Hello 72 here ! I came across your video, not long ago and found it simple to follow. I do exercise but mostly just walking. I don’t like feeling tiredness so my problem is consistency. I will try to solve the problem from now on. what I like in your video, besides it’s simpleness ,is how you tell when it’s about to switch and few tips. (Not chatting or tell stories all the time like ive seen in some.) So , in the meantime, I can concentrate on the exercise. Thanks to you.

@@durreshehwar4272 Hi! My suggestion is to modify any exercise that doesn't work well for you. If the hamstring curl is tough on your knee, then definitely switch it to something else. A step touch (feet back and forth) is likely a better move for your knee. Congrats for being here and for taking that first step to working out! I truly hope you come back every day. A little bit every day definitely adds up!

Hello! I discovered this yesterday and it’s perfect for me. I’m recovering from shoulder surgery after a fall 4 months ago and haven’t been able to do my usual daily walking routine. Clear and precise instructions, in a warm and friendly manner.
My only request would be the option for subtitles as I have a hearing loss and have to depend on lip reading/subtitles. Thank you! 💕

Welcome to my channel and thank you for letting me know that you're new here. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'gentle level' playlists. There are lots of other short 10-20 minute walks that I hope will help. Taking breaks as needed is a great way to be able to do more of the workout and in time, you'll get stronger and be able to do more. Another option is to do the seated workouts on days when your energy is lower due to chronic fatigue. The gentle seated workouts focus on gentle movement to improve flexibility and range of motion. I also create 3 levels for those so you can pick and choose depending on your energy. I'll add my other seated channel in case you'd like to try some there: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts

I like your videos (music...movements...tempo...walking with movements GREAT). Especially in a day when I have low energy level...feel stress out or nerve pains. I like doing movements outdoor / on bed / on chair or standing at floor when possible. Main thing is when videos are not that long and they are gentle movements it is easy to start doing. When you feel like doing more you can do video two times or do 2-3 videos. My wishes for length is 10-15-20 minutes...maybe 30 minutes too with warm up or cardio...movements and stretching with this gentle tempo :) Keep on doing great videos. I am 61 with spinal issues that causes a great deal of pain & I've been looking for exercise I can do. I can't move like I used to since having my pain meds forcefully reduced like millions of other people. When pain hits a certain level you just want to find a comfortable chair or position & stay there. That just causes further health problems & becoming overweight. When I was younger I loved aerobics & was a bit addicted to it. Finding your video aroused those same feelings for aerobics I had before. I know this will help me. Thank you for making this video!!

Another good workout for you to try would be the video I created with my dad. It is for knee osteoarthritis but would help strengthen your legs and strengthen the muscles around your knees. Do what you can and take the next day off if needed before doing the workout again the next day.

I thought this would be a breeze, but I found it was a true challenge. I did end up slowing my pace as I do have hip and knee problems. Hi, I just found this video and I'm so glad!! I'm 45 but suffer from tummy issues and pain issues, so some days are so hard to get through without exercise. Yet I don't feel up to it, so I push through and make myself feel sick. This is perfect for those days, or days when I have a cold or the flu. I'd say this is perfect for Covid patients too, who need to move and get some exercise but have no energy. I move faster on days I feel better and at your pace when I don't have the energy to go faster. I see you have lots of videos and I'll try those. I will say that people using workout videos like to hear the instructor encouraging them. These tend to be people uncomfortable at gyms at the moment or unable to afford them, or possibly unable to get outside, so having that interaction is very helpful. I also liked the silent one you did that I tried today. A good mix!

Hi Anne! When I do videos with certain times such as 30 second intervals, I always use a clock with a countdown now. In the talking videos, it's a little bit harder to stick to the 30 second countdown because I usually don't stick with the 30 seconds but instead change it up when I feel it's time to change the exercise move. But, when I do videos in the future with set times, I will include the clock. I have had others give the same feedback so I think most people like to have the clock:) The steps are also included now, too, and I agree, music always motivates people but surprisingly, some people actually prefer the videos without (due to hearing loss and not being able to hear my voice). I am getting better at editing, though, and I am trying to ensure my voice is louder than the music so it works for most people. I appreciate you taking the time to provide me with feedback. Thank you!!!

These work outs are great and I’m very thankful to you. I’ve been doing to 20mins too really good. One thing though I don’t know if it’s me or if the music is not great for your beat I like it but struggle to move to the beat (sorry)

I often put music in after the fact since the sound quality is better but I understand what you’re saying. I’ll work on this.

If one were to be judged by the number of fitness videos one sees, I should be the WORLD FITNESS CHAMPION !
I achieve all this from the cosy comfort of my chair, moving *only my thumb* to 'like' the video and subscribe to the channels.
Never once am I on my legs to try out the moves, however impressive they may be.
*But all that changed with your video.*
It suddenly struck me that *nothing* could be easier; and if i didn't try it at least once, i would be a loser!
So i did it! The first time, the hand-leg coordination was a challenge. But I went through the motions as best as I could. When the video ended, i was relieved that i had lasted the whole 10 min.
I subscribed to the channel and also added it to my *fitness* playlist, ( where countless similar videos lie in a perennial state of hibernation. )
Today, late evening, I played the video again, and went through the moves. The much better hand-leg coordination was the pleasant surprise! I felt really involved and the whole session seemed shorter!!
And this time, when it was over, I could actually feel the blood rushing through the veins and arteries !!
I am going to look forward to these 10 min everyday from now on; and also see more of your other videos.
    Thank you!!.
I think I am going to walk your talk.
    Krish from India🙏

Oh wow, what an awesome comment to read today. THANK YOU!!! I truly hope you continue to enjoy the variety I create, Krish. I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts
I now upload all new seated workouts to the new channel. A lot of people like to use the seated stretches on the new channel and the seated workouts also come in handy when the walking is too much some days.
Lastly, I upload all of the workouts from both channels to my website at www.improvedhealthforseniors.com
I hope that helps and I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.

Thank you for all these links.
Like the infamous ' Insulin Resistance ' I suffered from 'Exercise resistance '. And it was your channel that was the breakthrough!
After acquiring a complete fluidity of these ' first ' exercises, i am very soon going to try to incorporate ALL your routines.

Sadly, I've let myself become seriously unfit. I really like your workout videos. I'm 56yrs old and I'm looking to do these worouts every day.

You're here, and you're doing it! My suggestion is to commit yourself to doing 5 minutes each day no matter how tired you might be. For most people, after the 5 minutes you'll become energized and motivated to do more and will likely finish the 10-15 minute workout video that you started. Stick with short workouts until it gets easier and until it becomes more of a habit. Welcome to my channel and I truly hope my workouts keep you coming back daily.

Thank you. They've really helped me. I'm clinically obese. I'm on my feet 8 hrs a day, so these exercises are a massive help. I'm also having trouble sleeping, so again I'm sure they'll help. Thanks for everything.
