Why won't Samsung include actuators in the keyboard case? The iPad stays where you position it. If you haven't got space for the kickstand you're just constantly readjusting the screen. They could at least license the job to Spigen or Anker
Yes but I wouldn't recommend changing from a laptop. A lot of pc apps that you use wouldn't work very well on a tablet because this runs an arm chip and pc/laptops run on x86. And the level of power that a laptop can provide, a tablet simply can not. Btw if you want to switch for personal use (netflix etc). Then its a great choice
It can do many lite work things like word processing, PowerPoint, excel, email, note taking, conference calling etc. But it's not ment for coding or serious video editing (professional) or running most custom software programs that certain office environments may have. It is the best used as a casual computer for watching Netflix or TH-cam, surfing the web, playing mobile games, messing about on things like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, messaging, FaceTime and emails. I use my tablet 99% of the time and my PC 1% at home. If anything it may turn you into a vidiot. Mine goes everywhere especially the gym for cardio sessions, plug in my buds and watch a episode of Netflix the Witcher as I jog or stationary bike. I used to be an iPad guy until I used the iPad pro and the s7+ for 2 weeks, I returned the iPad pro and never looked back. Why won't Samsung include actuators in the keyboard case? The iPad stays where you position it. If you haven't got space for the kickstand you're just constantly readjusting the screen. They could at least license the job to Spigen or Anker
Could be nice for video editing if there is good software for it
I've never used a tablet for work. Always been a laptop person. Does Chrome work with its extensions in tablets?
Yes
Yes but I wouldn't recommend changing from a laptop.
A lot of pc apps that you use wouldn't work very well on a tablet because this runs an arm chip and pc/laptops run on x86.
And the level of power that a laptop can provide, a tablet simply can not.
Btw if you want to switch for personal use (netflix etc). Then its a great choice
Dex is incredibly powerful
@@panacheautomotive4298 no, chrome does not have that many plugins
Now I am not super invested into the apple ecosystem so this isn't a option for everyone.
I just want to ask if the S8+ keyboard is compatible with the S7+?
Doubtful. Samsung accesories usually doesn't fit newer model even though dimensions may be similar.
@@buzzy3970 but s7+ keyboard work on galaxy tab s7 fe
That's different. The tab S7 FE is a lower bugdet model of the Tab S7+. I'm referring to model differences like the tab S6 to tab S7. Hopefully I'm wrong about the S8, but Samsung is never generous in accessory department. We always have to spend more money on the new device lol
@James Walker the s7 fe keyboard is what the pre-order on the s8 and s8 plus is shipping with. I just found this out and canceled my s8 plus pre-order and got the ultra so I got the premium keyboard with back-lit. The price difference between the two was less than it would have cost to buy the upgraded s7 plus keyboard
@@shaunharrison9618 I see, so the s8 ultra keyboard works on your s7 fe?
Coming from s7 plus upgrading to s8 ultra is a no Brainer especially with the $600 trade in bonus and free keyboard cover $349 value.
What’s that purple thing
Well I really enjoy my Tab s7+ to make a upgrade for the 8 Ultra at this moment, but if found a good selling offer for my 7+ maybe I upgrade!
They have trade in deals. I got my s8 ultra for 500
Samsung is giving 550 for my tab s7... samsung is Definitely being aggressive
600 trade in value.
@@josecarrera5508 I also have the Samsung keyboard of the tab s7+ it will add a $100 more!
Colors????...great video👏
Will Tab S7 get update till Android 15 or 14 ?
Chelynn has gotten much better as a presenter over the last year or so. Wasn't keen to watch videos on the channel with her before but she's been killing it lately. But otherwise excited to see the tab s8 plus since personally the ultra is too big for my liking
out of curiosity, what used to be wrong with her?
@@fallback8314 She came across as overly rehearsed and stiff. She seems a lot more relaxed and natural with her presentations
Cant wait. Got the s22 Ultra and as a gift Samsung discounted the Tab 8 ultra and book cover keyboard for a little over $500. Going to give content creation a crack with all this tech.... Upgrading from S7 & a 2015 Tab A. 🤯🤯🤯
how?
@@teamkaskas I feel like the window for getting the tab 8 discount was only available for about an hour. I ordered immediately when preorders when up. My wife hesitated the deal was not showing up for her then the site went crazy. She ended up buying just the phone from bestbusy and a $200 giftcard promotion
Probably her very first polite in-hands first impression video for Samsung tab plus is it just me or she did not even mention ipad for once as a reference here. That's amazingly shocking. Lol
Are ppl really going to use this beast for shooting vid and taking pics, AWKWARD!!
Is palm rejection improved? When I draw, the palm rejection doesn't work properly, so I can't even use the Galaxy Tab, so I'm using an iPad.
4:50
@@MtnXfreeride It seems that palm rejection works well with the Samsung Note. I wonder if palm rejection works well in other apps as well. Especially in the drawing app.
@@user-dkdkfodi12ad1 I doubt that since Samsung is not even giving an effort into optimizing Android drawing apps when they LITERALLY have the MONEY to do so😀🙄
can the S-pen be attached to the side now instead of the back?
I think so
Yes. You can do this on the tab s7 too
Great quick review, Thank you
What's with the camera bump?!
I love how all the s-pens were facing the wrong way
Digital artist here....I need this. I wish they had test models available.
Go to the shops to check the demo units. They all have clip studio paint demo installed
The most important information that she did not mention deeply is the CPU and performance of the Tab S8. Hardware wise, Tab S8 Ultra is a HUGE jump from the Tab S7+. Maximum ram is now 16 gb which is great for heavy duty editing and gaming. It's using the newest Snapdragon Gen 8 cpu at 4nm. Both S7 & S8 has the same usb type C 3.2 for 5gb data transfer rate. Honestly, i wish samsung would have improve their GPU even if its going to cost more.
Does anyone see a Ultra Verizon 5G model available or know if it's coming?
I was highly upset about this. A lot of articles say it has a 5G variant, but I haven't seen it. The only 5G one is the s8+ for now. But I did contact Verizon support and I asked them about that, because I told them I went to order the ultra, and they didn't have it. The woman informed me in a very short confirmation that Verizon was suppose to get all 3. Just didn't tell me when.
Also, I did contact Samsung support and asked about the 5G ultra model, and all they said was "Soon".
@@cotyjohnson2761 thank you for letting me know! I'll let you know if I see anything, please keep me updated
dose anyone know if the keyboard has backlight?
it has. check other videos they show the keyboard with backlight on.
Loved the HyunA feature 😉 ❤️
I pre order s22 ultra red colour and s8 tab ultra. I can't wait to get it
will there S8FE ???
I just preordered the Ultra version
3:03 it’s not a tablet review video without deriding people who take videos using tablets. It’s not a funny joke anymore.
And btw, there are use case scenarios for rear cameras on a tablet. It’s a productivity device after all.
I just pre-ordered the ultra with 5G. Can't wait to get it!
how i couldnt find anywhere to preorder the tablet ultra
useless crap.
damn you rich rich😳
I can't find the Verizon 5G, where did you see it?
Yea where? That's the part that upset me, I couldn't find the 5g variant of the ultra. The only ones samsung had for preorder was s8 wifi, s8+ wifi/5G with Verizon, and s8 ultra wifi. So how did you get it?????
What android flaws?
There is no pre-order option for India, and only 256 storage option is available for notification coming.
What is the price...
