I was 6 yrs old the first time my parents took me to the movies. Drive in movie. 1965 . It was " Darby O'Gill and the Little People" with Sean Connery and Janet Munro. She was so pretty . I'll never forget that moment.

I first saw Janet Munro in the film The Trollenberg Terror(a.k.a. The Crawling Eye in the U.S.). She is very cute.

I watch some of these videos and wonder how beautiful women like her with some talent and all her advantages do as they age. I honestly hope they do well. Unfortunately she didn't have a chance to find out and had some heartache. I lost a son who was a young man so I feel for those who die too young. At least her memory is shared on youtube, RIP.

It wasn't JUST the 1950s and 1960s that produced the finest entertainers...it was the entire 20th Century! Best century ever!

I enjoyed the video very much. I’ll give it a 9 only because Janet had an unhappy life that ended much too soon. Recognized her in every photo except bathtub. Looks like a different person to me. Must be the attitude in the bath 🛀.

Sad how they self destruct or are destroyed by Hollywood. But then you have the ones who survive.

Nice resume of the Munro career, but I don't think she could be said to have been at the peak of her career when she died. She'd been in a serious traffic accident and had to have plastic surgery done on her face. She'd not worked in television or film since early 1972. Maybe she did some stage work.
