I like your hat. I'm a big city girl now but truly enjoy your videos .. takes me back to happy years in Texas growing up! Thumbs up, enjoy the rest of the week!
That went together nicely!! It won't be long now and you'll get to hear that sweet sound of it running! With only 36k on the block and the good prices you got, it will be worth it!
I used to have an old scout that have the 345 in it I scrapped it I must be an idiot.. you're doing a great job I've built a lot of engines in my lifetime it never gets old there's nothing like hearing that first start up and grinning from ear-to-ear when it purrs like a kitten
Like number 4 thanks for your visit to our channel we really appreciate it interesting video thanks for sharing it with us we got ya always and we love ya always we have lefted a awesome likeee as always take care always 👍👍👍
Lucky the engine exhaust manifolds are good. Nice job on the old cornbinder. We had a 63 1600 with a 304 in it. It clicked and clacked from cracked manifolds but still hauled grain nicely. We also had a 72 1/2ton with the 345.
that reminds me when I was younger, but I'm not able to get down under vehicles very easily,, it's good to fix something and then get to see the success when it's running,
I've never heard of using that Lucas Oil Stabilizer for assembly lube. Looks like it works just fine, I'm curious how many others out there use it. I don't recall ever seeing a dot like that on top of a piston, what is the function of that? Sorry if I missed the explanation within the vid. It's a coming along though! Will be oh so sweet when it fires up for first time.
"Slick as a pig in..." Keyboard! You can feel the bevel too though, right? And the squared off one? I am watching this like it is my truck and hoping I did everything right! Funny... because I had to do too much manual work on my cars way back when... and I did not like the learning curve... wait, this was part three... I specifically recall you chatting about getting this done - even if you didn't record it for part one! Watching and Supporting... really wanting this to work smooth - and very much looking forward to seeing that engine running well! Watching and Supporting - LIKING another video!
Great job man. The Lucas oil is great for lubing on engine rebuilds.Time has gotten away from me. I promise I do a shout out so in the next couple weeks probably when to start working on rebuilding the Massey 231 engine I will give you shout out. Have a good one man
Did you use a cylinder hone on the cylinders and I assume that the ring groove was acceptable.. or you would have pulled the engine rather than do an inframe overhaul
Hi guys!! It's great to see you bringing an old IH engine back to life! I've never seen an International SV-engine with the heads removed and I noticed the very wide bore-spacing! Is that because there's a water jacket all around (360 degrees) each cylinder?
+Farmall Fanatic Hi there Farmall Fanatic! Thank you for the quick response & for the answer to my question - I appreciate it! I live in South Africa & I own a 1973 1310 with a 345 in it. In my eyes it's a work of art! Those old Internationals were built to last! I enjoy your videos very much, thanks!!
With all the scoring I saw in Part I, don't be too surprised if it burns at least some oil. Once you get it cranked, let it break in and see from there. If you foul plugs on those scored cylinders then you'll have to decide from there. But, just my opinion.
Whos the wild man helping you? From the glimpses I catch he looks like the epitome of shade tree mechanic ( and I don't mean that in a bad way). Prolly learned from his pappy when they was tearin' down that big black Dodge to run 'shine from Copper Head road down to Knoxville back in the day...
IH made those 345s very heavy to say the least lol they easily weigh as much as a GM 454 BB but wont turn the RPMS the GM BB and SB will But overall the IH 345 were better porportioned ports/cyl. size and could fill the cylinders better..
don't them new pistons look pretty in the block!! I have the wife use baby oil on every thing.. then there is no clean up to take the party inside!! lol. I suppose I should ask if that is your wife, sister or neighbor before I make sex jokes?! gear driven cam nice!! that's a heavy looking block for an old gasser!! JB weld to smooth out the hash marks! holy cow just when you think you have heard it all. TOMMORROW?? make it run today. I want to hear it run!!
No thats a farm hand...Hillbilly is a great mechanic! IH made em heavy no doubt! Hey, maybe it is running now and these are all previously recorded mmbahaha

I always use Lucas for all sorts of items. Best stuff around. Thanks again for sharing❗️👍🏻
Amazing to see the Inside of an engine, great stuff!
Man I’m ready to see it going with a load of beans. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Know nothing about this, but it is most interesting to watch! Thanks
Nice to see you again out there tinkering with the engine!
That went together nicely!! It won't be long now and you'll get to hear that sweet sound of it running! With only 36k on the block and the good prices you got, it will be worth it!
I still cant imagine it, but I know its gonna happen!
There nothing like hearing that first pop off of that motor!! lol
Liked again. Goodness, the patience to do all those works👍💖

Coming along great! Lucas oil is an awesome product. Use it in all my vehicles.
Playing catch up some videos tonight, looks great, look forward to seeing the rest.

Nice motor my friend, thank you for talking about this
Nice job, with a little luck you'll have it going in no time

Once you get to the modern day computer cars, Im useless. This is a 1974 model. Sucks, blows, and burns lol

Awesome rebuild 👍🏼👍🏼
thank you so much for sharing this amazing
Nice rebuild, really getting into it!! Well done, you have to know your stuff for this :) great work
Always work to be done at Farmall. Does look like a good life. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your support.
hi there!! thank you for sharing!!
I never seen this done before, it looks very interesting. I'm sure that its all very heavy once its all put back together.
Interesting. The 345 has straight flat tops. I just got done with my 392 and it has one big relief for the intake valve.
I like the 392 better
like that cool hope that tractor will start
I wish I knew something about rebuilding engines. I would be throwing all kinds of curse words around haha. Looks like it's coming along well though!
I know nothing about engine rebuilding but its looking great! lol
Great work!!
Did you use a cylinder hone on the cylinders and I assume that the ring groove was acceptable.. or you would have pulled the engine rather than do an inframe overhaul
Yes I did
Oh my goodness this looks intense!! :D
It's coming together! I forgot to ask, who is helping you?
Hired farm hand
@@FarmallFanatic why does your hired hand sound so much like Timmy Cornpicker?
@@hturbo1007 🤠 good ol' Timmy
Great video
Great job
Getting closer!
Yep! 👍
Nice video😊👍46
Where did you get your parts I'm rebuilding a 392 and am trying to find parts and all I can find are some kits that are damn expensive
I bought the expensive kit...ran 2k at the time...I'm sure it's way more now
@@FarmallFanatic ok thanks for the help
That LEGO is very complex :)
Very cool!

260 to 280 degrees, they do have wide decks...prevents over heating...but yes, pretty much water jackets all the way around

The block only had 38000 miles on it there was no way that I was not rebuilding it
My OCD is going crazy! Lol I have to have every part cleaned. Lol
Engineering realy. am 0 about it. big thumbs up for this upload
I really wish you would have honed that engine propery and given it a crosshatch, you will use up half of those new rings getting those seated.
I'm in heaven I done a 275 head and I love it
Nice!
Hurry up buddy, I want to start harvesting beans soon! Lol
Why? You got corn picked already Haha
@@FarmallFanatic no I just did the outside rows on that one field to feed my steers. I'm hoping to start beans as soon as the rain stops
good video
Are you saying Gel Proof or Joe Proof?
Joe
Thanks for sharing. Watch the WHOLE video for ya. Hit the thumbs up. #73

Looks killer i bet it will run tell you think the trucks junk years out of that truck 10 to 5 is say but frame looks good
Do you just supervise your farmhand all day and cruise on the tractor drinking bud heavies? 😁🍻
Damn right 🍺
so cool

Hello hello.....i know nothing about engines...lol but hope all is well with you ♡♡♡
💞💕💓💗💖😇💖💗💓💕💞 dang I guess I'm going out to watch part 1
Should use white engine rebuilders grease on the cam Lucas oil can be to thick to let oil pump prime...
getting there.
Cool
Any chance of a free engine coming my way
You hate free! I love free! 🤣
Don't bang your crank when you're punching your pistons! It's good to have farm hands like that!
Hillbilly is priceless on this farm.
Awsome job but hard work

mind blown. time warp. I can hear it now, that unique grain truck idle sound of a big old muffler echoing under the chassis.
I know nothing lol but it looks nice lol sorry 😉😳
You have a lot of women watching these.
Not back then
