Just awesome as always. Thanks a lot
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Some great shots - thanks much Lanky!
Thanks!
I’ve heard Sebring is a car killer with the surface as bump as bush track.
But this footage from the Legend they call Lanky is off the charts.
Check the bumps at the 5:13 mark .. the car was a like a kangaroo 🦘
Yeah I can't believe how much those P2 cars bounce through there and still maintain traction
Love the vids can’t wait for the race?
We've always heard how bumpy it is but the great shots of them entering T1 with that bump throwing the inside front into the air make it quite visual! Bummed I won't get to see the SC63 at Laguna this year. Hope they go to full season in the future. Planning to get up early tomorrow to watch the start and then check in through the day. WTR Andretti needs to nickname one of the cars Chewy.
I'd have to imagine Lambo will run the full season next year, hopefully with 2 cars. They should do a whole Chewbacca theme on one of the Acuras the way the "Spike" P2 car or "Rexy" Porsche are
Awesome stuff mate!
Thanks Dave!
Great Video - Thanks
Thank you!
Those gold liveries on the 01 Cadillac and Corvettes are fire. What’s the occasion?
@ZPaul_ - agreed. Mobil 1 is celebrating an anniversary in 2024 with gold liveries, maybe ? them. i didn't confirm ahead.
Mobil 1's 50th birthday
Thanks LT. I wonder if I could even get in there w a U-hall truck like in the 70s n 80s?. Great vids, thanks for your effort.
Thanks Steve, I think you can bring in a uhaul but you'd probably have to pay the RV parking fee for it.
Very nice video....!!! Thanks LT
Thank you!
camera work is amazing! please dont stop posting these lol
Thanks! Not planning to stop anytime soon
Penske!!!! LETS GOOOOOO
0:54 Precision installation techniques!
Haha give it the ol' boot
I was surprised about how high the lmd cars were. Possibly because they get ccompressed a lot due to downforce
@lankyturtle I am at this race this weekend where do you usually set up? Love your videos all the time
Thanks! I hope you had fun there, I just come in a car and wander all around
They have already Named as GTLM (GT Le Mans) from 2017, Now it's the GTD Pro in 2024 season!
8:39 was expecting this spot a little longer
Hope the wing struts survive on the Mustang!
5:12 - someday we will get a racing sim that violently gives force feedback at Sebring like these guys, how can AAA racing games not get Sebring right? I want to feel my wrists snapping around like a jet fighter acrobat on the final turn, not gently lulling me to sleep with only traction issues...
First time going to Sebring, What turns do you suggest to be at to take pictures throughout the day?
Hope you had fun! I would have suggested just walking the whole track to all of the turns, each one has its own character, I find the turn 3-5 area really good for photos
Lanky, are you a Corvette owner?
No I don't make Corvette money, I drive a 2009 Saab
9:25 hnnng
idk why do most asian and european circuits are more shiny and well maintained than america
The track was crowded, hey? Looked like a bunch of installation laps out there. (Not trying to be a dick)
Something just not right, when a prototype rolls by and it sounds like a golf cart.
Pretty standard for a car to sound like that under braking with no acceleration.
@@coyy9106 was referring to when they're rolling through the pits on electric power.
There should be no restrictions on performance this shit keeping everything even there’s no competition hookah, build the fastest race car, bullshit
Those mustangs look terrible though the bumps
Too bad it is a crap circuit.
What?
Stick to your yearly repaves over there in EU. Go race at Spa and leave the real men tracks for us
@@mozo191 Sebring is like skiing in the NE. If you can drive, survive and win there, you have a good chance of doing that anywhere. Got to love these old school State side tracks.
2:40 I thought Rexy was going to attack
Haha He's coming right at us!
