I want to leave London (UK) an dmove to Calgary. How cold and dark does it get during winter (I hate the cold)? I stopped off in Calgary and the people were lovely and warm.
It will be much colder than London though its a dry and bright climate (winter averages in Calgary are well sub zero temperature) the cost of living is much lower in Calgary though compared to London, I actually love visiting London but its too expensive to move there (from Glasgow). I also love Canada though but the cost of living in the Toronto area has sky rocketed in recent years, but the winter will be tough so best take up winter sports
