I was there today. The Nascar's sound was just so powerful compared to the other already loud cars. You could hear it coming and know it was that car.
I guess not, as the caddy sound similar
@Hugo Cheung similar sound in that they're pushrod V8s...but a Nascar engine is a different breed.

@@mitchellsteindler The Cadillac doesn't have a pushrod motor, it's a clean-sheet DOHC V8.
I was at the actual NASCAR race this weekend and holy hell even compared to other nascar series, the cup cars motor and exhaust is just WILD

The NASCAR sounds a lot like the previous gen Corvette C.7 R! Which is obviously not a bad thing!

That Peugeot Hypercar is just the coolest looking car in Motorsport at the moment. Nice to hear all the different powertrain configurations out there too.
Agree if only the had a rear wing that would be cool and faster as well I hope they didn't start in the pits again 🗿
@@diethersantos6404 It's cool because of the absence of the rear wing and they have better pace than Toyota in testing with them being number 2 under ferrari wich have been leading with the best lap times so no need to worry.
Mhm will be rooting for that awesome car.
The sound of NASCAR at Le Mans wasn’t something I thought I needed. But here we are.

Let me tell you, the caddie is a sound to behold in person, literally something that took my breath away, rattled the grandstands, felt it in my chest, hurt my ears through my earphones, oh yea the thing is truly a monster

Camaro as well as Caddi sounds awesome. And I still love the RSR sound although it seems quieter to me than the years before
It is the GT3 R. Still loud but nowhere near as loud as the RSR from 2017-2019
@@floppa933the Porsche in the video is the rsr still, but it is the rsr-19 variant which has a quieter exhaust note than the ones in 2017 & 2018

I love the loud Caddy and Camaro but I'm ngl the smooth hum of the Ferrari 499p also gets me in a completely different way. Not to mention the amazing loud crack of an upshift of the Porche 911, used to be the loudest thing at Le Mans, not anymore 😂

It was. It's the Garage 56 entry. It's a modified NASCAR Cup car.

@@toddburgess6792 No, garage 56 is the dedicated entry spot for one off/innovative cars. The Delta Wing was a G56 entry. It’s not racing in any class.

It's the sound that will make me miss being there in person - even if they're all a bit quieter than 10-20 years ago, that unique difference between them all gets lost on the TV broadcasts. Still, had to make my choice, and the Nurburgring 24 won for me this year, so can't complain!
Ever since I saw the Steve McQueen film Le Mans as a kid I've loved this race, I've never been, but watch it every year on TV, but to be honest, I prefer the early years before it became sanitised with the chicane's on Mulsanne and electronics on the cars, what it must be like driving that magnificent track and being flat out down Mulsanne just feeling everything by the seat of your pants, no gadgets or gizmos, just pure driver skill, and to win it must have been a hell of a rush, can't wait for the start 🕒🏁
I hear you loud and clear. As a fan since The Daytona Continental back in the day, and the 1965 Le Mans 24 Heurs du Mons, I've been a huge fan of endurance racing. Especially when the racing was analog and "drive by the seat of your pants." Derek Bell's description of flying down the Mulsanne at up to 240 mph "in the middle of the night," for gawd's sake, in his Rothmans Porsche 962 is the stuff of other worldly dreams!
Nascar car and the Cadillacs LMDh have the best sounds.
Ferraris are a silent menace. Quiet but very fast.

It feels weird seeing the new top dogs aren't toyota in testing. They won all the other races but le mans is the most important and prestigious. Will be interesting seeing other cars like the 9x8 and 499p 963 and such on the mulsanne. Exciting.

Well the cars have always been incredible, it's just the format that I'd say is harder to get into these days with playoffs etc.

If I'm not wrong, I think the general consensus is that the Peugeot was always aiming for Le Mans, so hopefully yes?
