    Beautiful house checking all the boxes for most of our needs. Loved the access to school from backyard. This becomes handy in winters

    Calgary is much cheaper than Ontario that is 100% but winter is longer and much colder.

    The house doesn’t look too big for a price tag of 550k $. That too in Calgary.
    Real Estate seems poor value for money in Canada.

    The separate small little exclusive dining space had me floored the moment I saw it - loved it! Today, 99 out of 100 houses have an open plan where everything runs into everything with no seclusion (not my cup of tea).

      This new comer dont know shit but makes video and make fools of other new comers. The house dont even have brick walls from outside - That itself drops he price. Second if you take mortgage of 25 years basically you will pay double the amount of mortgage you pull to the bank of the amount you initially borrowed.

    I have been there. Bad job scenario and severe winters compared to Ontario.
    I still prefer GTA.
    Prices are reduced in suburbs near GTA

      You have a proper summer, it's the sunniest city in Canada, look it up !.
      Also the winters are not that bad as it is made to be. Look up Chinooks, it's warm periods in the winter . Good luck

      I can only say that’s a myth. It’s not in Calgary. I mean, yes, we had temperatures touching 30 degrees but only for 2-3 days. Same as Toronto. You can also google that Calgary has more sunny days than Toronto. I have spent one entire winter in Toronto and now in Calgary. I have not seen much difference. And comparing other benefits, this point will not matter because weather conditions are not that bad in Calgary. May be in different cities of Alberta and thanks to Chinook winds.

    I have no idea what just happened but every time it switched back to English I got happy. What does Taykah mean. Your friend say taykah so much I don’t like that word lol it sounds very weird. When you speak English he starts speaking other language and saying taykah. Then when you speak the other language he starts speaking English he says right right right. It’s not the word taykah it’s just the way he says it that bother me haha. Anyways congrats on the house, the language switching just got me thinking a lot about it.

      It's a myth. Calgary doesn't come under such extreme weather condition. I spent winters in Toronto and now in Calgary. Not much difference. Calgary has more no. of sunny days than Toronto in winter. It's true for other cities of Alberta but not for Calgary. Yes, temperature could touch -30 but that's for a couple of days same as Toronto. It's touching 35+ right now. Also, typically winter is for 6 months like Toronto. Rest of the months are so beautiful. Also, when u see other parameters, then u won't consider extreme weather which is also a myth.

    Houses are cheap but value increase is very slow in Calgary as compared to Toronto and Vancouver where the prices double in just 5 years depending on the mkt.
